Ghost vs Rothschild

As the Americans retreated, The Ghost and Rothschild had been going at it.

Rothschild and the Ghost had been exchanging a series of blows each not willing to give up or give in to the other's advances.

"Can't you see it yet? I own this world! I own YOU AND THE AMERICANS!"

"Not yet you don't!"

The Ghost activates his twin prop fire funnel and engages Rothschild. The Ghost begins marching towards Rothschild, who is trying to shield himself from the fire. New World Order troops begin gathering around as their leader is flambeed before their eyes, all of them with evil grins as the Ghost is practically stand over Rothschild, flames melting his armor. Then, out of nowhere Leon flies in and stabs the Ghost in the back.

"Augh!"  Yells the Ghost in pain dropping to a knee before blowing Leon's head clean off his shoulders. Rothschild escapes and join the fleet heading to America.

"Onwards to America! Let's end this rebellion here and now! SO LONG GHOST!"

The Ghost pulls the knife out of his back and opens fire on the New World Order troops as he takes flight.

As he soars above the battlefield, the devastation is prominent. Landing where the Inferno and so many others gave their lives trying to stop a tsunami of New World Order troops from attacking the many refugees and soldiers trying to survive.

Surveying the land, the Ghost picked up the Armorers helmet then heard the screeching of jet engines.

"Oh no..."

The Ghost dropped the helmet and soared into the sky, realizing the jets were heading to the last fortress of the heroes....Ottawa, Illinois.

As the Ghost pushes his B-29 engines to their limit, thoughts begin racing through his mind, which quickly become reality. The Statue of Liberty was destroyed, everything they'd worked so hard to build was gone. As he touched down in Washington D.C, he was greeted by a dying Star Spangled Economist.

"Lyle, what happened?"

"They came, it was nothing like you've every *coughs* seen. Barbara's heart couldn't take it, so many of us tried..*coughs* to stop them."

"Did anyone make it out?"

"A few, they went to Ottawa, I was on my way their when Rothschild....did this to me."

The Ghost looked over his dying friend, blood ran over the hands of his armor. He clenched his fists.  "Rothschild will pay for this, I promise."

"Good, hurry to Ottawa, I....don't know...."

The Economist fell silent, the Ghost hung his head, sorrow and rage filled the void that once held hope and courage. The Ghost closed the Economist's eyes, he had passed, and his death was on the Ghost's hands.

His hands shook with rage, his eyes were bloodshot as he soared into the sky ready to tear Rothschild apart limb from limb. However, the wound he'd received from Leon hadn't stopped bleeding, and it was getting harder and harder to breathe as he flew.

"Come on Ghost, just keep pushing! Stay alive long enough to kill that bastard, make him pay with his life!"

The Ghost kept his adrenaline mask on to keep himself alert and alive. As he took a deep breath of the drug, he crossed into the Land of Lincoln, determined to finish this fight, once and for all.
