Black Sun

With Kira in trouble, T7 and I waste no time in running back to the spaceport. Once there he and I take the elevators down to the first level. The second we step off the elevator we immediately hear the sound of blaster fire.

" Come on, buddy. Let's make sure we get our girl back." I told the droid. We ran into the shuttle area and immediately ran over to Kira who was hiding behind a wall from the blaster bolts

" Just in time. These guys get points for courage, but we're a little outnumbered." Kira told me.

" Nothing we can't handle. What's the situation?" I asked.

" There's more than a few trigger-happy thugs in that hall way. And the kidnappers are threatening to kill doctor Tarnis. But they might be bluffing. I'm not even sure they have him." Kira explained.

" I see. That is a problem. Do you think you can get around them, while T7 and I draw their attention?" I asked.

" I grabbed a field stealth generator from agent Galen's office." Kira replied.

" That'll do. While T7 and I take care of the guards you sneak around them. That way they won't be able to see you coming." I told the girl.

" Got it." Kira replied. She reached into her pocket and pulled out the stealth generator and powered it on, disappearing in an instant.

" Nice, I gotta admit. You look a hundred times better like this." I joked.

I felt something hard hit me on the shoulder. " Ass." Kira stated.

" Ow! Don't hit me because I'm right." I told the woman.

" Whatever, stay safe tough guy." Kira spoke before i assumed running off.

" Alright, you ready T7?" I asked the droid.

" T7 + Jacen = Good team." T7 replied.

" You know it buddy. Come on." I ran out from behind the wall with both blades drawn, I was immediately plagued by blaster fire. I rotated each of my blades and deflected the blaster bolts back at the thugs that were shooting and killed them. The only ones left were those with blades. The men rushed me, swinging wildly at me. I parried there blows easily. I kicked one man in his knee, breaking it and causing him to fall to the floor. I then spun around and deflected the oncoming thugs blade upwards while decapitating his friend. In one swift motion turned my blade around and thrust it into the man's chest just as he prepared to launch another attack.

With hi, dead that left only the ones on the upper level remaining. I ran up the stairs to the next level.

As I ran, I noticed that the shield door opened up.

' Guess, Kira managed to get ahead of me.' I ran up the stairs to see that Kira had already taken out a few of the men on the inside, but just as I arrived the leader managed to shoot Kira.

Kira's stealth generator broke, and she dropped to the ground.

The leader went to finish Kira off, but before he could, I used the force to push him into the wall, I then took my main saber out and threw it at the other two thugs, killing them, and then made my way over to kira.

I bent down and helped pull Kira up. " You alright?" I asked the woman.

" I'm fine. But stealth generator isn't. Shame I was enjoying that." Kira replied.

" Well, if it's any consolation we caught the bad guy at least." I told the girl.

" You're right. Isn't teamwork grand?" Kira asked.

" Yeah snips, you handled yourself like a true jedi." I joked.

" Wait, let me get that on holo for Master Kiwiks." Kira surprisingly joked back making me laugh. " But first, let's see what our friend knows about Tarnis." Kira replied.

I nodded and then we both turned and walked towards the man I still had pinned to the wall.

" Agh! Jedi scum. I'll kill you... Someday." The man spoke.

" Noted. I doubt it. But noted." I joked.

" No sign of doctor Tarnis, that kinda puts a damper on things." Kira spoke.

" Ha, we were the decoys. Now, you'll never see your precious doctor alive again." The thug taunted us in victory.

" Is that so? Give me a minute with this guy. I'll make him talk." Kira told me.

I looked at Kira and smirked. " Hey go for it. If you can't I will." I replied.

" Hey, I don't need to make him talk. Not when i can just read his mind." Kira spoke.

" Oh, yeah? Won't that kill him afterwards? I mean forcing yourself into someone Elses mind can do real damage." I told Kira, truthfully, we were both lying to the man, but he seemed to be buying every word so we both just went with the flow.

Kira bowed her head and pretended to use the force on the man.

" What? Stop that no! Get out of my head. Get out! The doctor is in the black sun headquarters! Salerr has him! Just leave me alone!" The pleaded.

Once he was finished Kira and I looked at each other and then burst into laughter.

" HAhahaha! You idiot! I can't read your mind stupid." Kira joked.

" What? you tricked me." The man exclaimed angrily.

" Hey, thank the stars. If she hadn't, you'd be dealing with me. And my methods are a lot more hands on." I told the man. I then turned to Kira. " The black suns are a big problem. If they have the doctor then he's in real danger. You and your security team handle this mess. I'll report back to agent Galen and let him know what's going on." I explained to the girl.

" Right." I then turned to walk away, but as I was, I stopped and turned back to Kira. " Oh, and Kira, watch your back." This mess just seemed to be getting stranger. I had a feeling that the good doctor wasn't so good after all, but I had no proof other than my gut feeling. " Guess I'll need to be careful. And watch my ass."
