Soul Land -Auxiliary System

Ning Rongbing, son of the former princess of Nine Treasured Glazed Tile Clan awakened a degraded martial spirit and was kicked out of the family. Along with his mother, he went to a different city and started to improve himself as a soul master to slap the faces of everyone who despised his mother about his birth. This was a fanfic of the novel Douluo Dalu by Tang Jia Shan Sho. The theme of the story follows the first series of the Douluo Dalu with some of my own elements. The world setting of this story was based on the donhua version of the novel: Soul Land and was dated to the years between the first and second books of Douluo Dalu. This was my first time writing fanfic so please forgive me for any mistakes and please help me improve myself with your comments and reviews. Chapters will be uploaded once every two days. Thanks for your support. You can also support me with a power stone as a token of appreciation. Thank you have a nice day.

Little Scholar primary spirit master academy (1)

Anyone with a bit of knowledge knows what it means by twin spirits. Ning Rongrong clearly doesn't want her son to be a research subject so she asked him to hide the fact but also inwardly planned how should he cultivate this little pie.

Yes, she has to plan everything ahead as a mother for his safety. Even though the others might not bring any harm to him she clearly doesn't believe her blood clan to tolerate his growth. She should send him somewhere so he can hide safely.

After a lot of thinking both the mother and son decided to join Ning Rongbing at a Primary Spirit Master academy nearby. They spent their night with a lot of preparations for the next day which would also be the first day for Ning Rongbing getting a formal education.

That night Ning Rongbing slept quickly but a pair of crystal clear eyes looked at him amidst the darkness. Even though Ning Rongrong made the decision she still felt uneasy in her heart. Praying for her son to make more friends at the school. She didn't want the same thing to appear again.

Will it be the same as before? No! It isn't the Nine Treasured Glazed Tile clan and no one must know his identity right? But, won't his spirit sell him out?

She really couldn't bear anyone discriminating against her son. She already have experienced it once but she really didn't want to bear it again. She really was very curious about how Ning Rongbing could even be like nothing happened.

He was her everything.

After a big internal struggle, she slept very late at night. Roughly in the early morning.

When she woke up in the morning she had big eye bags hanging below her eyes. As a really smart son, understanding her worries Ning Rongbing teased her to cheer her a bit up.

...

In the distance, at a corner of Star Luo city was the 'Little Scholar primary spirit master academy'. Even though the name seems somewhat sketchy, two silhouettes arrived and walked into the gate of the academy.

A pair of mother and a son walk into the academy through its gates. At first, the watchman at the gate stopped them but after telling them about their purpose they were allowed in and the duo started to walk in the direction of the dean by the instruction of the watchman.

...

In one of the relatively large rooms in the corridor, there was a middle-aged man with fair skin. He had long hair and a thick beard with a mix of white and black imitating a 'salt and pepper' combo. He was sitting on a chair and reading something and also blabbering; looking like he was a researcher. While he was pondering about something suddenly he heard a knock on the door.

"Come in," the man said lazily as if he was uninterested but from the corridor outside the door, Ning Rongrong's body stiffen for an instant.

This tone! She knew this tone! Remembering a tone is not common as remembering a voice but this relatively looking-down-on-everyone tone brought out a face that appeared in her mind. Putting those thoughts behind her she pushed open the door and walked in with her son.

When Ning Rongrong and Ning Rongbing walked in the middle-aged man didn't even look at them and continued on with his study. Ning Rong could also see that this man was serious and sincere in his work but as she carefully looked at him she couldn't help but feel a shiver in her body.

Ning Rongbing who was standing very close to his mother naturally felt this shiver but didn't think much about it as he thought it was normal for a princess of a great clan to ask someone for a favor. Shifting his gaze towards the so-called dean, he carefully watched every action sometimes confused, sometimes feeling weird, and sometimes flustered.

After a long time, the man called to them, "don't tell me you came here just to watch me reading."

Ning Rongbing felt his blood boil. Is this man really the dean of this school? This shouldn't be right. His mother and he was standing here due to respect but this guy is taking it as a disrespectful act. How come this guy become the dean? No wonder this school doesn't have a good flow of students.

"Respected sir, I am here to admit my son to this academy." Ning Rongrong calmly replied. Her words were simple but they had a gentle and noble aura. Just by hearing the voice, the man shivered and slightly raised his head in surprise.

His surprised look didn't catch any attention from the child and mother duo because it only appeared for a split second.

Concealing the surprise he lowered his head and pondered something. After a few minutes, he asked:

"What is your name kid?"

"Ning Rongbing," realizing the words were directed at him Ning Rongbing answered without hesitation. But after hearing his name the middle-aged man's eyes had a pondering light in them.

After a few minutes, he asked Ning Rongbing to show his martial soul.

Without the slightest hesitation, Ning Rongbing raised his hand. A faint white light started to emit from his hands. On his palm, the light started to condense and within a few seconds, there appeared a dull, colorless three-story pagoda.

Upon seeing the pagoda the man's eyes dulled and he stared at the martial soul for a long time until it disappeared due to Ning Rongbing's inability to endure the soul consumption.

"Three stories? So it is a variant spirit of an auxiliary system?" he asked the boy.

"Yes!" Ning Rongbing replied confidently. The conversation might be simple but the meaning behind it was quite different. Realizing this Ning Rongrong left it for her son to handle the issue. This can be a test to estimate the confidence and other mental factors of incoming freshmen. The mental factor and the personalities of the children were large factors that could decide the growth of a person.

After asking a few more questions here and there the middle-aged man took out a sheet of white paper and turned it towards Ning Rongbing saying him to write his details.

But...

To his surprise, Ning Rongbing took another sheet of white paper from who knows where and handed it to the middle-aged man or the so-called dean. Faintly smiling at him,

"Looks like you really were very eager about entering into the soulmaster world. Seeing you have already prepared everything I dare guess you should also have known every procedure right?" As the man asked Ning Rongbing also nodded in agreement.

"Good. We need kids like you. Go to the room at the corner of this corridor and you will enter the dean's office." Satisfied the middle-aged man asked them to go to the dean's office.

'What the hell? They even have interviews for beginner soul master schools?' Thinking at the same time, the mother and son duo was dumbstruck. Without disturbing the man they both walked towards the last room at the corner of the corridor as per the man's instruction.
