Sighing to myself, I didn't care about being naked as I only had the Fists of Randagulf, Shuten Doji's Mask and the Expendable Bag on me, as well as Shiroishi of course.
I grabbed Shuten Doji's Mask, and took it down, along with the Fists of Randagulf. The others looked at me curiously, and I finally explained, "I'm no longer going to need these."
The Expendable Bag was a utility item, while Shiroishi was different, so those two were still useful to me. But for those two equipment, although they did still provide me with some boosts, I felt like it would be a waste to keep them for myself when they could be better used by my teammates.
I threw Shuten Doji's Mask at Asher, and explained, "This improves Reaction Time and damage with Katanas, which is perfect for you."
As for the Fists of Randagulf, I gave them to Helena, "These boosts all physical damage, so it could be used by most of the team, but it also boosts Cell Vitality and Muscle Density, and since Vampires rely a lot on Cell Vitality, it goes to you."
I felt a little dejected at giving these away, not because I was selfish, but because of how long they had been with me. Neither of them directly put them on either as they looked at me weirdly, and Sarah patted my shoulder, asking, "What happened?"
I sighed once more, "Nothing, it's just that they have a limit on how much they can boost stats, and I've surpassed it, so they no longer are as useful to me."
Helena and Asher looked at each other, before trying the two artefacts on. But at the same time, Sarah turned me towards her, and started with a joking tone, "First, the view is supposed to be mine only," I smiled at her joke, before she continued more seriously, "But what happened on your side? You feel… different. Are you okay?"
I smiled at her worry, and kissed her forehead, before saying, "I'm fine, I just lost a part of my humanity, to turn more into a dragon. That's probably why my aura changed."
"And that's fine?"
I nodded, "Yes, see it as me turning into a Dragonborn. If anything, I just got stronger."
"What about the Skeleton Key?"
I rubbed the back of my head, "Well, about that…"
---
My team had a few questions about what happened in Skyrim, all of which I answered, and it took me some time to convince them that I was fine. Well, I didn't exactly tell them everything, as I stopped at me being unable to bring the Skeleton Key away. I said nothing about facing Nocturnal.
I could see a few of them had doubts about my statement, but they didn't press on.
Then, things went as planned as the others left for the world of The Boys to train. I did try to resist the frozen time effect as they disappeared, and was surprised by myself as I actually did manage to last for a couple of seconds, long enough to see my team being carried away from the room, before being forcefully frozen.
Well, actually, I wasn't sure about how long I had managed to resist the time stop effect, as not only was time no longer moving, so counting seconds was a bit pointless, but also because the people being moved were my only landmark.
To me, at one moment I was standing in the empty room, and in the next, my team suddenly appeared in front of me, as the moment I had slightly slipped, I was frozen in time, and only regained conscience when they appeared again.
In any case, none of them were in a bad shape after returning from their time in The Boys. Although they were strong now, a part of me couldn't help but worry since Butcher and Soldier Boy were still alive, and both had a grudge against me.
Anyway, that was about the only eventful thing to happen as I waited for them as the rest of the ten days of rest passed quietly.
This time, we no longer used those days to train as a team, as it wasn't really useful. They had already trained within The Boys, and ten days wouldn't change much anyway.
I did get the time to think, however. About the changes brought by my gains in Skyrim, and the knowledge I had learned.
My previous path had been to collect artefacts that gave me external power, but that had clearly hit its limits. That did not mean I couldn't use artefacts anymore however, as I took a page from the Daedra, and decided to make my very own artefacts.
I had actually already started with Shiroishi, not only with the Lifeforce I infused in it but also the daily Cursed Energy while in Skyrim.
However, that wasn't it yet as even in Jujutsu Kaisen, Cursed Tools weren't linked to one person, but instead gained power from a continuous exposure to Cursed Energy. If I wanted to make it mine, then I needed to infuse it with my essence. And that, I had started doing with my lifeforce.
The technique was not perfect yet, but the goal was for Shiroishi to become akin to a Daedric Artefact, a literal extension of myself. Of course, I could also just search for a stronger artefact with a higher limit, but I preferred to make my own, so that its limit would only be my own.
So the last few days passed by quickly for me as I was engrossed in trying to infuse Shiroishi with my essence.
For now, however, it was time for our next mission. Bloodborne.
We had already guessed that this was going to be a 20 men mission, simply because of the nature of the world. It was filled with Great Ones, eldritch beings of seemingly godly power.
However, the real danger was not a physical one, as although there were extremely strong beings in that world, the true threat was mental, as anyone within that world would be afflicted with Frenzy and madness.
And the closer to the Great Ones got, the worse the danger.
I couldn't help but wonder about what our mission would be, however. Killing bosses? Surviving for a set period of time? Or protect someone?
There was also the possibility of this world being shared between the several licenses of From Software, the game studio who made Bloodborne. Be it the Dark Souls series, Elden Ring or Demon's Souls, they all had Great Ones in them, and it had been theorized more than once that they took place in either the same world, or at least in the same universe.
Well, I suppose there's no way for us to know beforehand. Even if it wasn't a shared universe, Bloodborne's world was already complex as it is as not only showed only the city of Yharnam and didn't say anything about the rest of the world, but Yharnam itself was a rather strange city that might not even be real.
After all, in one of the endings of the game, if the player accepts to die, they awake outside of Yharnam, in the 'real world'.
A part of me felt excited at the prospect of elucidating those mysteries, but it was also a horrific world filled with nightmares come true, and would thus be dangerous.
Was it only dangerous for me, I wouldn't really mind, that only makes it all the more exciting, but I didn't want my team to be hurt.
[Starting teleportation to Bloodborne.]
God's light swallowed me, and tried to put me in a daze as usual, but I resisted it as I watched us all be launched through chaos, in destination of a new world.
