Chapter 11; Mu Zhu, you are lying...

In the Maple Valley Villa, Mu Rong was getting more worried and agitated because he had to get permission from his uncle to use company resources for his own private business.

"Mu Rong, have you contacted him? Has he said anything?" Zhan Shan nervously inquired seeing how stupefied and lost Mu Rong looked.

"My uncle isn't picking up the calls, you know I have to get the authority from him before using the company Public Relations Department.." he was now sweating profusely, he tugged his shirt lightly and switched the air conditioner on.

"How about you use them without doing requests, you are also a member of the Mu family and also you own some amount of shares, don't tell me you have those titles just in form of words and they don't transition to anything. " She yelled at him loudly, she couldn't accept her name being sullied.

" Zhan Shan, you need to calm down.. if we don't have a solution until tomorrow morning, we will go to your family and propose marriage, while I process the divorce papers, since she had signed, it will take only six hours to be annulled." He drew her into his arms hugging her tightly as she wailed.

It was heartbreaking seeing her getting worked up, he wanted her to be happy, but on their first day, they were already facing such a critical crisis...

He dialed Mu Zhu's number and it went through, after two rings Mu Zhu glanced at Mu Shen before answering the call.

"Hello, Mu Zhu speaking here.." he already saw the number and knew it was Mu Rong calling him but still he answered it politely.

"Mu Zhu, are you with my uncle? I'm trying to reach him but his phone is switched off." Mu Rong hurriedly explained his motive for the call, he was anxious and restless, if he delayed the more the matter will escalate and it wouldn't be easy for him to cool it down.

"No, your Uncle traveled and he is out of the country.." Mu Zhu lied with his calm voice as it laid back lazily, he crossed his legs while unbuttoning his suit coat, just the first buttons.

"What? When will he return? I have got an emergency and I need his help urgently." Mu Rong panicked as his palms began sweating.

Zhan Shan suddenly snatched the phone and moved away from Mu Rong.

"Mu Zhu, you are lying... Mu Shen is there with you, why is he acting like this.. tell him to receive the phone now." She screamed out hysterically.

"Zhan Shan, what do you think you are doing?" Mu Rong jerked up as he hurriedly approached her and tried to snatch the phone away.

Zhan Shan moved back thus Mu Rong missed her hand and accidentally knocked on the table leg, before she could fall after losing her balance, Mu Rong hurriedly caught her by her waist securing her.

Mu Zhu hung up the phone before switching it off, he massaged his temples feeling a little headache shooting in, and that scream got him before he could pull the phone away from his ear.

"Zhan Shan, let me handle the situation, your hysterical behavior won't help us in any way." He carried her and placed her on the bed before tucking her in bed nicely.

He took the phone away but the screen had darkened, he pressed the power button and realized Mu Zhu must have abruptly ended the call.

He redialed his number all over again, he couldn't understand why his uncle who had just returned would suddenly take a business trip.

"The number you trying to reach is currently unavailable... Please try again later.."

"Could it be network issues?" He mumbled under his breath as you could only see his lips moving.

"The number you are trying to reach is currently unavailable... Please try again later.." he received the same robotic response and realized, Mu Zhu must have switched his phone off.

He tightened his grip around the mobile phone tightly, if it were some soft or crunchy substance, it could have been crushed into pieces.

He turned around and glanced at the woman who was whimpering silently under the covers.

He settled down on the bed and gently patted her shoulders, "Zhan Shan, don't worry... I won't let your career be destroyed by anyone, if the Chennai Entertainment Company doesn't want you anymore, I can transfer you to our Entertainment City even though it had just begun.." he consoled her, this was the woman who would make his heart beat and regardless of anything, he will do absolutely everything to make her happy.

"Everyone right now is laughing at me, how am I going to face my friends and classmates.." she sobbed as tears streamed down her cheeks, she couldn't stop thinking about her good reputation.

"Don't worry, I will give you a beautiful wedding worth centuries...I won't let anyone trample on your dignity. " He vowed not to let her suffer in any way.

" What if? What if they get news that you are married and I'm the third party in your marriage, I'm the mistress and homewrecker." she wailed out loudly thinking of being labeled as the third party.

" That won't happen, no one knows that I got married.. and I always warned the Civil Registrar Bureau Office about that matter and they had to keep it private and confidential." His phone vibrated as many calls came in.

She kept quiet as she whimpered, Mu Rong glanced at the phone that was vibrating nonstop.
