"You know you have to give us a definite answer, not this childish story," Natasha pressed, her expression firm.
"Okay, fine," Dave sighed, sensing their skepticism. "Actually, she's a superwoman I met while on vacation at a Dubai beach." He could see they weren't buying it.
"She's like a devil. Her powers include manipulating emotions and those black crystal wings, which can both attack and defend. She also has electrokinesis abilities." Dave laid out Trish's powers, not because he didn't wanted to hide them, but because SHIELD had already started hacking into Fisk Tower, and they'd likely gained access to CCTV footage that would reveal everything anyway.
Natasha narrowed her eyes, processing the information. "And you trust her? Just like that?"
Dave nodded, a hint of confidence in his voice. "It's complicated, but I know what I felt. She's powerful, and she's got her own reasons for being here but I know she will never betray me"
"Sounds like a recipe for disaster," Hawkeye muttered, glancing at Natasha.
Natasha looked at Dave same with her hard expression as she asked " Where is she now?"
"Probably in some dark chamber torturing Fisk" Dave shrugged sipping his Martini.
"torturing him?" Hawkeye asked.
"they have some personal vendetta, you know like the Echo girl up there, Fisk is using her by lying, Fisk also wanted to use her but she declined leading him to attack her, at that time she was weak so she suffered heavily before I saved her, after that she begin to train hard to the point where she become a killing machine like today" Dave said, while adding a false story , its their fault they are not believing a real story.
Natasha looked at him and asked after some time " so, when will she return?"
"I don't now, probably after she broke Fisk fully" Dave replied.
"You know this carefree attitude of yours is not very convincing" Hawkeye said.
"I believe her and that's all that matters" Dave said, as he stood up and looked at them , " I am returning, and you know where you can find me" he said.
Natasha and Hawkeye nodded, and Natasha added, "Just don't leave without informing us."
Dave paused, turning to look back at her. "You don't order me around," he replied, a hint of defiance in his voice. "The only reason I'm even talking to you guys is because my father used to work for SHIELD."
Natasha narrowed her eyes, sensing the tension in his words. "We're not here to make demands, Dave. We're here to keep everyone safe—including you."
"I get that," he said, his tone softening slightly. "But I can handle myself. Just… trust me to do what I need to do."
Natasha opened her mouth to respond, but Fury's voice cut through, commanding attention. "Fine, but there's a program in SHIELD called the Avengers Initiative. It's a team designed to protect Earth from super-powered threats, and Trish could be a valuable asset. Will she join?"
"I'll ask her," Dave replied, his expression serious.
"Also, we still have your father's stuff. They'll be at your house by evening," Natasha added, and Dave nodded, as he left.
"I wonder if that girl will join us, she is powerful" Hawkeye said.
"The reason we are inviting her so that we can keep an eye on her, you Know Fury" Natasha shook her head as she said.
He left the room, making his way back up to the Fisk office. As he entered, he found two of Fisk's assassins lying unconscious on the floor, their bodies motionless.
While Bullseye is long dead, moving his gaze from him to other two he looked at them intently.
"Echo and Elektra" He mumbled as he looked at them, remembering about them.
Echo (Maya Lopez) is a Marvel character known for her exceptional fighting skills and the ability to perfectly mimic any action she sees, which makes her a formidable opponent. She has a complex history, often tied to her Native American heritage and her relationship with her father, who was killed by the Kingpin.
"She is like lady Taskmaster but she has a weakness , she is deaf" Dave thought as he remembered she was used by Fisk by lying Dare Devil killed her father.
Elektra Natchios, on the other hand, is a highly skilled assassin and martial artist, often portrayed as a love interest for Daredevil. She has a complicated relationship with morality, often straddling the line between hero and villain. Elektra's character is known for her deadly skills, and her backstory often involves themes of loss and vengeance.
Elektra was born in Greece and trained in martial arts from a young age. She developed a close relationship with Matt Murdock (Daredevil) during their time at college, but their romance was cut short by tragedy.
After witnessing her father's murder, Elektra's life took a dark turn. She became an assassin, working for various organizations, including the Hand, a mystical and deadly ninja clan. This path often put her in conflict with Daredevil, complicating their relationship.
Later, she acted as Lady Daredevil, stepping in for Matt Murdock whenever he wasn't available. Elektra was a complex figure—she was a woman still trying to figure out her own identity and purpose. In a world filled with chaos, she often seemed lost, grappling with what she needed to become.
Despite her formidable skills, there was a vulnerability to her. She had moments of clarity and strength, but there were also times when she appeared uncertain about her path.
"But now you both are mine," Dave mumbled under his breath, effortlessly hoisting Elektra and Echo like sacks of potatoes. He carried them with ease, ignoring the weight of their unconscious forms. As he made his way back to the car, he ran into Hawkeye and Black Widow. Both of them gave him strange looks—Hawkeye raised an eyebrow while Natasha's eyes narrowed slightly. The sight of Dave lugging two unconscious, dangerous beauties was not exactly common, even in their line of work.
Dave didn't bother to explain. He simply shrugged it off, continuing toward his car with the two assassins in tow. Diana, who had been waiting patiently behind the wheel, glanced at the new passengers but said nothing. Without a word, Dave placed the two women in the back seat and then climbed into the car himself.
"Let's go home," he said, his tone flat.
