Chapter 30 - Elysium

The group of five enter the third and final realm of the Underworld, which could be considered the closest to paradise; The Elysium. Here, only those who were admired as Heroes or such remain, or so the Olympians thought.

They wander around, careless, however, being unaware that someone is watching them. From a crystal ball, a humanoid-monster tracks their movement, seemingly reporting to someone.

"My queen, it appears as though they've reached their third level."

"Let them be. Hades had ordered for them to escape, so do not hinder their progress any more than they should. After all, we already have someone who will do that for us."

That someone was none other than Persephone, the wife of Hades, who had apparently been keeping an eye on the group, possibly even from the beginning on their journey. Meanwhile, the earlier group had split up, with Akio volunteering to go alone, for he has a better chance of finding a worthy companion.
