Chapter 1Ohh Shit!

On a dark stormy night with heavy rain and thunder with lighting booms at the sky from time to time and inside a small apartment bedroom.

A guy was sitting in front of a computer as he reads his favorite novels, as he scrolls down to click for the next chapter of the novel. A sudden pop up appears in front of him, it reads:

"Complete the Survey and Get the Rewards of your Choice"

"A survey? Alright, it's not like I'll lose something" the guy mumbles.

The guy accepts and a series of question appears in front of him.

[If you were given a chance to go to any world that you want, what world will it be?]

"Any world? Like those in the Novels? Now, that is interesting" said the guy smiling.

"Hmm... then I'll pick the Apocalyptic World with Zombies and monster.. Oh yeah and sent! Next one!"

[Then who would be the woman that you want to be yours from now on and how many girls would you want to be your wife/wives?]

"Huh? Wow, isn't this like asking me to create a harem? Tsk, tsk. The person who made this survey is simply a genius"

"What about model Kendall Jenner? wait..wait, I like Emilia Clarke too and Anna Kendrick..Wow, how could i forget about her!

"Amanda Lee, I like her the most! and not sure about creating a harem though" the dude started typing with that perverted look on his face, like his already imagining becoming Amanda's boyfriend.

[If you were given any abilities, what would they be?]

"A Sharpshooter and a Martial Artist!" the guy yelled, like he's already prepared for the answer.

[Last question, how would you like to die?]

[A. Killed by a Truck B. Killed by a Lighting Strike . Killed by a Heart Attack?]

"Now, that's some weird and f*cked up question. Anyway, let's see here..hmmm getting killed by a truck is too much like cliche thing, already overused. Killed by a lightning strike? Hmm..getting killed by heart attack? Who the heck made this f*cked up question? No! That sounds painful and horrible! Geez!"

"I'll pick lightning strike instead, it's way more cooler, maybe i'll be even able to control lightning, mwahahaha!" the guy laughed like a stupid idiot and he submitted his survey and on his screen appeared the words…

[LOADING....]

"What the heck? f*cking junk. Hays, I should buy a new computer tomorrow" said the guy angrily and the screen change to "All Preparations Complete and all your answers will be your Rewards! Goodluck!"

"Huh? What does that me-" the guy wasn't able to finish what he was about to say as a lightning strike burst his apartment window, hitting him on the head.

'Oh shit! I am soooo dead! Good thing that i'm not a virgin anymore though' was the guy's last thoughts as he fell down on the floor as he was consumed by endless darkness.

However, the storyline is great, and the development of characters and emotions between them are the highlights of the novel. I read this novel more than three times, and I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did.

Hello Fellow Daoist! If you're new, I'm sure you're here in the Review Section to see if the story is actually worth reading, right? Honestly though, the early chapters are really crappy especially Chapters between 1 and 20 or maybe even more. Why? Well, I created this just for fun so I never really had a plot prepared when I started writing this so I just wrote what ever ideas that pops out in my mind. What I didn't expect is that I would actually get a contract for it because you know~..the story was just out of a hobby, right? So to those new readers out there, if you could at least get past maybe around chapter 30 or 40? I could at least tell you that the story slowly gets better and better. After all, I'm just a noob writer with almost no experience in writing novels. And if you read past those chapters that I mentioned above but you think that story is still the same like it didn't even have a change? Then maybe it isn't your cup of tea after all, sorry. Anyway, best of luck to us! ^_^ Peace! \/ NOTE: For the last time! It was clearly mentioned that weapons bought from the [System] or weapons created after the purging are the only usable weapons and weapons after WWII is a no no. NOTE TWO: You would only comment about modern weapons being a plot hole if you just skimmed or didn't even read the early chapters at all. Important Note: I will delete reviews that just rants about the story flow in the early chapters because it didn't go what they wanted it. Please leave reviews with constructed criticism that points out mistakes in the story where it needs improvement. Keep in mind that the story was only written as hobby before it was contracted, so I just wrote whatever comes to my mind. P.S the Stronghold needed to be built in a place indicated by the [System] on his map, it can't be just built anywhere the MC wanted. God, I'm tired of explaining ****! Just read the fucking whole chapters from 1 to 10, all of it was explained there! So stop being a brat and write your own if the story doesn't go the way you wanted it!

I don't know if its just me but I kinda skim through the chapters rather quickly? but everything else so far in the novel has been truly amazing and its like one of my most favourite novels so far as its everything I love turned into one thing (Apocalypse, FPS, Base Building,Zombies and Leveling/stats.) also the character has some good stuff and is about to get even better things, but it still doesn't feel like its an OP thing that makes him invincible, along with the fact he seems like an actual thinking person, not a whiney teenage otaku or nationalistic grandpa. Combined with what in the future is going to be guns plus martial arts is awesome and I cant wait for it to happen.

Got to the last updated chapter just to give it a chance, I really liked the plot but it was poorly executed. Author does not explain the overall limitation on the MC and randomly throws them in out of the blue with no warning. Main character has no understanding of people, he randomly blunders through things trying to act cool but never considers the consequences. How he can gain respect for the way he executes his plans and wastes resources on things not needed for many chapters is poor planning. His overall powers are poorly explained and with 78 chapters you would expect to see him in the mid 30s level wise, he is still in the teens and that disappoint me. His stats also seems not to reflect what was written down in early chapters unless I have the timeline mixed up in my head. 50 days would equal 150 stat points from his passive ability, this seems really slow progress time scale but fast unending action when looked at what has been accomplished in short span of time. No time to consolidate all his gains and it just seems poorly planned out. Worth reading for people who can live with the plot holes, unrealistic MC and weird relationships.

If you create a MC that will make full use of a system, and show us his status, you better keep the scores consistent. And since you don't care to correct yourself, either for your MC status or your many grammar / orthography mistakes, then I will go back to other titles. Those are sometimes a bit more negatively minded, but at least they don't drive me nuts with major inconsistencies.

I feel like the author could have done a lot better job since the basic plot is very interesting and you can see the author improving with more chapters but after like around chapter 20 or so you just feel like the MC is kinda idiotic, the plot is interesting but I just feel like the author didn't do it justice.

Chronic deletion of reviews, pretentious author, horrendous writing. This author is a disgrace to this site. Can this even be considered a novel? It was so terribly written it felt like I was in a kindergarten classroom helping students edit their ‘essays’. All I can say is, there is no surprise that the author deletes reviews. How else would this novel have anything above a 3.0 without deleting them? This is definitely going in my roast reading list. Too bad you can’t delete that too, author.

Hey, it's a good story. And it's going pretty well. I just hope that you will continue with the updates. And that's all. And I want to say I enjoyed this first 16 chapters. Just I think the main character can be kinda pretty idiotic sometimes but I guess it's the part of the character.

It's just a bad piece of literature (if one can call it that). The grammar, the tenses, and the sentence structure is bad and needs revising. The objectification of women is bad and a dumb choice. The logic behind the system and the different things in the world is flawed and inconsistent. E.g guns made pre-WW2 era works but any post-WW2 gun does, somehow, not work. (+The systems guns work?) The principle behind them is pretty much the same for the two sides. The units of measurement is not well planned. In other words, I do not recommend you read this novel if you don't want to lose brain cells.

trigger warnings: sexual assault, sexism, cringe, and run on sentences. First, this novel doesn't deserve the high score it has. After reading Doomsday Pillars ( same author of Earth's Greatest Magus) I like kingdom building apocalypse novels. While I can forgive a few mistakes in writing here and there, the constant run on sentences make it difficult to read. Add spelling and grammar going out the window, and you've got a novel that feels like it wasn't even put through a basic word processor. Next, characters. MC is a typical OP dude, which I'm not against. And from what is being built in the narrative, a potential harem. Also not an automatic bad thing. But if your romance interests are literal prizes for quests who accept being kissed by a stranger they met not even a few minutes ago, I'm gonna have to call sexual assault. And no, having them resist at first then melt into the kiss doesn't count. That doesn't happen in the real world. The MC is cringe and bland. Even jokes about him being cringe fall flat. Let's not leave out the fact that he separated the men and women of the families he rescued to see if any of the men were "dead weight" by tossing them into the middle of a zombie apocalypse. Sure, he gave them sniper cover, but it really gave off a vibe of just letting them die till he remembered his new girlfriend might get upset at him if that happened. Even the men comment on this thinking it's fine that their lives are hanging by some random dudes want for his write in girlfriend. Did I forget that he literally wrote in some spam-esque survey for the situation of the novel and the love interests were just some celebrities he wanted to bang? Just "Who do you wanna be your girlfriend? Oh, XXXX celebrity cuz they are hot. Great! Here you go!" World-building is terrible. First, it was three months till the apocalypse. Then, it was 3 days. Then it was three hours. In total I think a little over two days went by till the apocalypse started. I say I think because it's hard to keep track with the terrible writing taking up brain space to decide what's going on. What could have been a great opportunity for setting up a novel where the MC has to be clever in gathering supplies, people, and other stuff to set up a good base is wasted. It feels like the author had an idea but didn't want to bother writing it. So we just get some random off screen reasons on why the timer goes down instead. TL;DR skip this novel. I've read better trash than this and still dropped those novels.

What I found most disturbing about this story are the long, never-ending sentences. I think this story was written by a ten-year-old with a sixteen-year-old libido. I like the theme of the story but can't stand the writing.

I like the idea of this novel, in the beginning it was enjoyable but currently I'm in chapter 97 and it no longer existing, when he found out the the royal family has more mutant he didn't pursue down to the better lab to get it's data and equipment, when he found out you can make your own skill without wasting zombie money he just ignores it, I especially hate in the beginning were instead of chosing weapons mastery he chooses the plane route I just thought idiot. In conclusion I wish you would up the MC's intelligence by a lot.
