Chapter IV: LV. 3 Demon

As The Days Passed, Kazue had gotten some EXP. He had leveled up. It didn't do much. He even had to get to level 5 to evolve. He had no home. He usually just fell asleep on a tree. Naturally his stats increased.

Demons have infinite amounts of stamina, making them feared by all. He was fighting more than bugs now. He fought hostile animals. Mostly for EXP. Most give a maximum of 100 EXP. He had gotten EXP like that and as soon as the day began, he started his hunt. He started from a few bugs, to animals. In the end, he killed 17 bugs and 12 animals. Giving a total of 205 EXP. While today was easier than most days, he saw something new. It looked like a chimera. He used appraisal and it amazed him.

It was the first time seeing a reward like this. The stats showed it was beatable due to speed and stamina.

Soon again, Kazue smiled menacingly. He was going to use his speed against it in the end. Then he was into the fray as he leaped in, landing a flurry of punches on it for a hopeful amount of damage. It was good enough. He took -48 HP from it with those hits. Then he changed position so it couldn't hit him. He hit it every more for -76 HP. He kept repositioning and hitting it until it reached 3 HP, even a splinter could do the job. He leapt at it and punched it but felt a pain in his shoulder. When he killed the chimera, it used its tail to pierce him. He fell to the ground, poisoned and paralyzed. He was about to black out but before he did, a notification screen was shown.

"CONGRATULATIONS! YOU ARE A LEVEL 4 DEMON! All skills have leveled up. Your stats have grown..."

Kazue blacked out. He wasn't unconscious. He was in the void again. "Don't tell me I screwed up my second shot at life again" Kazue groaned. He waited 2 hours in there and he was let out of the void. When he woke up, he wasn't in the woods. He was in a church, strapped onto a table, next to two other demons that just growled. When he looked around, he saw a guy in white clothes, and three dozen people. The man in white just spewed all these prayers, saying his name was Akora, and said we will be free towards Kazue.

Eventually, he came towards one demon and said "You're free" and stabbed him in the head. Kazue was screaming, but his mouth was tapped. He went to the other demon and said "You're Free Now" and stabbed him in the heart. Kazue was still screaming, but then he got a idea. He smiled menacingly and got the tape off with his angled mouth. "GET ME OUT OF HERE YOU CRAZY MAN!" Kazue Screeched.

Everyone had gasped, Even Akora. "It spoke!" "How did he do that?" "He was being freed." The crowd was confused and Kazue couldn't care less "LET ME OUT! NOW!" Kazue screamed. He repeated this and eventually, he was let go. "ALL OF YOU ARE CRAZY!" Kazue said. He ran straight for the doors but someone grabbed him. It was Akora "his soul must be tortured greatly! We shall free him!" Akora preached. Everyone yelled in Happiness and Relief. Kazue got mad. He used hardening to harden his fist greatly and said "I can free you right now" punching him at full strength.

[FIRST HUMAN KILLED! 1,500 EXP GAINED!]
