Shadow Over Ottawa

As the Ghost made his way back home, the others found themselves surrounded by Rothschild. The injured Watcher, Overlord and Juno were holding off a volley of attacks from Rothschild and his New World Order.

Liberty Bell had sustained heavy damage and was still up and around fending them off.

"Any word from the Ghost?"

"No Daniel, he's probably dead."

"Incoming rpg!"

The RPG forced everyone outside, in direct view of Rothschild and his army.

"COME ON NOW! YOU DON'T THINK THIS IS A PLACE TO RUN AFTER ALL OF THIS DO YOU?!?!?!"

Daniel and the others retreat closer and closer to the Reddick Mansion, a symbol like the Ghost, withstanding the test of time and rulers. All of them were praying for a miracle, all of them seeking someone who was to come and save them, but nobody came. Explosions went off all around them, and they began to realize, this was then end.

"It seems you have begun to realize just how fucked you all are." Started Rothschild. "For a long time I was just hoping you pesky kids would die off, slip into the madness of memory, slip into nothingness, but no, now I see it clearly. You all represent the American dream and values, all of you fighting, raging against the fury I brought down upon you. Never stopping, just shielding the fire of America, the life force that I need to snuff out in order to maintain control."

Rothschild laughs his his men raised guns to the remaining survivors of the Star Spangled Heroes.

"Now I see why you killed the President of the United States the way you did. Skeleton's, what is the word...Memes! That's it yes. You killed him because he threatened everything you all stood for. The Overlord, representing the courageous leadership of youth, Juno, representing the smarts of the youth, Daniel, the Star Spangled Watcher, representing the eyes of the youth, and yes, The Ghost of fucking Ottawa...representing the anger and pent up rage of the youth. Truth be told, Leon killed him, and I only wish I could've been there to witness his fall."

"NO! The Ghost wouldn't die at the hands of the traitor!"

"YES WATCHER! THE GHOST OF FUCKING OTTAWA IS DEAD AND WITH YOUR DEATHS... I will have killed of the American Dream, Freedom, Liberty and Democracy all with a wave of my hand."

Juno looked to the Overlord and the Watcher, each of them with a cold look on their face, ready to die for their country.

"Don't forget we have..."

"Yes, I know, the annoying American Automaton known as Liberty Bell. Be honest with yourselves, Liberty can't take much more of a beating, and neither can any of you, so please, do call her in, I want to finish her off, even if it is just to watch the hope drain from your faces, and your souls! DON'T YOU SEE!? You own NOTHING, I own EVERYTHING, I CAN AND I WILL REMOVE ANYONE WHO DARES THREATEN MY POWER!

Juno calls upon Liberty Bell, but to everyone's surprise, she doesn't show herself. Rather and eerie silence creeps over the small city, and then Rothschild's twisted laughter piercing the silence.

"HAHAHAHA! THAT'S JUST AMAZING! LIBERTY BELL FAILING TO RESCUE HER HUMAN COMRADES IN THEIR HOUR OF NEED!" he wipes a single tear from his eye and points at the survivors.

"Let's end this, take aim at their heads, I want to watch as the blood leaves their bodies."

As the soldiers take aim, a shadow looms over head, causing them to stop.

"I THOUGHT I ORDERED YOU TO FIRE!"

"Sir...Look up."

As Rothschild's eyes rise above the roof of the Reddick Mansion, they are met by the burnt silver paint job of the BPA-100, floating above the mansion, eyes glowing red and rifle aligned at his head.
