Chapter 8: The Guardian's Intervention

Among the trio, the men on the right and left were 3rd-grade classified soldiers of the Malvani Clan, also known as the Devourers. The man on the right was named Amurazi, while the man on the left was known as Mirikazi. The third man, positioned in the center, was a 2nd-grade classified soldier named Ahamana.

Ahamana had always been a loose cannon when it came to his ego. He knew he couldn't win against the Sage of Justice, Samarth. Samarth was too powerful to be defeated by a mere 2nd-grade soldier. However, two 3rd-grade soldiers combined with a 2nd-grade soldier could unleash an attack strong enough to challenge even Samarth. With this in mind, he summoned Amurazi and Mirikazi. After gathering them, Ahamana declared,

"I've been longing to put you in your place, Samarth. Now, we shall defeat you!"

"It is simply not possible for a group of dogs to defeat a dragon," Samarth replied after a long silence.

This reply drove Ahamana into a furious rage, enough to bring tears of anger to his eyes. "I will kill you, Samarth! I will kill you!" he screamed.

Ahamana and his companions joined hands and began chanting, "Aura Manipulation Technique: World Destruction!" A powerful energy ball, so large it obscured the view beyond it, formed between them. With a final push, they hurled it towards Samarth.

As the massive energy ball hurtled toward Samarth, he remained calm and unmoved. Just as it reached him, Samarth invoked, "Aura Manipulation Technique: Infinite Void."

A net-like, space-colored energy emerged from Samarth's hand, enveloping the entire explosive ball. The net expanded, shimmering with otherworldly power, and absorbed the energy ball completely, rendering the attack harmless.

Seeing this, Ahamana's composure shattered. His face twisted into a hilarious mix of shock and rage, causing Arthur to burst into laughter.

"All that buildup for nothing!" Arthur managed to say between laughs.

Ahamana's anger intensified at Arthur's mockery, his fury now burning even hotter.

Unable to control his anger, Ahamana resorted to a desperate measure, attempting to detonate himself. Samarth swiftly realized Ahamana's intent and intercepted him by grabbing his hand. Employing a precise manipulation technique called Gravity Magic, Samarth subjected the trio to intense gravitational pressure, making it unbearable for them.

"Please release us," Ahamana managed to plead under the overwhelming force.

"Alright, if you want to be released, tell me how many people from the Malvani Clan are here and why," Samarth demanded calmly.

Sensing Samarth's willingness to negotiate, Ahamana quickly responded, "There are four of us in total: the three of us and one more."

"One more, you say? Name him," Samarth pressed.

"Ahankara," Ahamana replied reluctantly.

Hearing this, Samarth reduced the gravity's pressure and released the trio from its grip. With a snap of his fingers, he turned and returned to where Arthur stood behind him.

With a snap of his fingers, the trio vanished in a blinding white light, leaving Samarth and Arthur standing in the aftermath.

"We must hurry, Arthur. If Ahankaras are here, something dire may befall the city," Samarth urged urgently.

"Do you know who Ahankaras Are?" Arthur asked Samarth.

"Ahankaras are the group of highest order within the Malvani Clan, comprising eleven members. If one of them is present here, our situation is grave," Samarth explained, his voice tinged with concern.

They rushed to the city in a hurry to see if something was wrong. Upon reaching the city, Samarth immediately sensed a strong presence coming from the southern area.

"Arthur, you should go to the northern area and tell everyone to evacuate," Samarth instructed.

"What do you mean?" Arthur asked, confused.

"There will be a big problem. Tell everyone to leave the city as soon as possible. We'll discuss it more later."

Arthur didn't understand everything, but he agreed to the plan and headed to the northern part of the city. Meanwhile, Samarth went towards the south.

The scene shifts to the southern part of the city, above Arthur's house. In the sky, a man exuding a serious and powerful aura stood. His name was Amara, a member of the Ahankaras.

"What a shame," Amara muttered. "Such a powerful attack wasted on a small country. But then again, we are being paid handsomely." After saying this, Amara began chanting while holding his left hand out in front of him. "Aura Manipulation Technique: Black Sphere Ball." As he spoke, his palm filled with dark energy, forming a black ball. Around the ball, a ring appeared, resembling the planet Saturn. After holding the ball for a few seconds, he tilted his hand to the right, causing the black energy sphere to slip and fall to the ground. Three seconds later, a powerful blast erupted from that ball, destroying everything in the city except for the northern boundary, which remained unscathed. Everything else was obliterated.

At that exact moment, Samarth came flying through the sky and looked at Amara. Amara glanced back at Samarth, smiled slightly, and said, "Aura Manipulation Technique: Infinite Petals." As he spoke, his body transformed into trillions of pink petals, and he vanished into the air.

Seeing this, Samarth cried out mildly, "Damn it, he got away just like that."
