Black Sun part 2

Having taken care of our objectives, T7 and I quickly made our way back to the Senate tower where we met with Master Orgus and Master Kiwiks along with Galen and Var Suthra. Just as I walked in, I heard Galen informing Suthra on the situation that had grown considerably worse. Not only were the planet prisons plans gone, but so were every other secret weapon the republic was working on.

" Our most powerful experimental weapons and black sun has access to them. How could this happen?" Var Suthra asked in a rage.

" Because they weren't properly secured. Again, General had we known, the jedi would have made proper accommodations for these plans. And we would have made sure that the security would have been better. We have maybe until the end of the day until those plans are sold off." I explained to the man. My choice of words didn't seem to make the general very happy as his eyes and green skin turned slightly red. Thankfully master Kiwiks spoke up and changed the subject.

" We must act quickly to secure these other weapons. Where are they?" Master Kiwiks asked.

" Three off-world research facilities. Minimal defenses to give them a low profile. They're vulnerable." Var Suthra explained.

" Master Kiwiks and I will split up and protect two of them." Master orgus explained.

" And I'll take the third." Galen spoke.

" And I guess, I'll go find the good doctor and take care of black sun. Anything else?" I asked.

" Kira, will stay behind to assist you. With Agent Galen leaving, her computer talents will be needed." Master Kiwiks explained.

" She can be impulsive but give her a chance. You two will make a great team." master Orgus spoke unnecessarily.

" I like, Kira. She's fun. Fun to make fun of. But seriously I'll be more than happy to have her join the party." I told the man.

" That's fine and all but be mindful. Kira struggles with emotional attachments as do all young Jedi. Be mindful of that." Master Kiwiks explained.

" Oh, don't worry Master. I'm sure it'll be fine." I told the woman

" If there is nothing else to discuss, then we should go." Master Orgus told Kiwiks. " May the force be with you." Master Orgus spoke to me.

" And may the force be with you old man." I joked causing Master Orgus to laugh.

" I'm not that old yet old friend." Master Orgus replied.

" I'll escort you to your ships my friends." Var Suthra spoke.

Master Orgus and Kiwiks nodded, and the two Jedi followed Var Suthra out of the room.

However, Agent Galen stayed behind to speak. " Before I go, I'm putting all of my resources at your disposal. There's a special tactical unit in Black sun's territory. Experienced security officers who have been fighting those gangsters for months." Galen explained. He then reached into his pocket and pulled out a holomap. " Go to these coordinates, talk to sergeant Nidaljo. He can help you rescue doctor Tarnis and get those copied data files."

" Thanks for the help Galen. But I know the Black Suns. I can handle this problem." I told the man.

" Very well, but the offer to help still stands." Galen replied and I nodded. " Kira is on her way. I'll get her plugged into our security before I leave. Good luck." Agent Galen gave me a salute and then walked away.

I sighed and then rubbed my face, the exhaustion from the long day hitting me. " All ways something. Seems we haven't had a rest since we arrived on Tython. I hope the rest of my days aren't so hectic." I said to myself. I grabbed my gear and headed out to the sub-levels where the Black Suns operated. I snuck my way past the initial security sector. Once inside I found myself faced with a slight problem.

" Damn, there's camera's all over this place." I cursed. " T7, can you handle this?" I asked.

" T7= Hack the cameras // Jacen = Protect T7." T7 replied.

" Got it. You put these guys in the dark and I'll keep the heat off." I told T7.

T7 beeped and rolled off towards one of the control panels in the Black Sun's headquarters. Unfortunately, the station had been pretty guarded. Seeing the guards, I leaned down and whispered to T7. " Let me take care of the guards, once I'm finished follow after me." I then looked around for a way to get near the guard station without being caught. I looked up and spotted rafters that led above the station and I knew that was my ticket over. I used the force to strengthen my legs and jumped as hard as I could, just barely managing to grab hold of the rafters above.

I pulled myself up and quickly crawled over to my destination. Once I was above the guards. I grabbed my secondary lightsaber and detached it from the main one. Seeing as my main saber howled, this one was better suited for the situation. I dropped down from the rafters and landed right in-between the four guards at the station. They each turned to me, and their eyes shot open. They reached down for their blasters, but they were too slow. I jumped up and swung my blade around, decapitating them each, and killed them all effortlessly.

With the guards taken care of, I looked towards the direction I knew T7 was and whistled.

Shortly after, T7 rolled over to and began working on hacking the security systems to the Black sun's base.

" Jacen = Quick and efficient." T7 spoke.

" Thanks, little buddy. Now, it's your turn." I told my little friend.

T7 went to work and soon disconnected from the terminal.

" Security offline." T7 spoke.

I smiled and rubbed the droid's head. " Good job, T7. Let's go finish this." I told the droid.

T7 and I stealthily crossed through the Black Sun's territory, avoiding the many gang members and patrol droids that the Black Sun's employed. And eventually we arrived at Salarr's chambers.

" Tarnis, we risked everything for you. Stealing those data files, faking your kidnapping... This is how you repay us?" Salarr asked the man in the robes.

I looked up and noticed that Tarnis was dressed like a Sith and in that moment, my gut feeling turned out to be true.

" You were compensated with enough weapons and armor to make Black Sun invincible." Tarnis replied.

" Invincible? There's a Jedi carving up my men. Luckily, he hasn't found the base yet. But we can only hide for so long. This is your fault, Tarnis. We never should have trusted a Sith." Salarr exclaimed.

" If a Jedi is coming for you, Salarr, it wasn't my doing." Tarnis replied.

At this moment I decided to make myself known, after all I couldn't have asked for a better set up. " Actually, Tarnis. You're exactly the reason, I'm here. I knew I felt something wrong with you Doctor. Didn't think you were batting for the other team though. Are you pitching too?" I asked the man.

" The name is Lord Tarnis, and I am not amused by your petty attempts at insulting me. I have no time for your nonsense, Jedi. Finish your pointless battle. Coruscant's fate is already sealed." Tarnis spoke before cutting the call.

" That just leaves you and me. You know Salarr, if you tell me where Tarnis is, I'll leave you alone." I told the man, hoping he'd listen.

" As if I'd tell you." Salarr replied.

I sighed and drew my saber. Salarr seemed a little confused on why it was so long, but he didn't need to worry about it for too long. I hadn't set off the alarms and I wasn't going to give him a chance to alert the others with blaster fire. I reached out and used the force to pull Salarr towards me, and just before he reached me, I ignited my lightsaber and drove it through his chest killing him.

" What a waste. I gave you the chance." I spoke and then I realized something. " Hey why does no one take it?" I asked. " I mean, I can understand the Mandalorians. Those guys are tough. But why do these street punks think they can beat me. It's like they crave death. but no not just any death, these idiots seem to have some kind of pool going on who can end their lives in the dumbest, most avoidable way possible." I ranted. I turned to T7 and looked for his answer. T7 just beeped and went on his way. " Okay, I need to call Kira and let her know what the blazes is going on." I walked over to Salarr's holo-terminal and activated it and called Kira back at the Senate Tower.

" Hello? Finally got you connected." Kira spoke.

" Hey, Kira. We got a problem." I told the woman.

" I know. We intercepted Salarr's Holo-call with Tarnis. I can't believe he's a Sith. But that's not the worst news. The planet Prison Prototype here at the lab is a fake. Tarnis stole the real planet prison." Kira explained.

" Blast it. Kira, trace that Holo-call we need to find Tarnis as fast as possible." I told the woman.

" Already on it. But we need you back at the senate tower. Kira out." Kira spoke before cutting the transmission.

I rubbed my hands down my face in annoyance and turned to T7. " Come on, we need to get back to the Senate tower. Once this is over I'm going to bed." I complained as we both strode out of the Black sun's base as easily as we walked in.
