Daimon was surreptitiously watching his wife to gauge her reaction to the proceedings. He found her far more fascinating than anything else happening in the Cathedral. The service itself had not even started yet, and he could tell she already very uncomfortable.
Suddenly he saw her start to faint. He caught her as she slumped against him. He quickly caught her and tried to keep her steady.
"Are you okay?" His concerned voice and strong presence helped calm her and clear her mind.
"Yes," she reassured him. "I'm just overwhelmed by all of the sights, sounds, and smells."
"Sit down." He said as he helped her into her chair. She accepted his assistance gratefully.
"And lack of food" she said as her stomach gurgled a loud reminder that it had not been fed recently.
