"Breaking News: The meeting between the leaders of the current globe has been finished, and they want to make an announcement."

"Mr. President! Mr.President! We would like to know if the monster will invade us again."

"Sir, some say the monsters are man-made. Is it true?"

"Sir, will we have to use nuclear weapons every time in the future of potential invasion?"

President Niko raised his hand to stop the barrage of questions. After everyone fell silent, President Niko started his announcement.

"Dear world, we would like to apologize for the damage we caused by the use of nuclear weapons; we are deeply sorry about that. And today, I want to say something important that may change the very world we know of."

Everyone perked up their ears, and the flashes coming from the camera increased.

"The monsters that you saw are real and came through a portal from another world or maybe a planet, we do not know for sure. But we know that they are a threat to humanity. Also, you can see that normal or conventional weapons are mostly useless against them. We had to use nuclear weapons just to stop this disaster from further spreading."

President Niko then paused to let the information further sink into the minds of everyone around the globe. When he felt that it was enough, he further explained.

"But fear not! We have discovered a way to stop this, or maybe enter a new age. In the atmosphere of the earth, some kind of energy is being filled with. This energy is now called Vitality Qi. By harnessing this energy in the body, humans can gain greater strength."

Then the president showcased the power of it through Private Ryan, likw how he did earlier. The display of power elicited many gasps from the audience, including those who were watching.

"Through our test, we found that not only him but many others had gained this kind of strength. We don't know the future of it, but we know it has limitless potential. We after finding through the ancient relics, found a method to harness this power and globalize this method."

President Niko only lied this time because this method wasn't from ancient relics, they found it on the table of the meeting after the lights went out for some reason. They were skeptical at first, but after using it, they found the things written in the book to be true.

"Now, Hereby, I welcome the age of Superpowers!!" President Niko said with great joy.

This statement exploded throughout the world the moment it was announced. Internet, social media, news, school, office, cafes, and shop almost everywhere, people could hear the shouts of joy and pure excitement.

Young, and old everyone discussed heavily.

"Mom, I can be like Superman and save the world every time."

"Can it stop these old bones of mine from rotting?"

"Hahaha, watch me beat all of you into oblivion."

"Huh, I may awaken special physiques, so why are you daydreaming?"

"Oi, oi, can I use Bankai?"

"Bankai, my ass. I will gain stronger power than Bankai. Just watch."

Everyone from different ages and cultures discussed this with great enthusiasm.

At a local restaurant, in the east region.

Here, people are discussing it like everyone else in the world.

A waiter who was holding a tray stood alone and watched the news silently. The waiter was none other than Dark Lord itself. Because he had no money or a place to stay, he started working here as a waiter yesterday.

"Hey, waiter! Quickly give us the best beer we have ordered." Suddenly one of the customers shouted at Dark Lord.

Dark Lord quickly bowed his head and apologized. "Sorry, sirs. I will bring it right now."

"Waiter, come here first." Dark Lord was about to bring the beer but halted his track as a girl with the guy that ordered him, said something.

Dark Lord went to their table and said respectfully."Miss, what can I do for you?"

The girl didn't say anything at first but twisted her body and revealed her cleavage and her waist. She was trying to seduce him. "What is your name cutie?"

"My name is Alex Yuki." Dark Lord stated his name while blushing a little.

"Wanna come with us after work?" The girl gave Alex puppy eyes.

Alex rubbed the back of his head. "Sorry, sister. I am doing all-nighters today."

The girl grimaced upon hearing the word "sister" and said, "Okay, then go bring some beer quickly." as she started snuggling with the guy beside her.

Alex went away to get the beer while being embarrassed. Only to hear from behind. "What a virgin." From the guy that ordered.

And the girl to say."Not everyone can be a man like you."

While getting the beer, Alex smiled in his mind. 'Ahh, I missed the prostitutes of the mid-age fantasy worlds. They were such a sweet big sis.'

Then he went to deliver the beer and resumed his work as usual.

During the work, he saw the smiles and concerns of many. He nodded in satisfaction. 'The story is in its initial stage. After it is done, maybe in twenty to thirty years humans will get a stable foundation to set the stage for the main characters.'

'But first.' Alex touched his money bag in his back pocket and could just feel the light weightiness of it. 'I have to get some money to live.'

Alex sighed. 'Who told me to play this way? I am doing this because it will be super easy to earn money with my power, and I don't want that. That's the same as my precious lives. I also don't want to be famous.'

'Only this way I can have the thrill and the fun to go on.' Alex said as he sat outside on the road, tired.

Alex lit up a smoke and started smoking. But he heard something beside him. He saw the guy and girl that he served beer to earlier and got surrounded by three dudes.

It seems they will do something bad to the girl. Suddenly, the guy ran away in fear, leaving the girl alone.

Alex, with his dark magic, tripped the three dudes, and the girl escaped quickly.

Alex released a puff of smoke and thought. 'The biggest enemies of humans are themselves. Let me see how you solve this in this new age of yours.'
