Arrival : hidden Archduke

The bright rising sun that gives light to a new day, As they reached the mansion at the break of Dawn, The guardsman quickly announced his arrival.

"His highness and his troops has arrived!!!.. Now !Open the gates!!" The guardsman ordered.

The iron gates that had been sealed protection opened, as the creaking sound of the iron gates hitting the floor . The daunting creak of iron gates shuddered all it's servants, who's been busy working at the mansion.

Knowing his arrival,his loyal knights and it's people quickly gathered as they paid obeisance to him."Welcome Back!! Your highness !!" They welcomed, while bowing down their heads , showing respect on him.

As he land down on his horse,Lucian who's watching them in a tranquil expression walked through on them ,as he gaze up to the mansion's head butler and ordered him." You know what to do , head butler." He murmured, as the servant take off his coat ,Lucian went up to his office in an instance.

"Yes , your highness.. I'll prepare it right away ." He respond,as he gazed up to the servants ." Prepare his highness bath and his breakfast to his room!..and also stop shivering and serve him well." He berated, wincing in dismay.

Walking through the east hallway, as they head to his office. Conan who's one step behind ,asked him apprehensively. "Your highness, we must arrange and contact you're allies .The Marquess Addams of the southern portion of Pedalion and Count Heatherson of the Northeast portion of Pedalion must send their response to your proposal."

" Stop babbling will you!! Eugene have already take care of it, So that's why I'm heading to my office!" He stated ,glaring at his knight asphyxiated. Raising a brow when he heard a familiar voice from a distance, He turned his head in the source's direction only to see a man running towards him.

"Your highness!!, Please wait for a sec!!hahh."

Conan and Lucian turned and gazed at Melvin who's gasping for air.The latter stopped two feet away, His eyes instantly dilated. Shifting his eyes from the body on the ground to a knight and to Lucian, it was too easy for him to grasp the situation, knowing that he'll be in trouble if he can't come.

"Your Melvin right?! Why looked so pale and exhausted?"He asked as he slowly stood up to face his uncle's advisor.

"Let me guess, he wouldn't let this slide right?"He queried as his guess of Melvin's advent were correct.

"I guess there's no use of telling ,why I'm here looking for you."he sighed in relief.

"Conan! Please checked all the knights in the training grounds and call for Commander Vermon and Captain Hanse to come over in my office before dinner."He ordered, giving him a cued to leave.

As they head to his uncle's office, he's query for the upcoming warfare of Pedalion, made him dilated to ask.

"How's our soldiers reinforcement ?"he query, waiting for response.

"So far, your proposal of alliance between two sides had been accepted. Now that swore their allegiance, they've sent their military forces to us ,and there's one thing we need to do ."

"We need to strengthen and develop our coherence in our military strategy in both sides. foreasmuch that you've finally returned , we'll be departing tomorrow night and head to our military base." He murmured as he looked at him and walked backwards,then he knocked.

"Let him in !" He ordered,As his advisor opens the door and let Lucian enter his office in complete serenity.

The hidden Archduke of Pedalion, Alucard De Veron. Who's mostly known as Viscount Reynold Agriche of the east, Is now infront of him ,and gazing at him asphyxiated.

His long bluish hair and his silver eyes shines ,as his cold expression gaze up to him ,emitting an aura of its preponderance.

Seeing that all curtains were closed, leaving no room for light to enter,but on his desk was a candle that still gave a faint light to the dim room.

"Yes, your Grace."he replied, his tonality was inferior to himself, but still choose to stay silent.

"Now, let's get to the point."he murmured.

"Do you know how reckless you are, on what have you done?" He query as his gaze never left on Lucian's eyes.

"Yes, I am fully aware of what I have done, uncle ."he replied.

"Then,why heading to the capital of AVANDOR?!!!! Because of a young girl being abducted?!!"he berated as his tranquil expression , berserk in rage as he stood up and throws a silver dagger right into his . Lucian quickly dodge his hurl as the dagger

got thrimp on the door. Lucian expression wasn't bothered at all , but instead bow's it head as he asked for remission.

"I apologize , uncle! I'm fully aware of what I have done, and I'll take responsibility for it!"he stated.

"Take responsibility?!..If so, then can you take responsibility for consequences on your reckless actions!"

"You are the Crown Prince of Pedalion! and the precious son of my sister! If the empress finds out about that girl and all that you've done. Do you think she wouldn't take it as an advantage!"

"You should be thankful, that the time of the warfare was extended. So now we only have 2 weeks to prepare, The Marquess and the Count, didn't know that you recklessly head to the capital for a girl. if they found out about it, they'll probably denied your proposal."

"For your punishment, You are prohibited to send or receive any letters or contact with that young girl "he berated.

Leaving that dim office, Lucian quickly head to his room, as he take a cold bath on his bathtub , leaning his head on the corner. Lucian sighed in distressed as he closed his eyes and relaxed for a moment.

"i miss her, now I can no longer see her for a while."he thought as he placed his arms on the edges of the bathtub .

"your warmth and sweet smiles ,your gentle kisses on my forehead, i'll miss it so much. the sweet jokes and memories, i'll cherish them all untill we meet again."he thought as he opens his eyes in relief.

As he finished taking a bath, those servants who've been shivering from earlier, annoyed him . making him deliberate in rage,"get out or i'll kill you"he threatened, the servants quickly leave the room in escape.

*KNOCK!!! KNOCK!!*

"It's me your highness, and a servant."Eugene stated as he opened the door careful and closed it back nicely.

A servant who's holding a tray of his meal , Carefully places the tray a lot on a table, as the servant quickly leave than her arrival.

"I guess you've already taken care of it, am my right ? Eugene."

"Well done, then if you don't have any reports to show, I'll take a rest for a while."

As the sun sets. Lucian, Eugene and his knights. Head to the military base that is located in the Northwest near border between Pedalion and Veorisian empire. we're 6 day's of travel awaits them,

As they rode with horses , the long travel between borders has finally reached, As both sides united.
