The Bone Hero, Jokara

The world of villains and heroes. Something right out of comic books. But for these people, it's a reality. And it's nowhere near as fun as the comics make it seem. Tag along with Jokara, an enigma even in his own world, as he tries to discover some kind of meaning and drive for himself. Disclaimer: Jokara will become a hero. But at the same time, his actions will often be very questionable for a hero, as well as a villain. (This is my first story. In my opinion, it's really not that good, and I want to get much better. Please keep that in mind as you read it. I would seriously appreciate constructive criticism, but please don't be a dick about it.)

Chapter 45: Shie Hassaikai

(Daily Music: Downstait-Fight As One)

(Please read the author note at the end. It's about a VERY big decision for the story.)

It was the day after my last patrol, the one where I got two more Quirks.

I had gotten to school, meeting my watchers as usual. I was going to experiment with the two new Quirks when I got back home. The bioluminescence was something that I would have to put a good bit of thought into for how to make good use of the light manipulation.

I already have some ideas. Weapon constructs made from the light, flashbangs by using large bursts of light, stuff like that.

(Please help me with it. I am not very good when it comes to light manipulation powers for ideas. Most of my power creativity lies in almost every other area.)

The Quirk that let me get information about others would be incredible for finding out what people have done, no matter how good they are at hiding the skeletons in their closet.

While we were doing our work, I was thinking on something.

I had been hearing of and even sometimes seeing what I assumed was some kind of gang around the streets, committing organized crime.

Judging by what the news was saying, they were doing something that affected people's Quirks.

Either way, I wanted to look into it. A group like that sounds much more dangerous than any villains currently roaming around, especially taking the Quirk damage theories into consideration.

Thinking of this topic got me to think of the annoyances of having to conceal everything at UA.

Come to think of it, do I still even care about UA?

Ever since the night the villains attacked my home and Kota died, I saw no more worth in UA. I still don't. I'm kind of just going along with what's happening.

Something to think on.

-After school-

Aizawa told us that we were going to be on patrols with heroes for a while. Most people would be patrolling with the heroes that they interned with, so I would be with Miruko.

I simply ran to her agency when we were let out of school, and arrived swiftly. Miruko was informed of the patrols already, so she was waiting for me at the front of the agency.

"Looking forward to seeing you in action again, kiddo!", she told me.

I got dressed into my hero costume, and I went patrolling with her. She asked me how I had been doing at UA after her internship. I told her of all the fights I had, the new techniques I learned, my physical progress, etcetera.

Judging by her grin, she must be proud.

She was the only person that wasn't someone from my family that I actually liked. She's a large reason for my high level of power. She also understands my brutality, and accepts it.

We didn't find much, just a few petty criminals that we effortlessly dealt with without even using our abilities. However, I was constantly using the Quirk I got last night that gave me information of people, but I was doing something that I was happy to find out actually worked.

Instead of scanning people, scan the area.

It actually worked, and every time I activate it, it tells me whether someone who has committed horrid things is nearby, which I could then follow up by scanning the individual people around me until I found that person.

I eventually got a response that there was one such person around. I looked around the area, and saw a man with a green coat with purple fur. He was pulling a white haired little girl with him,

I scanned him.

"Kai Chisaki. His Quirk, Overhaul, allows him to disassemble and reassemble matter by touching it with his hands, but even a finger is sufficient enough to activate his Quirk."

It also told me something that surprised me.

He was the current leader of the Shie Hassaikai.

I would need some way to track this scumbag. I made an extremely small bone bullet with a Tracking property on it, and shot it at him. I made it just strong enough to pierce skin, but not bad enough to pull attention towards it if you're already occupied with something, which he was.

When it pierced his skin, I could see neon green footprints on the ground wherever he went, as well as areas to travel along the paths he was taking.

Now, when patrols are over, I can track this asshole.

-After patrolling-

Now, time to take down a Yakuza group.

I decided fully that, at this point, I don't care if I get seen. I don't care if UA kicks me out. That's why I'm not waiting until night to do this.

I'll become a hero one way or another. Maybe not one recognized by the job of the same name, but more as a title from the people.

(Okay, this question is EXTREMELY important. It will decide where the rest of the story goes from here on out.

Should he get caught and become a vigilante fully? I have lots of ideas for what things to do if you guys choose this path. He'll basically be like Stain if he killed both villains and corrupt heroes.

Or should he stay in UA? To be honest, I don't think it'll be very good if this option is picked, since I keep having to refer to the wiki for what happens next in the story, and I just in general want to branch off majorly from official events even more than they already have been.)
