The sound of ticking could be heard as the second bar of a wooden clock resting on the wall, slowly turned.
Asper who was sat, leaned against the wall, quietly watched the clock as he began to drift of off.
Each second seemed to feel like minutes, it had already been two hours since Stella had left and yet there were still no signs of her coming back.
He had no form to communicate with her so there was no way to tell whether or not she was fine.
On top of that, she was definitely showing signs that something wrong had been going on with her. Stella's a vampire so would that mean that the problem was a lack of blood?
Asper didn't know much about vampires and had only heard scary tales of them. In fact, they were as good as fiction to him.
'I should probably go check on her.' He thought to himself while getting up. 'Not that I'm worried, but if anything happens we won't have a way back.' He justified.
