Time-Skip to 67 days...

Day: 68

The days go on like any day. Whenever the time flew by, it was at least 2 months, and the clans were doing fine. Rebuilding after a flood decided to swing by, thus destroying a lot of things, including some dens in the HollowClan, but then still going strong since they aren't weak, dens, the training grounds, and pathways are still under construction. "Mom, can I please go do a patrol now!" LightHeart asks very persistently, " Yes! Yes! Yes! Oh my goodness! You ask like every second in a minute! Which is starting to get annoying. " HeatherLeaf says while not getting angry at the same time. "Yay! Thank you, Mother, see you later", LightHeart says, "See you soon!" The mother says as she ponders a question on her mind, then walks over to the nursery to answer the question herself.

But while at the nursery, an average black kitten that's going somewhere to be an apprentice tonight. Falling into slumber with his own thoughts. But one's thoughts were easily disturbed. By a young, beautiful, caring queen that wants to wake you up for something. ""Hey." She whispers at him, not wanting to wake up other cats, "Hello?" Now she starts shaking him, and his mental dreams start to fade as he was gaining consciousness. "Hey, come on, time to wake up!" She says while shaking you faster, enough to wake you up. "What, what is it that you need me at this time of night?" As the black cat struck a nerve on the queen, regretting that he said that. "Oh, ho ho ho ho ho! You think it's dark out!!" She walks over to open the covers of the den. "Oh, I will show you what time is it!" Then she did something that the cats from the dark forest are scared of. Opening the covers. As she does, a blinding light fills the room, blinding everyone's eyes as the sun penetrated the dark room and then closes it back. "AUGH, MY EYES!" Another cat said, as his eyes were blinded by the lights, he ran outside, bumping into things. As the queen felt proud of herself, she walked back to the black cat. "Ok ok ok ok ok mom! Jeez, what do you want." As the black cat says defeatedly. "Now then, I got a question for you," she says calmly. "And what is it, Mom?" The black cat says while rapidly blinking his eyes, hoping for his night vision comes back. "Hey, can you still walk?" As you sit there, paralyzed in fear of what happened to your legs, one of your legs got caught in one of the branches, then another branch crashed onto the trapped leg, crushing the leg with full force. As you repeat what happen to your leg, your body started to shake in fear, as the pain was unbearable.

"No." You say as you start to get emotional, "No, I still can't Mom, I still can't." You say as flopping back into the nest that your mother made with moss, feathers, and sticks that have a slick, flat surface on them, so the sticks won't feel uneasy. "Well," she says. I want you to meet JaggedPelt as she waves at the medicine cat. "The medicine cat? What is he doing here?" The black cat says. "Don't worry about me, I'm here to check on your broken leg, just to make sure there are no infections. The medicine cat says while inspecting your leg. "Well, there is nothing serious here, looks like your leg is fine, it needs to rest on it for a little bit." The medicine cat explains. "But wait, will it be healed before th-" "Before the apprentice ceremony, yes, yes, your leg would be healed by then, but don't touch it, or else it's gonna take longer." As the black cat gets cut out by the medicine cat. "Ok, thank you JaggedPelt. For everything." As the queen says. "No problem, it's in honor to help the son of HollowStar," JaggedPelt says while he leaves. "You hear that, your leg is almost healed." The queen says while wanting to hug her own son, but knowing that she would hurt his leg even more. "So, you will stay here, and heal that leg, so sleep!" She says while she leaves the den. Thus leaving the black kitten alone with his thoughts. But yet, the thought of him being a apprentice bugged him. But he shrugged it off and went to sleep, being glad that his eyes weren't blinded for life.
