I walked out of the grocery store with two huge bags in my hand and opened the door of my car using the buttons on the keys. Dropping the bags into the passenger seat, I sighed in relief and moved to the other side of the car to get in. I turned on the ignition of the car and moved to put my seat belt on when I doubled with a sharp pain in my abdomen.
Great.
I turned the engine off again and hopped out of the car with a little cash in hand. I hadn't switched my phone on for a whole day so I left it home. Besides, it wasn't like somebody was gonna be calling me anyway. Noah could always ring up the landline or drop by. Getting back into the store, I greeted the cashier with a little wink.
His name was Ed, used to be my junior in school. He grinned back at me and got back to work. I scanned through the isles for pads and grabbed them quickly. My eyes fell on chocolates and I swear my feet moved automatically.
"Hi, I believe we've met before." A familiar voice chimed from behind me. Too familiar. I whipped my head around and barely acknowledged his face.
Hi there, traitor.
"No, I don't think so," I mumbled grabbing a few chocolate bars walking to the counter dumping everything in front of them. I asked Ed to do it faster. I really wasn't in the mood to talk to him or hear his godforsaken apologies. Ed looked at my angered expression and worriedly scanned all the chocolate bars and the packet of pads tossing them in a bag. I put all the bills in my hand on the counter and turned around only to find him standing at the entrance waiting for me.
I hate it here. Take me away god.
I rushed out of the door passing by him and ran to my car, dropping my keys while running.
"Why are you running Bee? At least hear me out." I ignored him opening my car and getting into the passenger seat but he placed his hand on my window. Ugh. I groaned and rolled my eyes.
"Bee. I'm sorry. Everybody is. We made a mistake. Come back home."
Home? Fucker's talking like I'm his mom or something. I gave him a dead bored expression and he winced. He opened the car door completely and crouched down so he was face to knee with me. I turned around to face him completely and he rested his chin on my knees. I looked away from his eyes and sighed exaggeratedly.
"I, I miss you." He said, releasing a shuddery breath. Oh so now he misses me after telling me that day that I was the one being rude when his Seok-Min-fucking-Hyung broke my faith in him into two.
"I don't. Now move, I gotta close the door," I mumbled as coldly as possible.
If me being around them was hurting them then I'd rather leave than be ran over again and again with their words and actions. I softly shoved him away.
Even if they wanted me to leave, I never wanted them to. That was why I cared about them always will. I could never want the boys hurt.
"No, you're coming home with me. We were being really stupid. Please come back baby," I scoffed lightly and folded my arms across my chest. I looked at him and he softly pouted. Being cute does not mean you'll be forgiven. Idiot.
"First, I'm not your baby. Second, if you wanted me to be back so bad you'd come looking for me rather than shooting your shot after running into me in a grocery shop. Third, my head's gonna blow up if I listen to one more of your hollow apologies so spare me. I'd rather bang my head into a wall than listen to you," I said, every word coming out harsher than it sounded in my head. Please just go back Jake, I can't handle this.
"Bee, just come home, we'll never let you go again, please. It was so stupid of us to act like that. We're just cowards who've always been looked after by Seok-Min Hyung and now you," He unfolded my arms taking me into his embrace but I pushed him away.
"Stop saying come home like we're family and you won't let me go again because I'm not really coming back but I definitely want to hear what excuses your brothers are gonna make," I announced and he stood up immediately.
"Get in." I said, closing the door and he smiled getting into the backseat of the car. I looked at him through the rear view mirror and swerved the car towards my house first, the pads weren't gonna be in their place on their own.
"We're going to my place first. I need to do something." He just nodded.
The car pulled up in front of my walkway and I gestured him to help me carry the bags and he grabbed one. I opened the front door punching in the passcode with one hand and kicked it open. Jake rushed to the kitchen quickly putting the bag on the platform and then proceeding to drink one of the packets of Juice from the fridge. I knew he liked that one. I rolled my eyes hiding a small smile and quickly headed to the washroom.
He immediately clasped back the second bottle of juice after he saw me come back.
"You can have it, I bought it for you guys only," I told him shrugging and he quickly took the bottle in his hand following me out.
"Bee, can you at least talk to me?" He asked trying to act cuter by whining.
"Nah, don't feel like it." He sighed nodding and we both got back into the car.
As soon as the car stopped in front of their place he hops out and rang the bell while I turn the engine off, lock and walk to the door. The door was opened a little and Jake ran in yelling 'she's here'. I reached the door and considered running back in the car for a second but the door opened completely and Young-Jae greeted me with his cute face.
I missed him. It's been two days and I already missed him. My baby.
"Angel, I missed you, I'm so sorry." He sighed reaching out to hug me but I didn't let him do it, I just gave him a tight smile in response.
"Bee? Is you really here?" Kyle asked cutely. His English was so cute, he made little mistakes sometimes but that's okay, we forgive him because he's cute.
"Hi bun," I said softly and he smiled. He had never hurt me. He was just shy and didn't talk much.
"Come in, we'll talk inside," Young-Jae said gesturing his hand in a welcoming way. I stepped ahead and passed by him slowly. He turned his head to look at me and so did I.
Oh, how I missed his cologne on me.
