To Soul's surprise, the dragon did not respond. He was expecting to insult him in some way, but that was not the case. The dragon let out a loud roar, sending a piercing noise into Soul's ears, distracting him for a second. The dragon used this chance to bite at Soul, who barely avoided getting his legs removed. Soul looked at the dragon in surprise, smiling. "So, you want to play this game? Fine then, you dug your own grave with this battle." Soul responded, lifting his hands into the air. "I'm not going to fight you. You want to hit me? Go right ahead! I'm not stopping you." Soul told the dragon, who looked at him curiously. The floating humanoid wasn't going to attack him? This would be such an easy kill.
The dragon quickly spun around, flicking its long tail at Soul. The sound of bones breaking wracked the air, yet no sound of pain came from Soul. The whipcrack that wracked the skies should have at least elicited a reaction from him, yet no noise was made. The sound of silence quickly filled the air as the dragon looked around, trying to find where Soul had gone.
Only when the dragon looked at its tail did it realise what had happened. Soul was covering the dragon's tail, taking the form of pure Corruption. He had turned his body into Corruption the second the dragon hit him, allowing him to encase the dragon's tail with his own body. The dragon tried to shake Soul off but to no avail. Soul was tight on there, and he wasn't planning on letting go any time soon.
The dragon took a deep breath, a fire liting inside of its stomach. It was going to try and burn Soul off using its flame breath. Soul quickly spread up along the dragon's tail, trying to get away from the flames before they even came out. Crimson flames erupted from the dragon's mouth, lighting up everything around it. Soul watched as he went further along the dragon's tail, seeing the scales become encased in flames. However, to his surprise, the Corruption did not catch on fire. He honestly thought he'd start burning and have to think of another plan, but looking at what just happened gave him some more confidence.
Soul spread even quicker, moving to the dragon's main body as he rushed to cover the dragon as quickly as possible. After all, he didn't know what he could do with the dragon covered like this. The dragon tried to claw at Soul to get him off, which helped him spread further. Soul corrupted the claws on the dragon, covering himself in them to make this process go by quicker. he could have just used God Eater to absorb the dragon, but that wasn't what Soul wanted to do. Soul wanted to see if h could obtain the dragon as a pet. After all, if they didn't exist, it'd just be a cool thing to have to show their power with. If they still lived on this planet, that'd mean that Soul would be able to prove that their unnamed kingdom was not to be taken lightly.
Soul quickly covered the dragon's body, speeding up the Corruption the further he went along. The dragon let out a roar, trying its best to remove Soul from its skin but to no avail. As the final parts of the dragon's head became encased in Soul's Corruption, the dragon fell still and silent. It was as if it had died while it was standing.
Soul's mind was transported to a small, black room. It was as if the sun had been destroyed. Soul looked at his body. It was Aaron's, but not his version. It was Aaron's personal form of his own body, which Soul wasn't really surprised by. After all, he just inhabited Aaron's body. Soul walked forward, trying to find something in this dark void, only to come across a ball of light. Soul walked up and touched it, trying to see what it was. As his hand pushed inside the light orb, a voice rang out in his head.
"Hey, what's the big idea, huh?" The voice asked, booming through Soul's ears. "You should have been killed by that tail swipe!" The voice complained, causing Soul to smile. The dragon was acting like a child that had rage quit a game. "Why? Angry at me because you lost, even though you're a dragon? Seriously, get a grip on yourself, and stop acting like I've killed your family." Soul responded, his hand splayed out inside of the orb. Plus, I could destroy this orb if I so wished, so why don't you tell me what the fuck you were doing in that city, huh? You came crashing down without any reason, and now I have to deal with this."
"Fine, you want to know the reason why? I was commanded to. Some guy came up to me, nearly taking my life away from me, and told me that unless I killed you, he'd cut my head off. Now, I don't think you realise this, considering how you got here, but people, or dragons, can't live without their heads because it commands the body. Now, I'd rather kill you than have my head removed from my body. I like having my head attached to my spine, thank you very much." The dragon told Soul, stabbing thousands of small spikes into Soul's body. Small amounts of blood fell from each hole, making it look as if he's been shot by thousands of tiny bullets.
"So, if you wouldn't mind dying real quick for me, I'll be able to live on, and you can go on your merry way to hell!" The dragon exclaimed, trying to stab an enormous spike into Soul's forehead. The weapon was the size of his whole skull. The dragon let out a laugh, commanding the pointed object to attack Aaron. And, when it hit his head, shards went flying everywhere.
