Uncontrollable images began to emerge in Qin Shuang's mind.

Her fair face quickly blushed a deep red.

She forcefully shook off He Zhiyao's hand, grabbed a pillow, and threw it at him,

"He Zhiyao, go to hell—"

Then she jumped out of bed as if escaping, and ran towards the washroom.

Not until she had locked herself in the washroom, turned on the shower, did the redness on her face start to fade. Instead, it grew hotter, and she couldn't help but close her eyes. She hastily took a shower, got a bathrobe, and wrapped herself up tightly.

She then hid in the bathroom for a while longer, making sure her face was no longer so red, before she quietly cracked the door open just a slit to peek into the bedroom.

He Zhiyao was not in the bedroom.

Qin Shuang sighed in relief.

She stepped out of the door.
