A change of Leadership

It's 1985, two years since Azazel succeeded in giving Sam his blood, and killing Mary in the time that I was banished.

When I returned to the John's house he was outside holding Sam and Dean, and looking at the house with sadness and rage in his eyes.

"I heard what happened John, she was a good woman, a loving wife, and a loyal friend." I mourned the loss

I could tell John wanted to break down crying over Mary's death, however just like Michael he wanted to appear strong and collected.

I brought John and the boys to the Impala and drove him to a mutual friend's house named Mike Guenther to stay as guests.

After Sam and Dean were tucked in bed, I brought John outside and I gave him a choice in the form of a red and blue pill.

"John, in my hands are a red and blue pill. you have a choice if you pick the blue pill, then you will wake up and the memories of this tragedy will fade away and you will be normal." Opening my right hand

"If you take the red pill, then you will learn the truth about Mary's secret life, about why she was killed, and who killed her." Tempting him with the choice already knowing what he will pick.

John, took the red pill due to grief and rage at Mary's death, made him crave for revenge and he made a promise to get it no matter the cost.

I told him everything about the supernatural world, the types of Monsters and demons he would encounter and other supernatural creatures such as: Ghosts, Hellhounds, vampires, werewolves, djinns, and etc.

"So, what are you going to do with this information that I gave you John? I patiently waited for his answer.

"I'm going to get my revenge on the demon who killed my wife and I'm going to make him and everyone he loved suffer." He replied with hate-filled eyes.

"That's good and all John, but what about your kids? What will happen to them in this mission of yours?

"Because, like it or not Dean worships you, your his role model in life and Sam despite the demon blood in his veins, he is your son."

"And, if you take this path in becoming a hunter, you wouldn't be able to change you will be exposed to things that will keep you awake at night and away from them." warning John from making the mistakes from cannon.

John promised me that he wouldn't bring them to the hunter life nor be distant, but I knew he was lying I could see it in his eyes.

I knew he wouldn't change his mind, and that the path was set I bid goodbye to John, then left teleporting from his sight and returning to heaven.

The countless sounds of my siblings were ringing in my ears, I had missed this familiarity with my anglic Brethren.

Earth was great and all, but it wasn't home to me anymore not since i was reborn as an angel.

I greeted many angels walking down the hallways in heaven, and they greeted me back and some just bowed their head in respect in my presence.

I opened my wings and took flight taking in the scenery and vibrant colors, unlike dead humans I could see the true Visage of heaven and the multiple sections.

I fly all the way to a secret section of heaven, where Ezekiel and Gadreel were waiting for me as guards.

I greeted and chatted with the both of them telling them stories about Earth, and I heard the current state of the seraphs and their divisions from them.

The section of heaven that I was in was the council's meeting room, in the eyes of human's the room was large with white pristine walls and five podiums for its members.

The order of the podiums went like this: Michael in the middle, Me right next to him on the left side, Raphael on the end, Zachariah on the right, and Naomi on the far right.

I stood on my podium and automatically called a meeting, in a nanosecond Michael, Raphael, Zachariah, and Naomi came in a flash of different colored light.

"Why, have you called this meeting Brother? Raphael grumbled thunder booming in his voice.

"Well, good day to you too Raphael how have you been? I sarcastically answered

"But, the reason I called this meeting is to talk about the recently rogue angel Anna and her garrison." I informed all of them

"Why, should anyone here care about some Rouge Garrison captain? Naomi and the Intelligence angels are talking care of it." Said Raphael with a dismissive attitude

"I am well aware of Naomi and her team's mission to track down Anna, and we will talk about it but I wanted to talk about who is going to take control of their Garrison." Replying to the council's silent questions.

"I assume you have a candidate in mind for the position? Questioned Michael looking at me.

"Yes, I propose that Castiel, angel of Thursday takes the vacant position of garrison captain as he is worthy." A bit of pride in my voice.

"Hold on a minute isa-i mean sir, Castiel is a troubled case he has been sent to rehabilitation multiple Times for disobeying a direct orders." Protested Zachariah

I looked at Zachariah as if he were some nonexistent voice.

"Firstly, Zachariah his past mistakes shouldn't stop him from his rightful position or else you wouldn't be here." As Zachariah flinched remembering his act of disobedience

"Secondly, there is no other angel in the garrison who would be able to transition to the role as smoothly as he would."

"Or perhaps you would like to have Balthazar take the spot? Everyone in the council made an ugly expression as they knew of Balthazar's behavior.

"And lastly, this doesn't just come directly from me, G.O.D himself has approved Castiel as an instrument to his plans." I spoke with authority

Just as I finished speaking thunder sounded and a bolt of lightning struck the ground in front of us, but this lightning bolt had Father's power in it.

Immediately, there was no question about Castiel's rise in position as it was clear that Father was siding with me in this.

"Very well, this council's in agreement the angel Castiel will be promoted to the rank of Garrison captain, Effective immediately." Michael's voice Boomed across the room

"Now, that that's settled Naomi, tell me what process you made in tracking Anna down? I questioned

Naomi looked conflicted as if she didn't want to say the results.

"I am afraid to Report that we have N-Nothing new in the search of the Rouge." Naomi stuttered in fear as she reported her failure.

"So, it's been two years, since she left and your division been tasked with finding her and you have nothing to show for it? Sounds of Disappointment emanated from my voice.

Naomi was in a panic, as she knew that it wasn't just me asking the question but the rest of the members of the council as well.

"Tell you what, since it's January I am giving you two months, two months to prove something concrete of her location and status."

" If those two months past and your task is still incomplete then...." My voice was calm but had a tone of threatening to it.

"It will be done, she will be found and captured thank you for your mercy sir." Naomi quickly left to inform her division of their extended time.

After Naomi left, Raphael left too in the form of a water vapor cloud, and Michael left before giving me a brotherly look.

Both me and Zachariah left and reappeared at the Barracks, waiting as Castiel's garrison appeared to us in a flutter of wings.

"Commander, and Zachariah are you here to give us new orders? Questioned Castiel his eyes unblinking.

Zachariah, scowled as Castiel didn't address him with a title and said:

"No, we have come for a different matter since Anna's fall this garrison needs a new captain to re-establish Chain of command."

"Oh, so one of us gets to become the new captain, well I refuse the offer thank you." Said Balthazar jokingly

"It is not you Balthazar, nor will it ever be you with your reputation, no by the grace of the Heavenly council and by the decision of Michael leader of the host the person will be----"

I cut Zachariah off from his speech "Castiel angel of Thursday, approch and accept this position as Garrison captain."

Castiel looked shocked at the fact that he was chosen to led the garrison, when I went to him and gave him the authority of his new rank.

Zachariah, dismissed the rest of the garrison so he could have a private chat about the responsibilities and tasks of a captain to Castiel.

I left them to it and reappeared when a garrison captain meeting was called, I had no need to attend this meeting but I wanted to see the reaction so I turned invisible.

The entire meeting was simply the rest of the garrison captain's distaste about Castiel's new promotion.

One angel was so vocal about it that he demanded Zachariah, to tell him who allowed Castiel to become a captain.

"I did." Appearing behind the loud angel

"C-comander Isaiel, you grace us with your presence. The angel Stammering in fear

"I could have swore you were asking questions on something the council agreed on just now, but that is impossible since that would be questioning an order." I said in a calm tone.

N-nooo, y-you misunderstand com---

"No, I misunderstood nothing a soldier's job is to follow orders and question nothing."

"Which, is what you are not doing and it's clear by your words that you intend to challenge my ruling on the matter."

Snap! I snapped my fingers and both Ezekiel and Gadreel grabbed the angel and sent him off to rehabilitation for his disobedience.

"Anyone else, wishes to challenge the council's ruling? Looking at the whole room

The room is silent and everyone is looking down in fear.

"Good, everyone you are dismissed and Castiel welcome to your promotion." I said with a big smile.

Timskip 2 months

I was eating Chinese food with Father, when I sensed Anna ripping out her grace.

I sighed as my hope that Castiel would be able to capture Anna before this happens disminsh.

I knew it was a matter of time till the first season would start and everything thereafter, I watched the rain as it convade my feelings.
