Chapter 2 the basics

I woke up looking at an unfamiliar ceiling, I was hoping this is just a dream.

I take a deep breath of fresh air.

I open the door and the sun is shining, I couldn't sleep last night because the clothes I'm wearing is my work uniform and there is also zombie banging on the walls and doors, but then I have to make sure they can't break the doors because in blood moon the zombie can.

it was quite scary for a few minutes until I just got bored of it and fall asleep.

I dip my face from a nearby body of water, as I stare at the water I certainly see I'm still the ugly me, my name?

honestly, I don't hate my old name but it sounds simple and lame... well maybe because I was born by accident.

anyway since I can't go back anyway might as well get a new name.

I can't, maybe later, I should review what I remember about terraria.

now the terraria is a 2d game but right now there are 4 directions, if there's a crimson then corruption can't exist, if there's a snow biome there, then the crimson/corruption biome is on the other side.

the thing is where to head, I toss a torch and it landed to my right, guess I'm heading right first while advancing I also placed a torch as a navigation tool that might come in handy.

as I walk I discovered a few chests that contain loot a wand of sparkling, some lesser potions, shuriken, grenade, and most important is the recall potions!

it has saved my life when I was still magic mirrorless, by drinking, it teleports you back to the spawn point you set.

for the equipment meant I have got an umbrella, an aglet, and climbing claws.

well, I also got a useless book that only works best if you have a blowpipe but there are way more better early weapons out there.

ops I hit a snow Biome, then that means the dungeon might be also here so with nothing but my work uniform which is a long sleeve and pants should be enough for the air-conditioned room.

but a last, I feel my clothes not working at all I'm FREEZING TO DEATH.

I have never experienced snow, this is my first time touching and feeling one.

yup, I jump into a file of snow like a rabbit I stay there for a good second until I can't I panic a little but I manage to wiggle my way out.

"whoa that's satisfying, still cold"

I reckon into taking another jump but my clothes are wet now and I'm FREEZING FOR REAL.

I walk and walk like a good 30 mins walk I was about to use the teleportation potion but I finally reach the end, lucky that the dungeon is not in the snow biome.

I stay a few minutes drying my clothes and myself, it's not like there's a camera everywhere right?

after that, I continue to wander around until I found a big aged column connected like a roman structure but it was also making me creep out.

like a hunted house.

I usually don't believe ghosts exist but since I'm in a fantasy world I couldn't help it alright?

as I walk to the entrance a strange text appears on my face, I sigh in relief, and I continue.

my focus here is to find my favorite early weapon, there are a few books shelf here at the entrance that might contain the "water bolt" it's an early mage weapon.

I don't like fighting melee ranged is my way of fighting, why let the enemy get close to you if you can kill it at the distance.

but since the introduction of yoyo and Zenit, I also started playing melee but not much.

finally, a red book with a gold outline and water drop design.

I open the book and there's nothing.

but then I felt tired a little and something came out on the other side of the book, a water bolt!!

I quickly run outside as the water bolt projectiles are known for bouncing a lot, it's also a very deadly crowd control weapon for early goblin army invasion.

I gulp the recall potion as soon as I can because tonight is the night.

as soon as I'm back craft a bunch of torches with the slices I killed while venturing, I have also crafted a boreal armor set way better than normal wood I suppose.

I dive into the cave a few walks into the house, I did hit a few dead ends but I just dig more I gonna need better armor so I mined a lot of gold and iron that I can find.

Kim's and small bags are not that a treat but sometimes there's a skeleton out there but the most dangerous thing underground is.

I rolled to my left as soon as I heard the click.

lucky it was only a dart trap, if it's a boulder or explosive then in really in danger I pickaxe the brown pressure plate and then it surprised me.

" WIRESSSS!!'

I didn't know how it would work but now I can see where the wires are, the reason why I'm also lured by this trap is because of the heart crystal.

I observed it for a few minutes before smashing it with my pickaxe it turned small, the system said I need to eat it.

was it even edible? I'm sure I hear glass when I pick it up but whatever.

as I chew on it I felt my body a lot lighter for some reason that I forgot to rate the taste, it was sweet like candy.

I have tried eating fruit but it doesn't make me feel full water fulfills my thirst but this taste fills me gonna find more!!

and so I continue to mine that I forgot what's plan tonight.
