Chapter 51

The Fleet above the Home world of the Ssi-ruu Imperium was nothing compared to the Royal Fleet directly under Alexander. Even with enemy reinforcements the Royal fleet just completely overwhelmed the Ssi-ruu Imperium who's technology while decent for a space faring race it was still way less powerful the other faction's in the Galaxy.

The battle lasted no longer than about an hour as the complete mop up of the Ssi-ruu Imperium above the planet was complete. But on the surface millions of soldiers and citizens had took up arms to defend their planet from the invader's.

Since the mop up above the planet was done Alexander had positioned his fleet in a blockade around the planet preventing anybody from fleeing the planet. He wasn't worried about any enemy reinforcements since nothing they throw at him will make him retreat and plus the bulk of their forces were defending their home world so they don't have much in the way of a fleet.

So for now Alexander would focus on the ground battle. "Admiral prepare the drop ships and prep the Spartans and send them to my Personal Dropship since I will be heading down to the surface of the planet" Ordered Alexander

"Very Well Your Highness it will be done" Answered the Admiral.

Alexander then proceeded towards the Hanger to board his royal drop ship which was just a regular drop ship but was customized with some defensive Systems and was slightly bigger.

While walking to the hanger Alexander could see that the entire ship was moving about as there wasn't a single person that was standing about doing nothing. Every Single person had a job to do especially since they were preparing for a full invasion of the Ssi-ruu Home world.

Once he reached the hanger he could see the Spartans all lined up with their respective captains in front of them awaiting Alexander's order's to board the ship.

Once Alexander was standing in front of them all the Spartans saluted in sync showing their military discipline.

"At Ease" Ordered Alexander as he proceeded to start pacing back and forth in front of the Spartans formation.

"Today Spartans we will be attacking the Palace of the Ruler of the Ssi-ruu and possibly taking him prisoner to end this petty war but not everything always go to plan so just be prepared for any surprises since we don't know what they have on the ground in terms of defenses" Explained Alexander

"Our Main mission is the infiltration and abduction of the Supreme Ruler of the Ssi-ruu while our secondary objective will be to watch out for any slaves that are in the Palace. This doesn't mean not to shoot them but to watch out for unarmed slaves who may or may not be enemies.

Other wise than that you are cleared to go weapons free as soon as we breach the atmosphere of the planet. Further more we will be the only ones attacking the Palace with some air support for cover as the rest of the ground troops will be attacking the other cities on the planet" Said Alexander as he explained the general plan that they would be undertaking.

"Now are there any question's" Asked Alexander as he received a silence from the Spartans showing him that they were ready for the battle ahead.

"Very well, proceed to board the ship and make preparations for departure" Ordered Alexander as the Spartans gave one final Salute before they left and started preparing to leave the ship.

It didn't take long for all the forces of the fleet to get prepared for the invasion. They finished up in nearly an hour or so and had launched towards the planet's surface.

Alexander had waited about 2 hours for the battle to get under way before he ordered the pilot to start heading towards the surface of the planet.

With Alexander was 10 wings of fighter's and Bombers and 4 other drop ship's which will take position outside of the palace to prevent any enemy reinforcements from going to the Palace while Alexander and the Spartans landed.

Once they breached the Surface of the planet the Half of the fighter's and bombers rushed ahead to sweep the area before Alexander's drop ship got close. It was to also clear up any enemy forces that were stationed outside of the Palace on the ground.

A few minutes Later Alexander's drop ship had passed the clouds as now the ground was in sight. But what was seen was a fierce battle between a ton of fighter's who were protecting the bombers that were bombing the ground troops.

The other 4 drop ships had broke off to head to their respective position's around the Palace. Each drop ship's contained 200 of his special ops soldiers with some light vehicles and 1k droids stored in the cargo area.

This would be enough to hold the outside forces back while Alexander and the Spartans made their way to the enemy Ruler.

On the Palace Walls the Ssi-ruu were panicking as approaching them was a massive drop ship and a ton more fighters. This was a problem since their own fighter's were getting completely overwhelmed by the enemies fighter's making them lose air-superiority.

And once the drop ship reached the walls the door opened revealing fully armored soldiers that jumped out of the drop ship and started massacring the soldiers on the wall.

The Ssi-ruu stood no chance as the Spartans pushed forward splitting up while entering the Palace. While Alexander who was by himself had just slowly walked into the Palace not even bothered by the bodies of the Ssi-ruu that he passed.

He slowly strolled into the Palace since by the time he get's there the Spartans will have already cleared all the area in front of him so there is no since in running and wasting energy.
