Fateful meeting

Hero stood in front of the elevator, waiting patiently for it to arrive which would take him towards the medical building. He can't help but smile thinking about finally being able to meet Avalyn in the flesh. 

It has been a while, it has been a long while since they last saw each other face to face.

Even though Hero was able to watch Avalyn from the screen whenever she got caught on one, physically seeing her was still different.

Feeling uncomfortable wearing the prosthetic leg which allowed him to walk freely without his motorized wheelchair, Hero passed the ramen that was secured by its styro packaging on his other hand. It was his way of wanting to distract himself. He needed something to keep his mind busy and devoid himself of thinking about his discomfort.
