Soul Land -Auxiliary System

Ning Rongbing, son of the former princess of Nine Treasured Glazed Tile Clan awakened a degraded martial spirit and was kicked out of the family. Along with his mother, he went to a different city and started to improve himself as a soul master to slap the faces of everyone who despised his mother about his birth. This was a fanfic of the novel Douluo Dalu by Tang Jia Shan Sho. The theme of the story follows the first series of the Douluo Dalu with some of my own elements. The world setting of this story was based on the donhua version of the novel: Soul Land and was dated to the years between the first and second books of Douluo Dalu. This was my first time writing fanfic so please forgive me for any mistakes and please help me improve myself with your comments and reviews. Chapters will be uploaded once every two days. Thanks for your support. You can also support me with a power stone as a token of appreciation. Thank you have a nice day.

Little Scholar primary spirit master academy (2)

The dean was an old man with long white hair and beard. He had wrinkles on his face but his eyes were still bright. Seeing the mother and son duo in front of him the old man was somewhat taken aback.

On the expressionless face of the old man hung a smile at the child and its mother.

Thinking it as a courtesy Ning Rongrong and Ning Rongbing greeted him politely. After hearing the reason for their visit the dean smiled at them again and handled all necessary procedures by himself.

After an hour of their visit the 'Little Scholar Academy' Ning Rongbing became an official student of the school. The old man himself took both of them around the school and introduced the rules and other important stuff.

In this school, the teaching was entirely different from other schools. The students aren't required to attend classes or lectures. They were guided as groups and each group has a mentor who acts as a care taker.

In other words, the children doesn't need to learn a specific set of standards in a classic manner. The children are allowed to explore themselves and clarify their doubts with their mentors. The mentors might guide them whenever the children needed them.

The academy also has rules in them and even follow them strictly. No harassment is allowed. No discrimination is allowed. Fights are allowed but only under permission and supervision of teachers. No one shall injure, bribe or threaten others with family background or other powers.

These were the rules of the academy that they follow very strictly. Even though the 'Little Scholar' school was not very famous due to being a primary spirit master academy they inevitably has a name in the surroundings for being strict with their rules. No one, not even the dean is allowed to break the rules.

Hearing the rules and other elements of the academy Ning Rongrong was very satisfied. Nodding heavily in excitement she smiled slightly with a trust in the infrastructure of the academy. She clearly knew about her son Ning Rongbing. It shouldn't be a problem for him to follow these rules so after a few hours she returned home... Alone.

Staying at the academy, this was the first time for Ning Rongbing. Especially staying without his mother. He really wasn't very comfortable with this but he have clearly agreed with this. Ning Rongbing wasn't a fool. Clearly knowing about the defects of his martial soul it wasn't a surprise for him that his mother had left him here.

It wasn't that he was worried that his mother left him alone. Instead, she had gone alone to find something for his development. Clearly as a clan princess she must have some connections or some knowledge about how to lift the limit of his cultivation but for some reason she thought Ning Rongbing must cultivate and have a good foundation.

It wasn't a false either. Without a proper foundation, even a heavenly treasure will turn into useless thrash. Knowing this Ning Rongbing decided to cultivate and improve himself even better.

...

After leaving the school Ning Rongrong didn't directly walk to her house. Instead, she wandered around the streets nearby. She looked lonely. At first thought, she looked to be wandering aimlessly but her eyes weren't in a relaxed manner. It was focused and was on alert but her body was moving in a relaxed manner without a drop of leaking soul energy.

A little distance away from her there was a shadow following her.

After deceiving the shadow by walking to the west and running to the east Ning Rongrong entered the house. It really was a bad day for her to be chased like that. A person walking in the same path can be ignored but a person following her cannot be ignored.

"Those bastards even found I am here!" Cursing loudly she drank a glass of water.

"This is where you live?" A cold male voice resonated in the room making Ning Rongrong spit out the water in shock. The voice doesn't seem to be any hostile but to come into this house how could it be not hostile?

Ning Rongrong turned around in the direction of the sound in shock. She made sure there isn't anyone following her. How could this person sneak into her house without even making a sound? To most of her knowledge, there isn't any person with this ability in her clan.

Wait...

She does know a person who can pull this feat. When she saw the shadow in front of her fists clenched and her eyes became a fire spitter. It was hostile enough to swallow the man as a whole.

She should have recognized him.

"None of your business..." She replied in brimming fury. Her eye rims were very red and her body was shivering constantly. Due to some unknown reason, her body also started to slightly turn red.

The man in front of her wasn't discouraged. His expression was sad and his eyes were lifeless as if they were as they are.

His salt and pepper combed hair and beard looked as if they were a disguise. Although they didn't look good they were perfect to hide his facial appearance but how could not Ning Rongrong recognize this person?

This person... Even if someone asked Ning Rongbing who this person is he will clearly recognize him as the interviewer in the _Little Scholar Primary Spirit Master Academy_. Yes, this person was unexpectedly the person who showed himself as a dean and interviewed them at the school.

But...

For some reason, Ning Rongrong acted as if she knew this person even before. She wasn't afraid of him but unconsciously her heart raced and her breathing become heavy.

"Are you well?" Getting an unconvinced reply the man asked her again.

"I said none of your business... Get away from my home now," shouting to the man, Ning Rongrong charged at him to throw him out of her house.

"No, no, don't touch..." The middle-aged man who was lifeless and lazy, like a cat meeting water became active and shouted but to his disappointment, a hand hit on his chest.

Puh!

Cough! Cough!

Spitting blood, the man struggled to stand. He coughed for a long time that he fell on all four. After a long time, he calmed but there were streaks of blood on his lips that ran down from his nose and at the corner of his lips.

For the whole time, Ning Rongrong stood like a statue. Her body brimming with fury became lifeless. Looking at the man she didn't know how to react. As she saw the man standing she hold him to the wall.

"What are you doing?" The man shouted again but clearly sensing a strand of spiritual energy getting into his body he let go of all his defenses.

"What? How can you?..." Ning Rong stared at him with wide eyes. Her voice wasn't the same as before; shaky and unbelieving.

The man smiled faintly at her not saying anything. Looking at him Ning Rongrong's eyes turned wet. Looking down she asked:

"What happened? Why are you like this?"

"Rongrong, you aren't angry, right? Now I am not any harmful..."

Just as the words escaped his mouth, Ning Rongrong roared at him:

"Are you insane? I am angry enough to kill you?"

Even though she shouted at him her eyes became reddish as tears flowed uncontrollably. Swaying she fell to the ground mumbling:

"Should you have to abandon me like this?"

Seeing her lifeless face getting even paler, the man was very afraid.

"Rongrong don't be angry. I..."

Before he could finish his words she shout at him:

"Why the hell are you like this? If you want to atone for what you did why should you have to abandon your child?" Saying this she closed her eyes and sobbed in disappoinment.

"My... my child?" The man was very shocked, falling to the ground.
