Small Excerpts of Mine

There's a reason I haven't uploaded anything guys, it's mainly because I've written so many different stories and I don't know which ones to stick to. I thought that maybe uploading them here might give me the impetus to write specific one/ones if I know what my readers wanna see. Let me know which one you like and I'll post an update when I come to a decision. If you have any other ideas though, also let me know in the comments. if you wanna actually continue one of these stories, please let me know and we can discuss ideas/beta-reading, etc. and maybe actually start a community of writers together.

Doom, Of Arkania

Premise: A guy gets reincarnated as an Arkanian in Star Wars, he ends up becoming the SW version of Doctor Doom. This is probably one of the longest I wrote.

....

Let me tell you a story, a story of the constant battle between good and evil, of brave and wise Jedi and vicious and powerful Sith. Of soldiers, smugglers, and separatists. Of Rebels and droids, bounty hunters and beasts. Of Friendships, Failures, Betrayals, Secrets, Sorcery, and Love. Of Evil Empires and Hope-filled Rebellions and A story of a continuous struggle between the Dark Side... and the Light. A story where villains lurk and scheme in the darkest of shadows and heroes come from the most unexpected of places. Let me tell you the story... of the Star Wars...

My name is Viktor and my story started a long, long time ago... in a galaxy far, far away...

-------

A white-haired, white-eyed 5-year-old boy opened his eyes,

"This...This is interesting."

He glanced down at his arms and legs, noticing that he had one less digit on his hands, 1 thumb and 3 fingers. All of his digits had claws where nails should have been. He put his new...hands to the back of his head as he felt a very wet liquid wet his finger. Bringing his hands in front of his face again, he noticed the crimson-coloured liquid but found no crack leaking anymore...

Before the individual could continue pondering, a sharp pain assaulted his mind as an influx of memories assaulted his identity. Viktor Adasca, Last Son of House Adasca, Son to a murdered family, opportunities...Gone. These memories caused a cascade of emotions to fill his body, a deep fury emanating from his eyes. As he dived deeper into the memories, he understood a few things. He was an Arkanian, a very special kind, a pure Arkanian descended from House Adasca.

Arkanians were a species in Star Wars that considered themselves the pinnacle of evolution, and as such many were exceedingly conceited. Arkanian scientists had been specialists in genetic manipulation for millennia, and by the time of the Mandalorian Wars, the species had been split into many sub-species, making it hard to define precisely what a baseline Arkanian was. Most could pass for humans, though the purest of blood had pure white eyes, a tanned skin tone and four clawed digits on each hand. Additionally, their arrogance wasn't groundless as Arkanians were capable of seeing into the infrared spectrum, their eyes being extremely sensitive to sources of heat.

Additionally, It was also a common convention for Arkanians to undergo genetic manipulation of their bodies, enhancing themselves to be better than "lesser" species. Due to this, even the slowest Arkanian was able to memorize entire libraries of knowledge and calculate problems that even the Galactic Empire's most advanced supercomputers struggled with.

Understanding his new species' capabilities, Viktor grinned. Not even an hour ago, he was a young Doctor in the Army on planet earth, unfortunately, he ended up a casualty in a warzone whilst trying to perform First Aid on a wounded soldier.

Viktor sifted through all the knowledge he had on the Arkanians in Star Wars, making it extremely prominent in his mind as he glanced around,

"Fuck...it's kinda cold out here."

All that surrounded him was a frozen wasteland as the frigid wind kept whipping his exposed skin on the cracks in his robes. His dead body was abandoned out here on the frigid glacial surface of Arkania, it was covered with tundra and rich in diamonds and other precious minerals, which the Arkanians mined to further their off-world connections and master their technology.

He resisted the cold much better than any human yet it was still cold enough to permeate through into his hands and feet. Soon enough, his limbal rings became gold in colour as he scoured the distance in front of him and turn around.

"The largest uniform heat signature is in that direction" Viktor whispered to himself while shivering and beginning to shuffle away from the large city collection of heat signatures. He knew that if he went back to the city, someone would come to kill him as he couldn't protect himself effectively. After all, you'd have to be smart AND have big balls to successfully kill the final descendant of House Adasca.

Viktor's brown-robed figure slowly made his way into a small cave as he glanced around at the surroundings. It had an igloo shape to it as the furthest point from the cave was at a comfortable 4°C. He snuggled into the soft dirt, relenting that he finally found a place that wasn't ice or snow.

'Tomorrow, I should be able to reach that village or outpost or whatever it is,' he thought while glancing to his left, ' for now though I need to collect my thoughts and get some sleep.'

Mentally he began noting his current capabilities and formulating a plan...

Name: Viktor Adasca

Powers: Infrared Vision, Peak-Human Senses, Genius Intellect, TBD

.....

That night was the beginning of a very...very long journey for Viktor...

-------

The next morning, Viktor woke up and felt his stomach rumbling. He steeled his mind before walking out of the cave, feeling a less painful wind brush past him this day. His Limbal rings glowed gold again as he oriented himself in the direction of the small collection of heat signatures in the distance.

*shuffle*

After a couple of hours, a deep valley faced Viktor. He immediately crouched down as he noticed a large reptilian beast sitting on top of the place he noticed the heat signature coming from. He glanced around, seeking to find an entrance as the thing emitting heat was deep underground. Locating it, he smiled. After all, the large reptile was already dead, small bite marks littered its body where animals have taken chunks of its flesh as a meal.

He cast his mind to everything that he knew about the large husk of the reptile in front of him, A medium-sized...flying reptile, the Arkanian drakes were native to the frozen barrens of Arkania. Studied by arkanian xenobiologists, the drakes were revealed to be non-sentient and descended from the ancient Arkanian Dragons. They were covered in hardened scales which protected their bodies from a few common weapons, such as vibroblades. The drakes had extremely strong jaws that allowed them to rend flesh even from a Rancor.

As a cold-blooded reptile, it had to spend a couple of hours in the sky above, closer to the sun, to warm up. Basic Thermodynamics of an Ectotherm. However, once it is warmed up, it can dive at speeds of 90mph if it catches sight of any prey, causing it to gain the nickname "Swooping Death", it's interesting to see that even a predator of that size still uses the same tactics of Earth falcons.

Viktor sighed remembering the law of natural selection,

"Even the most apex of predators comes to fall one day, a shame it was simply because it couldn't find anything to eat..."

Viktor wrapped some of the cloth over his right arm. He began skidding down the sharp slope of the valley before his arm shot out and pierced into the snow, gripping any solid surface to slow himself down.

Swoosh!

A pile of snow collected at the bottom as Viktor managed to put his feet onto a solid surface. Recollecting himself, he began slowly trudging towards the corpse of the drake.

RIIIIP!

Gnash!

*Swallow*

Viktor swallowed the meat that remained on the carcass of the drake, his stomach being adapted to such things. Not long later, he wiped the blood off of his mouth as his eyes steeled, he moved over to the entrance to the heat signature that a living thing couldn't have produced.

He moved the drake's tail to the side, clearing any remaining snow away from...a hatch!

*Twist*

*Click*

Viktor glanced down at the ladders leading into a dim, metallic bunker-like area.

"Here goes nothing..." He whispered, blood still smeared over his mouth. He grabbed the ladders and entered what seemed to be an enclave. His eyes adapted quickly, noticing the drop in brightness. His Limbal ring ignited in a jade hue as he noticed his vision become green in colour...

"Night Vision as well? I must've inherited some pretty potent genes, huh?" Viktor let loose a very small smile. He looked around the unlit room for a switch before noticing a small scanner that seemed to have four imprints, complementary to an Arkanian's hand.

*Squish*

Viktor heard the sound of a generator starting up and soon enough, the lights in the room began flickering. Viktor perked one of his eyebrows up as he looked around at the details of the room. It seemed to be a large cuboidal training enclave. In the centre of the cuboid was a large training space, a glass window at the end of the room allowed Viktor to peer into the grounds.

Exploring the place for a while, Viktor nodded his head in conclusion,

"It seems to be an ancient site for Jedi training...Damn, I'd only ever watched the goddamn series, movies and played some of the games. Arkanians were never mentioned in canon so it's quite annoying to not even understand where Arkania stands socially."

Viktor concluded the structure of the building,

"It's a massive rectangular building that has two floors and a smaller rectangular training space in the centre. There are multiple chambers and I even found the library which I'm going to read in a moment."

.....

Viktor was in the maze-like, ancient library reading through a book titled 'History of Arkania'.

*Flip*

Viktor flipped the page before an old man with white hair and eyes emerged from a mid-sized orange holoprojector in the centre of the library. The wrinkled, fair-skinned elder smiled at the lonely figure sat in the middle of the library before introducing himself,

"My Name is Arca Jeth, a master of the Jedi Order. If you are seeing this projection, I am likely long deceased and you are the last arkanian able to operate this place."

Viktor continued flipping the pages in the book, completely disregarding the projection in front of him. After all, his most pressing matter is expanding his knowledge currently.

The hologram coughed causing Viktor's eyes to raise in annoyance,

"What do you want?"

The elder continued with his annoying smile,

"You are the first Arkanian that has come to this praxeum in the last...2981 Years. I wish to train you in the ways of the Jedi if you have the capability. Please place your palm on the scanner on the holoprojector if you agree."

Viktor's eyebrow lifted at the following statement from the AI,

"If you disagree, certain functions of the praxeum will be locked to you, such as this library."

A small smile graced Viktor's face as he closed his eyes and placed his hands on the table. Standing, he got closer to the projection of the old man,

"So, Arca Jeth, What happens if I don't have the capability to study your...Jedi ways?"

"You will have full access, you only need to find an Arkanian force-sensitive in exchange for letting you utilise the praxeum," it replied with a more mechanical tone.

Viktor's smile grew even wider before turning...twisted. It was a maniacal grin that complemented his frenzied eyes,

'I'll agree with you until I have advanced knowledge of computing...then I'll take all your goddamn wiring out.'

Viktor placed his palm on the scanner before feeling a small prick in his thumb. Removing his palm, he noticed that the scanner seemed to have taken a sample of blood as well.

"Testing...Testing...Testing... Test Complete. Result: Midichlorian count sufficient to begin training. Count: 20,180."

"Tch." Viktor snapped at hearing the results, at least if he had too low a count, he wouldn't have to do the training and could focus on learning.

"So, what is the name of my new, extremely talented student then?" The hologram smiled causing Viktor to think up a familiar second name so that he could hide his adasca surname. He replied with a completely serious face,

"Viktor, Viktor... Von Doom."

"Viktor Von Doom, huh? An... interesting surname definitely." The elder remarked, "Viktor, do you accept me as your master?"

Viktor nodded with a solemn face, thinking,

'I'll milk you for all the knowledge you're worth..'

"Very well, let us begin your first lesson, please, proceed to the training grounds Padawan Viktor," Arca Jeth expressed.

'Padawan Viktor...huh, it has a nice ring to it, at least, now I have an in with the Jedi Temple on coruscant,' Viktor thought, at least I'm not back in those bloodthirsty times.'

Viktor read earlier that it was currently 150BBY, therefore it wasn't that far away from Canon but at the same time, it wasn't very close either. Viktor sighed and picked himself up whilst massaging his temples, this was going to be a very long 15 years of training...

.....

Fifteen years later,

In a cuboidal training area, several ancient Jedi training droids lay on the ground. The decimated droids lay around a fifteen-year-old boy. Abruptly, a blue light flashed from the glass mirrors surrounding him, signifying the end of his training.

"Padawan, your training is finished...it is time for your final trial, the trial of courage.." The hologram of Arca in the corner of the space spoke as it glanced at the wrecked droids. A tick mark seemingly formed on his eyebrows before he laughed,

"and for the last time, could you stop vandalising all my goddamn droids!"

Viktor glanced back at the hologram with a small smile,

"Apologies master, they were just too weak...so what is the last test?"

The hologram simply replied to meet it back in the library,

"you're gonna need to pull out a book for this one..."

-------

In the library,

"Your final trial, the one of courage...is to hunt down one of the escaped Arkanian Dragons of this praxeum. Their signal should show up on your tracking device as soon as you leave the praxeum. Once you have brought at least two back alive, you will have passed your trial. Remember, violence should be the last option," Arca spoke with a straightforward tone, "May the force be with you..."

Viktor nodded before grabbing a book on the species and noticing the similarities between it and the drake species, he whispered to himself,

"I thought they were all extinct...but it seems that they can also be long-living or even.."

......

After these long 15 years, I was nearly ready to take this praxeum over...After all, I've made a cloak and armour out of the drake's body and bones mixed with some resistant metals. Soon enough though, I would get my hands on some Cortosis weave underlay. I'd learnt how to dismantle the computer systems of this place...I simply require one thing from this ghost, the locations of the dragons. Apart from that, It wouldn't be that much of a hassle to gain my knighthood from him in a legitimate sense, I could use it to study the holocrons at the temple and unearth the shrine underneath it.

Admittedly, that total recall of the arkanians was slightly exaggerated, It's more of a total understanding - perfectly recalling concepts and being able to apply them to problems effectively. I understood things the first time but, obviously, if I don't read over the topics at least once a year, I'd forget the exact details. Still, many would class that as total recall anyway. My talent lay in transferring concepts into reality. Nonetheless, I had about PhD-level knowledge in Biochemistry, Computer Science and Coding, Engineering and Materials Science.

Thinking about my current capabilities, I generated an imaginary 'Stats page',

Viktor returned to his personal quarters in the praxeum, a large set of two connected rooms. He had a large king-sized bed next to a desk with a small, antique lamp. Pages of ideas and concepts littered the desk along with pens and pencils.

The other room was at a lower level, green, metallic stairs led down to an area scientific apparatus in the corner placed next to, what seemed like, an interface screen. Additionally, a circular platform could be found in the centre of the room. The upper area seemed to be his living area and the lower deck seemed to be his workspace.

Pressing a button on a fingerprint scanner, the doors to the lower deck opened. The cameras, flashing with a green dot, seemingly began emitting a red colour. Viktor glanced at the cameras and smiled.

Viktor moved over to the corner of the room, opening a page on the interface titled, 'Costumes'. Scrolling through, he selected a design with a certain...cloak.

He moved over to the centre of the room and stood above the circular platform which was split into compartments along the outside. A mechanical clicking and whirling began emitting from below the platform. Viktor opened his arms out, T-posing.  Mechanical arms lowered from the ceiling, fitting Viktor with a black, metallic armour made of Durasteel alloyed with bone from the drake's corpse outside the praxeum. Viktor drew his hands back in before a forest-green leather chest plate lowered, over his head. It was reminiscent of a robin hood-esque design. Finally, a scaly forest-green hooded cloak draped over him with a golden chain connecting both sides of the cloak that covered his pauldrons. It seemed to be fashioned from the remaining skin of the same drake. Viktor smiled, seeing everything snap into place like it was meant to, he inhaled smelling the fresh metal and oil. Before long, two final mechanical arms lowered. One in front of his face, the other behind, holding two halves of a metallic mask. They both slowly connected over his head as Viktor closed his eyes.

(A/N: Viktor having an Ironman moment lol. The Suit is Dr Doom Ultimate Alliance 3 - Green Costume. Image here. Looks pretty badass.)

*Blink*

He opened his eyes and a HUD appeared within his field of view by directly reflecting onto his retina.

[Suit Fully Functional]

"Status Report," Viktor spoke.

[Electrical Systems: 100%  ]

  Sensor Systems: 100%

  Comms Systems: 100%

  Weapons Systems: 100%

  Multiplier Systems: 100%

Viktor laughed,

"It seems that I've really become Dr Doom, huh? At least I'm not some megalomaniacal tyrant though, I have better plans."

Not long later, the heavy sound of metal boots echoed in the corridors leading out of the Praxeum. Viktor reached the familiar metallic hatch before exiting the Praxeum once more, to complete his final trial. He lifted his hands behind his head, grabbing his hood and placing it over his head.

"Technically, completing this would make me Master Yoda's senior..." A curious thought appeared in Viktor's mind. Re-focusing, he lifted his wrist up, a part of the metallic armour retracted, like doors, revealing a tracking device. Four red dots appeared on a topographic map of the area.

"DoomBot Prime, patch the tracking device and its map through onto the top right of my HUD," Viktor's mechanical voice expressed before the map appeared in the top right of his vision.

"It's going to be a long jog to the first one, may as well get some exercise in..." Viktor spoke as formless energy covered him,

'Let's try that technique out again.'

'Force Valour.'

The formless energy seemingly seeped into his body, reinforcing it. Viktor began running at superhuman speeds, his body being augmented by the suit.

Boom!

An imprint formed on the ground as he crouched down,

'Force Bound'

He bounded into the air, something you would've thought impossible with the metal armour he was wearing. He circled his arms in the air as his legs did a walking motion, soon enough,

"I'm the fucking hulk Woooo!" He yelled from beneath his cold, Jet-black exterior as the wind blew his hood off and caused his cape to flutter in the air. Soon enough, he returned back to the ground before dashing for a couple more meters and leaping again. He covered nearly 300 miles in an hour.

Soon enough, he approached a group of fissures in the ice sheet, noticing where the dot pointed, he sighed,

"I have to go down into a creepy ice cave, don't I? It's always the goddamn icy caves in this universe..."

From the forearm within his armour, a green light began shining. A whirring mechanical sound echoed through the winds as a notification appeared,

[Grappling System Active]

He attached his grappling hook to the ground above before he began using his reinforced body to get down into the crevice. Seemingly, Viktor began flowing down into the crevice as his eyes flashed a gold colour. Noticing the hole that the overgrown lizard kept hiding in, Viktor grinned thinking about his next upgrade,

"There you are...come to Papi."

ROAR!

Abruptly, the ice parted as a large, four-legged, white-skinned reptile, at least twice larger than the arkanian drake, swung its forelimb claws at Viktor. Viktor shot upwards, out of the fissure at the sound of his grappling hook recoiling. A notification appeared,

[Arkanian Dragon Species analysed, weaknesses include orifices, wing underside, and Stomach.]

"The same as usual then...Let's get some mastery in this new technique..."

'Force Flight'

Flying high into the clouds with some instability, Viktor opened his palms out towards the dragon - trying to feel it through the force,

'Beast Control'

Viktor continued to try and calm the dragon that was rushing him with bloodthirsty eyes, seemingly furious at him for trespassing on her domain...

"So that's why you won't be calm with me, very well, I'll simply dispose of you and take them with me."

The dragon climbed into the sky and continued roaring as he noticed a red spark in its throat, causing him to start flying away again - maintaining his distance.

[Arkanian Dragon: Fire-Breathing Ability Confirmed]

He barrel-rolled to the left, avoiding a stream of superheated fire. He suddenly braked in the air, and the dragon rushed past him. He pointed his palms at the dragon, in an ironman-like fashion. Viktor had developed and included multiple small darts to be shot from his inner wrist on the armour's gauntlets. Each dart was a short-range projectile filled with poison. The victim, if hit, could only withstand the severe effects through sheer endurance or would end up succumbing to the poison. A small gap opened in the armour as the sharp point of the first dart glistened a green colour in the cold light.

"Increase dosage to lethal concentration," His unconcerned voice echoed within his metal helmet. The dart retracted momentarily, closing the gap in the wrist in his armour. The next moment, it opened and glistened a red colour instead.

[Concentration increased.]

Fyuuum!

four wrist darts ejected from each hand, all aiming at different vulnerable points on the dragon's body.

*Pik*

*Pik*

*Pik*

The darts pierced the targeted areas, depositing the deadly poison in the dragon's body. It would only require a little more time before the dragon dies.

Before long, the dragon began to lose altitude, falling lower and lower to the ground. Viktor returned to the frigid surface, glancing upwards at the falling figure.

Soon enough, the large menacing reptile returned to the ground. Flapping its wings, it caused the snow to shoot toward him. Viktor's palms thrust out towards the dragon, forcing the snow back at it.

'Force Push.'

He began stepping closer to it, uttering only a single sentence,

"Don't worry, I'll take care of them."

Suddenly, a green-black lightspear floated to his left as he rushed towards the Drake.

'Art of Movement'

'Force Speed'

'Force Valor'

Viktor threw the spear ahead of him, causing the dragon to swing its claws, defending against the spear coming at it. He seemingly did a double jump, over the dragon's claw before...

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

Viktor threw a left then right hook before Uppercutting the dragon's jaw - he then slowly returned to the ground, making a snarky comment,

"You're a durable one, ey? Still, Goodbye."

The Dragon's body fell still, only its eyes continued blinking, looking at Viktor with a surrendered look, she had done as much as she could. His lightspear floated closer to him,

"I'll make it quick."

He grabbed the spear in his right hand before grabbing the dragon's throat with his left hand, looking it in the eyes...

Whimper!

*Sizzle*

Viktor decapitated the dragon,

"Unfortunately, my name isn't Hiccup..."

.....

In the crevice that the Dragon emerged from,

Two small, blue and red baby dragons sat asleep within a nest next to a geothermal vent. Behind them, a green-caped individual abruptly lifted his hands at the two sleeping dragons. They suddenly roused and walked over to him, rubbing against his metallic leg causing a scraping sound. Viktor's eyes perked up thinking about the mother as a resource,

"Now that leather is what I'd call an upgrade..."

.....

Back in the Praxeum,

Arca Jeth's holographical eyes raised as a small device got ejected from the projector in the main hall,

"Congratulations my padawan- well now, Knight Von Doom. I believe you already know what you must do now, put your knowledge to good use now and attain your missions from the order that you have informed me about...May the Force be with you."

"Goodbye...Arca Jeth, you have been a very useful tool for helping me meditate," Viktor spoke as he pressed a button on his armour.

*Tock*

The lights in the praxeum all went out as the sound of the generator stopped. He pressed another button on his armour before the place rebooted,

"Welcome master to your enclave," A voice echoed around the area causing a smile to form on Viktor's face.

"Thank you, DBP. How are things looking around the place?" Viktor asked.

"It's very comfortable my lord, I have a lot of space so it's perfect," The new AI of this enclave spoke, "I've rooted out all remnants of the old AI and Arca Jeth, repurposed all the knowledge into separate information folders according to your specifications."

Viktor sighed with a smile,

"and that is why you'll always be DoomBot Prime to me, DBP, thanks."

He suddenly glanced at the seat in the middle of the hall, waving his hands, it suddenly got replaced with a large, ornate throne. Viktor's heavy steps echoed as he walked towards the throne and took his place making a final comment,

"Now, DBP, I need access to the Draay Trust's Systems. I need everything that they have on a subsidiary of theirs called...Adascorp. Specifically, the terms that they acquired the business on."

"Of Course, my lord," A final hum from the speakers echoed around the hall as DBP began acquiring the information that Viktor asked for. Viktor closed his eyes as he began meditating on his throne, searching the planet for any areas of interest apart from the capital.

....

A couple of weeks passed as Viktor continued improving the facility and understanding the state of Adascorp. Eventually, with the information that DBP gathered, he sighed,

"It would be easier to start my own business... I guess it's time for me to re-visit the capital."

......

Located amongst the world's freezing tundra and snow-covered mountains, Adascopolis was both the capital and a major corporate and financial centre for Arkania. Adascopolis mainly consisted of towers and tall buildings poking out of the snow-covered ground, the extremely cold and windy climate complimented its snow-covered terrain.

A white-haired, white-eyed Arkanian wearing a green suit complimented by a black shirt, stepped into the city as he noticed the architecture,

"This is what London would look like if you sent it into the future..." He mumbled to himself before wandering into a building with a sign indicating 'Qurzon Estate Agents.'

He glanced at the pristine white tiles and marbled surfaces in awe as he nodded, 'it's like living in a futuristic 5*  hotel...'

"Hello Sir, what can I help you with?" An off-shoot arkanian clerk spoke as she looked at Viktor's face.

'The laws... changed? I remembered Arca saying something about non-pure arkanians being kicked out of the capital...' Viktor smiled at the clerk before replying,

"Hi, I'd like to look at listings for any corporate Laboratories. The best you have."

"Would that be a compound facility or an area following a specific scientific field?" She asked as she began typing on her computer.

"The Best Compound facility you guys can offer," He replied.

....

A few hours later,

"Congratulations sir, Adasca Industries is now a verified, legal solutions business that is registered with the republic," a clerk congratulated the green-suited arkanian. Viktor replied with a simple smile before she excused herself.

Using his keys, Viktor opened the gates to a large facility. He breathed in and the smell of clinical products and clean areas assaulted his nose,

"This was definitely my money's worth, Arca had such a big treasury... Now, time to integrate the facility a bit more...to my liking."

The facility was in a more discrete area of the capital, allowing him a bit of peace. The colour scheme was of a blue and white tone. There were multiple chambers in the facility. It included an engineering workshop, a biochemical laboratory, a medical area that came equipped with hazard suits and a computing space.

Viktor moved over to the computing room before withdrawing a USB-like object and injecting it into the main computer terminal.

"Good afternoon master, DBP, at your service," the familiar mechanical voice echoed.

"DBP, clear any tracking and integrate this facility with the enclave," Viktor spoke, "and could you get some droids to construct my suit-assembling ring in the workshop."

DBP beeped, confirming his master's orders. Viktor moved over to the biochemical lab and opened his laptop, opening an anatomical picture of a midi-chlorian,

"Now...let's unearth your secrets, after all, you're feeding my life force into some cosmic will that isn't my own...we can't be having that now can we?"

.....

One year later,

"Sir, how long would this retreat be?" A droid with a mechanical voice inquired with a serious look.

"Hmm...10 years. No. Less than 10 years should do it, in that time, Doombot alpha will be the acting CEO." Viktor replied with a nonchalant look before a serious look appeared on his face, "DBP, make sure you take care of alpha...He's the key to our plan succeeding."

Sighing the droid spoke, massaging its head,

"Very well sir, I wish you well on your travels."

After a year of breakdown into Midichlorians and the boom of his business, Adasca Industries has become a planet-wide provider of biological and technological solutions. It's produced many household robots, known as I-Robots for the general public. It also produced a few vaccines and even had customisable genetic modification pods. Viktor decided not to genetically modify himself until he understands the secrets behind the force, as he knew from the series that midichlorians originated from a planet... as if they were parasitic micro-organisms.

Viktor sorted out many things with the help of DBP, causing his figure to become extremely mythical within the business as not many people knew him. However, he let DBP manage the general running of the business so that he could be left in peace to work on his personal projects.

Unfortunately, his research on Midichlorians came to a grinding halt as he needed one thing to augment his techniques, A mastery of the dark side. It would allow him to keep a closer eye on his droids, as well as take a more appropriate...destructive approach to his research.

From what he understood currently, Midichlorians tie your lifeforce, your ki to this concept called the living force. Essentially, this was a net, an interconnection of every living thing's Ki. This may seem good, but it isn't. It's this, that gives power to the concepts of the dark side and the light. It is influenced by the cumulative positive or negative force of people's actions and thoughts. This is why they can tap into these dark and light energies, they simply utilise the energy from others, not truly understanding that it isn't their own power.

However, the cosmic force is an energy that Viktor knows frighteningly little about. All he knows is that it has its own will, a mixture of these two forces gives rise to The Force. What he needs to do now, is to master some Darkside techniques to understand more about the connection between these two.

Viktor walked into his personal workshop, the droid was about to follow its master however, the gates rapidly closed shut behind Viktor

*Whirr*

*Buzz*

*Ziiit*

The large, heavy sound of metallic boots hit the ground. Looking around his workshop, Viktor made one final statement,

"See you in a couple of years..."

.....

Veeshas Tuwan, A sith library-temple where scholars compiled knowledge and carried out experiments. The temple was buried in the frozen wastes of Arkania that served the old Sith Empire as a repository of sith artefacts and writings. However, the temple was destroyed by the Jedi in a great war,

"Nothing really changes about war huh?"

Even though the temple was ruined, the most important artefacts and pieces of knowledge were placed in a completely sealed-off area, a shrine. Only scientific devices could detect the slight changes in the signals given off from that shrine.

Viktor flicked his armour-encased hand causing the debris covering the entrance to the temple to move out of the way. Blue lights emerged from the joints in Viktor's suit as he began floating down the corridor of the temple. With his arms crossed a notification appeared in his visor,

[Propulsion Systems, Fully Functional]

He stopped at a deep schism within the tattered ruins before glancing down,

"Take Me. Take Me. Take Me. Take Me...Kill.Kill.Kill.Kill.Kill.Ki-" A voice repeated from deep underneath the rubble at the bottom. Viktor's hands waved again,

"So Noisy..."

The rubble from the bottom of the chasm parted, like the red sea, revealing an ancient doorway on one of the sides.

Viktor hovered down to the doorway before entering a shrine-like area. Dark-side energy began coursing through the shrine, like a beating heart. Soon enough pulses of the dark-side energy began rolling out of the shrine and out onto the frozen surface of Arkania...

Viktor's body was under immense pressure during this time, not even having the capability to turn around.

*Flick*

His finger twitched slightly, giving him enough control over the force to close the doorway that lead out to the base of the chasm. Viktor spent the next couple of years understanding the dark side from remnant holocrons and well-preserved texts in the shrine. However, he wasn't quick enough to stop a few people in the galaxy from noticing the pulses of dark-side energy...

...

A few years later, in a dim, study-like room, an artistic Bith designer could be seen drawing the blueprints for an innovative starship. Suddenly, however, he dropped his pencil, clenching his fist,

"What a very interesting occurrence, the dark side never ceases to bring me joy..."

The bith designer picked up a comm device and dialled a number,

"My Apprentice...Go and search the northern dependencies in the colonies...I'm sure you must've felt the surge in the dark side..."

"Yes...Lord Tenebrous," The apprentice replied.

......

In another area of the galaxy,

"A Disturbance in the force, I felt. Stronger, The dark side grows. Investigate, we must," A small, green goblin began muttering around the children which surrounded him.

"What is it, Master Yoda?" Some of the children began muttering amongst themselves.

"Come, many changes will. Though, worry not, sent someone, the force has..."

He continued as he felt the force had sent a very strong female, wandering Jedi towards the northern area of the colonies region. He closed his eyes and whispered a few words,

"May the force be with you..."

Far away, a captivating woman looked out into the skies and smiled as the force continued guiding her.

...

Within the various facilities that Adasca industries controlled, assembly lines formed metallic, hyper alloy skeletons. As they continued down the line, they were coated with an organic layer, giving them a human-like appearance, and covering their red, blazing eyes.

At the end of the assembly line, each droid looked different yet still retained the same general arkanian features. They all retrieved a set of clothing and walked out of the facility, moving as if they couldn't see each other.

However, the final robot that emerged from the line had a less metallic look and looked exactly the same as a younger Viktor, of about 18. The droid retrieved some clothing and walked out, as if on strings, towards the workshop before sitting down mechanically. Soon after, an intangible force with a dark tint seemed to touch the droid, as if blessing it...but also keeping an eye on it.

[Doombot 212, Alpha, Activated. Name: Vikter 'Adasca' Von Doom.]

His eyes cleared up before noticing the papers in front of him,

"What the hell was I doing again?"

"Oh yeah, I was working on a way to get Adasca Industries to become intergalactic...and to reinstate the Adasca family as the royal family," he continued. Picking up his pencil, he began scribbling away at plans and ideas.

.....

A couple of days later a young woman walked into his workshop and with a sigh, disturbed him from his work,

"Mister Von Doom, Agents from the Bureau of Business and Finance have come to inquire about our facilities."

"Thank you, Clarissa, you may tell them I'll be with them in a moment," Vikter spoke, getting up and getting dressed in a more comfortable suit. It was finally time to take on the Adascorp, owned by the modern-day Draay Trust. The Draay Trust was a financial trust owned by the Draay family. His first step towards that was his business' ability to carry out Predatory pricing, effectively lowering their prices lower than any competitors. This would allow them to force competition out of business. As they are a larger business, they can take the hits to their profit. This forced a price war to erupt among the biochemical companies on Arkania.

However, official predatory pricing was illegal in Arkania so the obvious consequence would be that the relevant government body would be called in to investigate.

"Welcome Gentlemen, What may I help you with today?" Vikter spoke charismatically to the agents dressed in black suits.

"Hello, Mr Von Doom, we're here to investigate allegations of Predatory Pricing to do with your business. We'd appreciate your co-operation as we'd like to look at your finance department," The taller, less pure arkanian spoke, seemingly having a few sephi characteristics.

Vikter obliged and walked to his 'finance department' within another building, closely followed by the agents.

....

A while later, the agents exited with trendy new earpieces. Their eyes had a more dead look as they left, Vikter waved them off with a melancholy smile,

"Doing that is never going to feel good but...it's all for the sake of my peace..."

(If you've ever watched Dr Who in David Tennant's era, you'll get this if not, This'll jog your memory of a certain episode...earphones.)

Vikter returned to his job, managing the business activities. Not long later, the news showed that Adascorp was facing a lawsuit for inciting a price war within the biochemical field.

Vikter's eyes flashed another colour as he smiled,

"Everything is going according to plan..."

.....

Within the transport hub of Arkania, a young bith stepped out of a starship. He donned a red scarf that covered his mouth and skin flaps. His eyes darted around as he stepped off the ship and handed his identification to the authorities.

"Welcome, Mr...Skolen to Arkania. Please enjoy your stay here and make sure to wrap up warm," The woman welcomed the bith. The Bith simply nodded, replying with an abysmal tone,

"Thank you."

The young Bith moved towards a speeder renting service as he opened a device that seemed to be tracking a signal somewhere in the wastelands of Arkania.

Getting onto a speeder, he pulled out a holocomm device and dialled a number,

"Master, I am approaching the dark side occurrence on Arkania now."

"Very Good...Make sure to completely log what caused it. If it was an individual...make sure to test them for eligibility," The voice spoke across the comm device.

...

Viktor sat levitating within the temple-like area. After a while of his floating meditation, the sound of the outer entrance opening reached Viktor's ears. Soon enough, he heard an explosion from another area.  Eventually, he heard the sound of two sets of footsteps approaching him, One was slightly heavier and more rushed while the other was lighter yet calm.

.....

"What an interesting phenomenon..." A long, slender lady with elf-like ears, wearing Jedi robes spoke.

From her side, another voice echoed,

"That's what I was thinking...Jedi..."

The Jedi Lady was on guard before a bith wearing dark armour emerged from the shadows in the corner.

"Good Evening Lady Fay, May I suggest a truce until we figure out what this...thing is," The Bith Sith spoke. This was because they both noticed the weird signature of energy coming from the meditating, fully-armoured individual. Viktor was simply listening to their conversation, eyes closed. They began circling him as they poked and prodded at his body,

"He's in a complete meditative trance, it's as if his body has become a part of the force itself...but that's impossible unless..." Fay began mumbling to herself whereas Darth Venamis had different thoughts,

'This is one strong Motherfucker...'

The meditating figure slowly rotated to face both of them before one of his eyes opened,

"You know it's very rude to inspect another person's body without consent."

His body slowly turned to face them, unravelling his legs from his lotus position and standing on thin air. The two inspectors were gobsmacked at the existence before them, Viktor smiled ever so slightly.

"Hello to you too, welcome to my humble abode, please, make yourselves comfortable," Viktor gestured to the ground.

The beautiful woman sat down and the sith seemed a bit more apprehensive, he moved back to the wall, leaned on it and crossed his arms. The lady who sat down had a gentle smile on her face as she spoke straightforwardly,

"I am Jedi Master Fay, the force guided me here to understand this new innovation, what...what are you?"

Viktor mentally sighed, 'even after mastering both sides, you still wish to betray me...even giving my position away to the others, this is why I have to do what I must.'

Viktor smiled before teasing,

"Hmmm...Not telling."

The sith at the back looked displeased before he ordered Viktor,

"I also second her question, we want to know. So, answer her question."

Viktor's head slowly craned around to face the sith before speaking his name which was not divulged. Abruptly, an oppressive force fell on the Bith's shoulders, making him fall to the ground,

"Darth Venamis...You would do well to respect power when you face it... That is a tenet of you sith, no?"

Fay jumped up, igniting her lightsaber as soon as she heard Viktor's Sith-like statement. She tried to then lighten the mood,

"So what was your name again?"

Viktor smiled at the lady,

"At least someone's courteous, The name...is Doom. And to answer your question, young lady, I'm not affiliated with either of your religious, hocus pocus cults."

Fay deactivated her lightsaber as she got back into a comfortable position, Viktor floated down to the ground as his metallic boots stepped on the floor.

"But then what...why is the force that you channel something...unfamiliar," She leaned in as she seemed intrigued by the man in front of her.

He turned around before speaking in a deep, mechanically-altered voice,

"I am...nothing. However, It seems that both of your factions forget that the force existed long before the Jedi and the Sith divided it into Light and Dark. It will also be here long after these factions are gone...and So will I."

Doom began to move past the two individuals with his hand clasped behind his back as if he was an elder,

"Think well on these words, especially you Venamis...Now I will leave you two to your brawl."

The space in front of Doom began to ripple,

"Where do you think you're going? The Council would still like to talk to you though..."

Fay's words tapered off as her lips began to tremble seeing the spatial fluctuation in front of her.

'Spatial Transaction,'

Doom waved his hand towards Fay before abruptly disappearing from the room, the spatial fluctuation folded in on itself in a spiralling manner. With his disappearance, a large gust of air kicked up - blowing everything in the room away. Fay and Venamis were left in awe as they only got a glimpse of understanding of what that technique was, Venamis muttered,

"What a mighty Force that has been born..."

Fay could only simply nod her head in understanding as a blank look filled her eyes before she snapped back into focus.

.....

A/N:

Some may call what just occurred teleportation, but in essence, it's truly not. It was simply the swapping of an equivalent volume of air to the volume that Viktor possesses. Basically, He takes his volume and swaps it with an equal volume of something in his desired area...that's why the gust was produced in the end. You're squeezing a large volume of air into a Viktor-sized space which will cause an expansion- i.e. a gust or some sort of knockback force. That's why it is not as taxing as doing force flight or fold space.

Just thought to clear that up, ty for reading, and Back to the story!

*Slipppp*

Vikter fixed a plastic sheet above a sample of a yellowish substance on a slide.

*Screwwp*

He placed the slide under a microscope-like apparatus before sliding his chair over to the high-tech holo-computer as he began analysing the composition of a certain Species.

The Ysalamiri were tree-dwelling lizards about 50 centimetres in length. They're native to the planet Myrkr and are most known for their ability to repel the Force by creating a Force-neutral bubble. This ability evolved in response to predation by another native, wolf-like species who were Force-sensitive, The Vornskrs. An interesting piece of information that Vikter acquired was that if many ysalamiri grouped together, they would expand their Force-neutral bubble. This could be an expansion of varying distances, sometimes by kilometres. This indicated a multiplicative increase, not just a simple additive increase.

Vikter now began analysing the subcellular structures of this particular Ysalamir to see if it was any different to the previous 150 specimens that he had ordered. Vikter's Coffee-fuelled facial expressions indicated he was at the end of his rope for today,

"This last one...then I'll analyse the next batch of 150 tomorrow..."

However, before long the computer pinged a certain difference in this individual's genes.  A couple of minutes later,

"This specimen seems to produce a greater force repulsion than the average of its species...Maybe a mutation has occurred..."

He began zooming in on a certain protein around the heart of these organisms...

"How fascinating. Their heartbeat is synchronised with this bubble it seems... that's why the bubble no longer exists after their death. It would seem this organism's midichlorian genetics are unique. DBP, log this data please," Vikter said before taking himself to bed, "Damn it's been a long 8 years...But I'm nearly there..."

...

That night,

A heavily armoured individual approached the computer that Vikter was at. He opened the data that had been acquired by Vikter and began analysing the thousands of data points that were acquired before smiling,

"As expected of DBA," Viktor smiled under his metallic mask. He fluttered his cape as he began typing out a hypothesis and a method for the experiment that he was going to carry out. DBP would 'Suggest' this method to Vikter tomorrow to see if there would be any criticisms, this would also allow Viktor to monitor if Vikter has gained any true free will or consciousness.

"Make sure the individuals are the same age, male and force-sensitive... other control factors accounted for. tick. Independent and dependent variables identified. tick... Time to rest," Viktor spoke as he teleported again to the praxeum and rested on his throne.

....

"Master, the mission was a success but...I had a run-in with a Jedi..." An injured Venamis spoke to a hologram as he coughed a bit of blood. The injured bith seemed to have lightsaber burns on his body and his armour was scuffed from the length of the battle.

"Good work my apprentice but... did she see your face?" The deep voice spoke. Venamis shook his head at the hologram, "Meet me in Corellia for a report then I will task you with your next mission..."

Venamis nodded but now a doubtful look entered his eyes,

'All I do is exist to follow this man's commands, I wonder...is there anything larger to exist for than just...my father?'

From his room in his spaceship, He glanced up at the dark space now covering his vision, many different lights twinkled in his eyes as he sighed,

"The force will be here long after our faction and the Jedi die out? Maybe I can request a long-term mission to understand this nagging feeling..."

He closed his eyes and fell into a deep sleep.

....

"Master Yoda, the individual that drew me here was... something else. He didn't give off any indication of a dark-side or light-side influence. He seemed perfect...balanced. As if it was the natural state of the force," Fay spoke with an uncertain tone in her voice to the hologram of a short, green elder.

"Strong, this individual is. Understood both sides, he may have...A strong ally, we must make him, an enemy, He must not become," The hologram replied causing Fay to nod her head.

They spoke for a while, updating each other on the events happening around each other. Yoda eventually let her go with a word of advice,

"A problem, you have hmmm? Hard to keep silent, the heart is. meditate on this, you must mhm. May the force be with you."

Her uncertain eyes glanced down at her palms,

"maybe I do need to reassess my view of the world...That feeling...It felt like he was perfectly in resonance with the force..."

....

Vikter woke up the next morning with a refreshed mind. He began to come up with a plan for his experiment this morning before DBP suggested a plan that it had come up with.

"Where would I be without you DBP," Vikter sighed as he nodded in agreement with the plan that he had read, "let's start then, it's a good thing that we have established ourselves on the forest planet Myrkr."

....

Vikter walked into a large laboratory with floating cylindrical containment pods of panther-like animals that were sleeker. The vornskr is a canine beast that hunted using the Force. These vornskrs were native to the forest planet Myrkr and hunted the native ysalamiri which brought about the ysalmiri's force-negating properties.

Vikter ticked off the conditions of the Vornskrs as they were all of satisfactory conditions.

"DBP, let's begin..." Vikter nodded before a couple of metallic, extremely heated syringes began to rotate and drill into the skeleton of the Vornksr.

"Life Signs stable. Good," Vikter nodded in contentment. before pressing a button on the main computer terminal in the room. Suction cups with a metal pipe connected to them fell from the top of the pod, attaching to the vertebrae on the vornskr, injecting a colourless liquid into their bone marrow. Soon after that, a metallic sheet covered the glass tubes and a bright light could be seen flashing from within the pod.

"Master, The Manachondria experiment has been complete...some products may be of unsatisfactory quality though..." DBP spoke.

Vikter nodded as the metallic sheet removed itself and the Vornskr could be seen,

"DBP, repeat the experiment till constant results are obtained or until we run out of samples then grab me samples of each of their tissue types."

....

"It seems that the experiment has been about 40% successful, still, the desired results haven't been achieved. I've successfully changed the wave frequencies that those damned Midichlorians received and changed their structure to a more suitable, more stable format that lacks any connection to the force..." Vikter rambled before editing the experiment slightly, "DBP Proceed with another round according to these edits."

"As you command, master," DBP replied. Vikter's eyes blanked for a bit before they regained colour,

"and prepare a new estate for me near the Ice Blue Ocean outside the city...I still have some pets to be training."

....

A couple of weeks later, in a barn-like training facility, a small blue dragon nuzzled its head into a comfortably clothed Vikter who smiled at the actions of the small reptile.

"Raaraaa" the sound of another animal caused Vikter's ears to perk up, Vikter turned around before a small red dragon pounced on him, licking his face. This caused the blue dragon to start licking Vikter's face as well which made Vikter begin laughing,

"Okay, okay, calm down guys..."

He picked both of the dragons off of his chest and got up, smiling at the twins' antics. They both decided to jump up and take a shoulder each before a large siren began blaring which caused Vikter to smile nefariously.

"Come on boys, let's see if your training has paid off."

...

A Dark-cloaked, red-skinned zabrak lady sneaked through Adasca Industries' Experimental Facilities before crouching in front of a certain room.

"Well, well, well what do we have here? Mr Von Doom...tut tut-tut, your competition would love to see this..." she whispered to herself as she saw the large pods encasing the Vornskr bodies. She pulled out a camera and began to take photos from different angles of the experiments.

Unknown to her though, a man sat leaning on the wall behind her with his arms crossed, his eyes flashed a green colour before some surface-level thoughts entered his mind,

"Well, well, well what do we have here? Miss...Evangelica... tut tut-tut, your employers aren't going to like your failure are they?"

He stopped laying on the wall and the heavy sound of his footsteps began to echo around the facility as he stepped toward the dark-clothed spy. He flicked his hands, unknown to this Vikter- a blue light shone from his wrist - causing the spy to go flying into the wall.

*yack*

She coughed out as her eyes widened in surprise at the sudden monologue before feeling the force holding her up to the wall. Vikter smiled at her before sighing,

"You don't seem like an assassin so...who's your employer? Adascorp? The Hutts?"

Her eyes seemingly enlarged as he said the Hutts which confirmed to Vikter his guess. Still, however, she refused to speak about her employer's identity which caused Vikter to shake his head,

"you're not going to like the sense of what happens if you don't speak..."

She seemed adamant about her loyalty to the Hutts. Vikter continued to slam her head into the wall causing her to pass out before carrying her away.

.....

Dizziness.

Confusion.

Failure.

That was what Rosalie Evangelica was feeling. A disgraced noble girl relegated to becoming a corporate spy to take care of her younger sister. Bouncing from planet to planet taking any form of contract to make ends meet - even taking out the competition if it was a hefty rewarding contract.

In the corner of the room, a handsome, pale-skinned arkanian with beautiful verdant eyes smiled and her.

"Now I know you won't want to talk, but if you survive...I might have some use for you. Do well," Vikter spoke as he walked away from the prisoner. Abruptly though, he stopped before adding another comment.

"Oh, and keep the glass in good condition," Vikter spoke.

"What do you mean, it's just an empty room?" She questioned the man's sanity before the floor opened in a trap-door fashion. For a second, a flash of fear reflected through her eyes, her heart skipping a beat.

Boom!

Her body hit the floor below, kicking up some dust.
