Devil...

*Flashback continued*

She had not forgotten yet that what happened to Milo and who did it. After crying her heart out, she went to Kyra's house that evening and told her, "I want to meet Arin. Take me to his house." Kyra also didn't knew that what's going to happen because Kaya didn't behave like this ever before.

So, she asked sweetly,"Why, princess?" She answered very calmly but her eyes were showing the anger and pain inside her, "He is your boyfriend. He was driving the car which hitted Milo." Kyra knew about it but still she asked her to be more confirmed.

She took her to Arin's house and they went to his room. On seeing both of then, he smiled and said,"Welc..." But he was not able to speak further because Kaya took the hockey stick which was in Arin's bedroom and started hitting him with all of her force.

Kyra tried to stop her. And Arin just tried to defend himself because how could he hit back his girlfriend's most beloved girl. He also always treated her as little sister like his girlfriend did.

After few moments, she herself stopped and while breathing heavily she lifted her head to look into the eyes of the tall injured man infront of her with those fiery red eyes of her which can make anyone quiver in fear, the puffiness and black bags under her eyes due to lack of sleep and crying were making her look more horrible.

She pointed her index finger towards him, "Next time, be careful.Otherwise, i will kill you. Open your sh**ty two eyeballs to see while driving." She threw open the door and stormed out.

Kyra asked Arin,"Are you ok?" Arin smiled and said,"I know how to defend myself. Little hurt, no worries." He tried to act strong infront of her girlfriend keeping aside the fact that his elbow had turned blue and Kyra nodded whie saying, "Take care!! Apply ice or something. I will visit you but now i have to go." and she went behind Kaya. Arin saw both of them going.

A flashback of Kaya's red fiery eyes appeared infront of his eyes and he sighed, 'Huff!! She is strong. Does she have any devil inside her?.'....He touched his bruised elbow and screamed,"Aaaaaa!!! Very hurt, so much worries!!

Kyra took her to Kaya's house. She followed her and went straight to her room. Kyra told her to sit but she didn't listen and took her cricket bat to leave her room when Kyra held Kaya's wrist with her hand and asked, "You wanna kill him??"

Kaya turned her neck left towards Kyra and said softly,"He deserves a lesson." She swiftly took her wrist out of Kyra's hand and went straight to Neel's house who was her neighbour.

Kyra was so astonished because Kaya never disobeyed her. Seeing her going away, she couldn't move due to shock. Then after few minutes, she cried, "Oh my little girl!!! What has you gotten yourself into?" and she followed her.

Neel was sitting in his living room with her mom with slumped shoulders and upset face looking down at his feet. As soon as he saw her coming, he whispered,"Stay away,mom!!" She stood infront of them and said,"Good evening Aunty!! Don't come between us. It's our matter." In the next second, she held his collar and took him to his room and closed the room.

Neel's mom and Kyra were knocking the door loudly,"Open the door!! Kaya...Neel...Open the door." But she started hitting him reacklessly, "This is for teasing my Milo! This is for hurting my Milo! This is for letting him bear the pain for two days! This is for killing my Milo!"....and she continued hitting him till she fainted there while beating him as she hadn't slept since two days, hadn't eaten anything and also had cried so much.

Kyra and Neel's mom didn't hear any sound from room, neither Neel nor Kaya; none of them was speaking, they exchanged a questioning look and knocked once again.

Meanwhile, Neel whose whole body was hurting, he lifted Kaya who has turned pale and cold. He opened the door and said hurriedly, "Mom!! Start the car." Then his mom and Kyra helped him and took her to the hospital, which was Grandpa Rai's own hospital.

After one day, she opened her eyes and first thing she said was, "Milo..?!" She saw that a chubby boy with brown eyes and dark brown hair was sitting beside her; he had bandages on his body, his arm was plastered and small bruises on his arms were visible as he had worn a white polo t-shirt.

As soon as she came into her senses, she got furious again and tried to get up. But she couldn't due to her weakness, so her grandpa then laid her down.

She didn't notice her grandpa as her eyesight was still blurry and her head was spinning. She said with a cold tone,"What are you doing here? We were in you...? Where am i?" Then her grandpa told her about how she collapsed and she's in hospital.

She didn't argue further as her grandpa didn't let her.

After one day, she came back at home, still weak and wasn't eating much. Every evening, she sat in her garden beside Milo's small house and Neel watched her everyday being sad. Seeing the sad face of his friend who was like a family to him make him feel worse. He was regretting every moment when he teased Milo. He never meant to hurt Kaya or Milo but his small teasing for fun lead to yhe condition today. For Kaya also Neel was a friend, more like a family and it was more disturbing for her that due to her friend, Milo died.

Yes.... they both were friends. They both were neighbours. They both have attic rooms which were close enough that they could go to each other's room through window just by jumping to the terrace area of Kaya's home and climbing a ladder to other room. There was always a small ladder in each room.

During summer break, when Kaya's elder sister and her parents used to come when her grandma was still alive, she always shifted all her stuff to Neel's room and sneaked into his room every night. Her elder sister never liked Kaya, she acted all innocent infront of others but always made Kaya suffer when no one was around.

And Milo, he came home when he was a little puppy and Kaya was just 5 years old. She grew up living with him. After Kyra and Neel, Milo was her only friend. She went on walk every evening with Milo because he loved going to parks. Milo always slept in her room every night. He always waited for her to come from school.

So, in the absence of Milo a big part of Kaya's life was empty. Moreover, the only friend in his school was Neel and the other ones talked to her only when they need to, so Kaya never even bother to talk to anyone. Long story in short, she was getting all alone.

Sometimes, she used to go to park where Milo died and Neel always accompanied her; obviously by following her because he dare not to talk to Kaya. While she showed everyone that she was fine but she cried at night in her room hiding her tears under her pillow and Neel watched her from his room crying and didn't slept till she didn't fall asleep.

He was feeling so much guilty that he wanted to apologize to Kaya so badly but he just hadn't the courage because he knew if it was not him then may be Milo would be still with Kaya. He was ready to do anything if Milo could be again with her but somethings are really impossible.

Meanwhile, Kyra used to visit her often. Every evening, Arin bought for her Milo's favourite bread and dog biscuits and took her with Kyra to feed those bread and biscuit to the stray dogs and Neel followed them everyday. A whole year passed, but Kaya didn't talk to Neel or Arin even once.

The thing we all do is to expect. We expect things from everyone, even from ourselves. The expectations that we built in our mind, our mind nurture it with our emotions and beliefs on it and our credence make it a fake reality in our mind.

But when the reality in our mind didn't match with the real reality we face, it becomes tortmentous. Expectations which once gave us happiness, become the reason of our sadness.

Expectations came from emotions and emotions came from human nature. But we can't control our emotions, what we can control is expectations and their effect on us. Remember, an emotion is pure only when it's without expectations and negotiations.

The same thing was going on with Kaya, she expected Milo to live with her forever. And she was blaming others for this where as neither Arin nor Neel wanted that to happen, but destiny always had to find its way.

In their case, the way become Kaya, Arin and Neel for Milo's destiny of death. Kaya took him to park and let Neel to tease him, Neel opened his chain and Arin hitted him.

If there's a blame game, then with Neel and Arin, Kaya was also in with Milo. Nobody intended Milo's death, but it just happened. So if they continued holding grudges and guilt, they would never be able to come out of their past and will keep falling while walking onwards as life goes on; but if we walk forward while looking back we are sure to fall on the path.

Everyone does mistakes. The power lies to come out of those mistake; to ask for forgiveness and to forgive. No matter how a mistake happens, but the one who is guilty if he repents of his mistake and learn his lesson from it, then the main motive of mistake is completed.

Destiny is here just to teach the lesson of compassion in order to make a soul more better- the solitary reason of why a soul come on earth. And the one who doesn't learn his lesson, then devil is here to make him taste the hell.
