I'm De, the author of The Bodyguard Wife. Firstly, I'd like to thank you for giving my story a chance. I really hope you enjoy the story as much as I enjoy writing it.

Secondly, there are some things I'd like to note down before you start reading this story. One is what to expect from this story and the second thing is a disclaimer.

This book will have mature content so please be aware that there will be some swearing and violence at times.

Additionally, the romance will be a slow burn. The beginning of the story will have a bigger focus on the characters and plot.

I will put some romantic aspects (this is a romance after all) but please don't expect an insta-love between the ML and FL straight from the get-go.

Also, all my characters are flawed one way or another. They're not Mary Sues so please be aware that they will make mistakes.

Lastly, the story will be done mostly in the FL's pov but there will be times when I add the ML pov. If you guys want to see more of his pov please let me know.

Other than that, please enjoy my story.
