Chapter 8 The Bombed Alvida

"Yes, yes... Master Magician, let's leave now!" urged one of the pirates.

"Quick, get back to the pirate ship!" The others followed suit, rushing back to their ship, the Miss Laboon Daku, adorned with a swan sculpture on the bow and heart patterns all around.

But amidst the chaos, Alvida realized she hadn't boarded the ship yet. She gripped the untied rope, watching her subordinates effortlessly jump onto their vessel with the help of the light body technique. Without a second thought, they left her behind.

Alvida, a plump and fearsome pirate captain, brandished her mace in anger. "You disloyal, life-threatening fellows!" she bellowed.

The sight of her subordinates abandoning her brought laughter and tears to the onlookers. Luffy, the straw hat-wearing boy, couldn't contain his amusement, while even Alan, usually indifferent, found a small smirk creeping onto his face.

The pirates, who had always feared and despised Alvida's tyranny, saw this as an opportunity to escape their wretched captain. They executed their plan flawlessly, leaving her stranded on the shore.

Alvida's face turned black with rage. However, the presence of the infamous "Magician" Alan kept her from retaliating against Luffy, the seemingly frail boy who had just embarrassed her. Instead, she turned to her submissive servant, Kirby, and asked, "Kirby, what did he say? Repeat it!"

Trembling, Kirby, who had been enslaved by the Alvida Pirates after being caught two years ago, summoned the courage to speak his mind. Tears streaming down his face, he exclaimed, "You are an old and ugly fat woman!"

Instantly, Kirby regretted his outburst. Fear of Alvida had seeped into his very core, and he trembled uncontrollably. But before Alvida could strike back, Luffy intervened.

Luffy rushed in front of Kirby, flashing a mischievous grin. "Let me take you back to the pirate ship, Auntie!" he declared.

Luffy's rubber-like arms stretched out, gaining momentum as they rapidly retracted. The stored elastic energy converted into a powerful impact. His palms shot forward like rockets, precisely striking Alvida's abdomen.

"Bazooka!" Luffy shouted.

Alvida's eyes bulged as she vomited blood, hurtling through the air and crashing into a distant pirate ship. She smashed through the cabin wall, disappearing from sight.

The impact was met with cheers from the onlookers. Luffy, his arms shaking, proudly proclaimed, "Not bad!"

Alan nodded approvingly, acknowledging Luffy's skill. Although Luffy was still inexperienced compared to other pirates, his Marine hero grandfather had subjected him to rigorous training since childhood, resulting in incredible resilience and a solid foundation.

Kirby, still in shock, stared at the scene in disbelief. He couldn't fathom the strength Luffy had displayed.

While wiping his face, Kirby exclaimed, "Luffy-san, you are truly amazing!"

Luffy, unfazed by the accolades, extended his hand to Kirby. With a warm smile, he praised, "You did great, Kirby!"

Overjoyed at receiving praise from such a formidable figure, Kirby grabbed Luffy's hand and stood up. He admitted, "I was scared out of my mind, but my dream of becoming a Marine gave me the courage to resist Alvida."

Smiling, Luffy reassured him, "That's okay. You're already a real man!"

But then, Luffy's eyes lit up as he remembered something. He gazed eagerly at Alan, demanding, "Where's the meat you were talking about? Take it

out, please!"

Amused by Luffy's obsession with meat, Alan retrieved a golden book with a captivating cover from his pocket. "Teigu·Universal Magic Book!" he proclaimed.
