Ch.60 Small Talk
Eiji arrived home.
He silently went in and looked for his master.
He found his master in the backyard where they had once talked and their now new training grounds.
Muri also noticed Eiji since he arrived.
He smiled at him gently when he saw his troubled face.
"So? How was it?"
"Well.. I didn't think about things that much, joining the department... now I kinda know why you always asked me whether I should join it or not."
Muri smiled and nodded at him.
"And? What was your choice?!"
"I.. I decided to accept it, but..."
Muri still smiling, looked at him and said.
"It's fine Eiji, in time, you will find what you really are looking for. For now, since your decision is to accept the department and its ways, then do so!
Just remember, although the department is all about killing, we wont kill indiscriminately, rather, the people that are targeted would always be someone that are heavily investigated by the IAI Department!
And the worst case scenarios are just the worst case scenarios, as long as you are careful then you might not encounter it,
In my time in the department, I had done it, but just once, so do investigate and plan your missions accordingly okay?!"
Eiji nodded his head.
"Good! Have you eaten yet?"
"Yes!"
"Hhaha good, I didn't cook for the two of us hahaha!"
Eiji smiled at his master.

The next day.
Eiji went to the department.
After a quick glance at the library clerk, he went to that specific door.
When he arrived at the open area, the others were already there.
"Oh! Eiji, just in time! We've also just arrived!"
"More like, we two arrived first and you just arrived captain!"
"Hahaha!"
Gautam, who greeted Eiji first, laughed at Marco.
He wasn't exactly late, but having his subordinates, two of them, be earlier than him made it a bit awkward, especially when Marco and him are in the same clan and was urging him to get up early in the morning.

Yami Marco, who stared at Gautam for a few seconds, he felt that it was a good chance to beat up his cousin who was very lazy!

"Well, let's go to the training grounds of our department!"
Gautam then walked.
He walked towards another large hallway.
"Oh! We should probably run! It's very far hahaha!"

Just after talking, he suddenly vanished and ran way ahead of them.
"Damn!"
Marco cursed under his breath and followed.
Eiji and Akai were also just a bit behind him.

They ran at full speed and even after a few minutes they still didn't see the end of the tunnel.
Halfway through their run, they saw that the walls and corridors of the hallway were unfinished and could see the unfinished dugged out walls.
They would even sometimes see some small stones break out of the ceilings.
The three of them just observed and continued to run.
After a bit more than an hour, they finally saw the exit of the tunnel.
*Swoooshh!!!
When they got out, they felt a breeze of fresh air.
They saw a wide open grass area, and there were also huge trees surrounding them.
"Well... What do you guys think?!"
The three were a bit shocked them they looked at the place where they got out.
They saw a small hill with the tunnel.
"This place is a bit more than a few kilometers away from the city.
This is our department's training grounds, it could also be the entrance and exit when we do our mission.
This is the west gate, there are still the north, the south and the east gates, which would correspond with the tunnel ways of the area we were before."
The three nodded their heads at Gautam.
"Well, you will know more in the future, first! Our first team training spar! Hahaha!"
