'Do I really have to?', Clark asked himself. Clark is a prodigy among other Kryptonians and he is smarter than the smartest person on Earth, in science and maths at least.

"Clark, I didn't see you in the bus. How did you reach before us", question Pete and Chloe coming behind him. Pete is a nerd in the school so he is usually bullied and Chloe is the reporter of the school. "I ran", Clark answered while laughing. Pete and Chloe snorted. "The heir of Luthor Corp is coming to Smallville and I have to write about it in the Torch.", Chloe stated and goes to the Torch. "Lex Luthor is coming to town?", Clark asked. "I think so", replied Pete unsurely.

"Whatever, let's go to class there's a new classmate.", Pete says while walking to class. Clark who is an 8th level intellect wasn't really enthusiastic about school. The El family were and is still a family of scientists. They will pass down their knowledge to their son and they have reached the 8th level intellect from their knowledge that they past down but still Clark has to go to school since he needs to know more about the planet. So he reluctantly goes to class.

"We will have a new classmate and she is a boy!", shouted an excited girl but Clark just sleeps without showing any interest.

"Mr Kent! wake up!", shouted the teacher angrily and says, "Today, we are going to have a new student. Please come in. His name is Rex Armstrong."

Clark was surprised because the new student is Rex. "Where do you want to sit?", The teacher asks. Rex pointed a seat near Clark. "Near Mr Kent? He is a bad influence. I think you should sit near Lana." said the teacher.

"What are you doing here?", Clark murmured. "This is so cool I can hear you from here! I will answer your question later." Rex murmured back.

Rex spaceship flew in a small place in Kansas near the place Kal's spaceship fell. Unlike Kal he did not go unconscious. He was really carefree and he goes to a place called Metropolis. After that he tries to blend in their society. He succeeded and searched for his friends.

Back at the Kent farm Clark questioned his friend if he has any lead on Zod.

"I don't. Zod really hides well. I can't find anything about him in the Internet.", he answer Kal's question.

"Then do you know where the others are?", Kal asked. "Didn't you look for us?", Rex asks annoyed of the questions. "I don't. I thought it best to look for Zod by not making him aware of us.", Clark answers.

"I can't find Kila or my brother but it was really easy to find Tela.", Rex answers. "What do you mean it's easy to find her?", Clark asks worried. "Oh, you don't know about Tela the youngest millionaire and genius?", Rex asks. "She is a freaking millionaire?!" Clark asks.

"She created the Al corp. Making many weapons and putting her family symbol everywhere in the town she stays like inviting Zod and his army to her.", Rex answered with a grumpy face and tone because he felt like his ego was being chopped by someone.

"There is a reason I stay here.", Clark told Rex.

"Why?", Rex asks curiously.

"After coming here our body seems to be indestructible but this is not true because I have found a green rock that can hurt me." Clark answered and throws a green rock at Rex who seems to feel pain just being near it. Kal then put it in a box.

"How is this possible?", Rex asks.

"I have studied it and found that it comes from Krypton so it is very rare in this planet. It seems to be a rock from Krypton that has touched Rao the red star. It seems to be on Earth for about 1000 years.", Clark answers.

"So what do we do with it. Should we destroy it or keep it?" Rex asks.

"We keep it of course. That rock radiates energy that is harmful to us. If it can hurt us, it can also hurt Zod and his army but remember they are rare so don't destroy then unless you really need to. It can also change the biology of humans so be careful or it might mutate a human." Clark instructed.

"Why are you talking like I already have one?", Rex asks. Clark then throws a small box to Rex. "Take care of the box. It's made of special metal." Clark instructed Rex again.

Clark and Rex heard a sound of fire from a mile away and ran to the place.

They saw a man shooting fire from his arms at a bald person but he dodged and shoot his gun that he took from his suit inner pocket at the man. The man dies and the bald man takes his phone and made a call and by five minutes a truck came and took the body. Clark and Rex ran back to the farm at Rex's insistence.

"We could have saved his life and solve everything peacefully." Clark scolds his friend.

"You think so! Kal, I bet that the bald man will not go to jail. You know why? Because he have money."

"Even then we could have saved his life." Clark refuted.

"We could and then we will have the people of this world supporting Zod and his army." Rex replied.

"I am sorry. I lost my cool.", Clark answered again.

"I understand Kal but we are not civilians we are soldiers of Krypton and for the good of Krypton we must be ready to let people die and kill. The bald man was also defending himself too and even if he wasn't he likely has control in the government of this country.", Rex told Clark.

Suddenly the door opens and Martha and Jonathan came in. "Who were you talking with Clark?", Jonathan asks looking at Clark who was by himself.

"My friend.", Clark replied. Then Rex come back in the house.

"Meet my friend, Rex." said Clark introducing Rex to his parents. "Rex, meet my adoptive parents Jonathan and Martha." Clark said introducing his parents to Rex.

"You trust them?" Rex asks in old Kryptonian. "I do", Kal answered back in Kryptonian.

Suddenly there was a knocking. Martha opened it to see his neighbor coming and asking them to go underground. "A tornado is coming!!" shouted the neighbor but he was hit by a plank that flew because of the tornado.

Clark immediately jump and flew to catch his father's truck and put it down. Clark then blew the tornado as hard as could and push it back to the way it came. Jonathan comes and take the neighbor to his car and drive him to the hospital.

"That is so cool!!", Rex shouted and start blowing the tornado making it move faster.

"Enough!", Clark told him to stop and flew to the tornado and fly in the opposite direction of the tornado's rotation diffusing it.
