Chapter 8: I, Who Came From the Magic World
The bounty on Tiger's head was much higher than the 230 million Berries in the original storyline, showing just how intense the fire Chu Yang set was!
The Navy hadn't yet sent anyone to wipe out the Sun Pirates, all due to the massive losses sustained by Mary Geoise. All manpower was immediately allocated to post-disaster reconstruction.
This was a blessing in disguise, giving Chu Yang time to grow and the ability to protect his own safety.
Time flew by.
About a month later, the Navy finally came after them, and during this time, with Jinbe's help, Chu Yang successfully learned Armament Haki.
Out in the vast seas of the New World, the Sun Pirates found themselves completely surrounded by five Navy warships.
The enemy came in full force, and the crew knew that today would be a tough battle.
Everyone, including Arlong, showed no signs of fear. They were all genuinely ready to fight the Navy to the death.
No Fish-Man would ever allow their spiritual leader, Fisher Tiger, to be captured by the Navy.
As the battle loomed, Tiger suddenly approached Chu Yang and said, "I didn't expect that by keeping you here, I'd actually be causing you trouble. If anything happens later, you should take a small boat and leave."
"Except for you, everyone else on this ship is a Fish-Man. They can escape without a boat."
Chu Yang glanced at Tiger but didn't reply.
If things got bad, he would indeed leave, but before that, he would go on a rampage.
He couldn't take revenge on the Celestial Dragons for now, but he could still vent his anger on the Navy.
Beside them, Jinbe said, "Brother Tiger, we absolutely won't leave you behind and run away."
Tiger looked around. Everyone shared the same attitude as Jinbe. Seeing that his persuasion was futile, he could only focus on directing the crew in battle.
In terms of firepower, the Navy had an overwhelming advantage over 90% of the pirates.
Therefore, before any close-quarters combat, a barrage of artillery was always the standard procedure.
The five warships completely sealed off all five directions of the Sun Pirates, and then the cannons fired all at once, with a deafening roar.
"Defend against the cannonballs! Otherwise, our ship will be done for!" Jinbe shouted, diving into the sea. Using Fish-Man Jujutsu, he grabbed the ocean currents with his hands as if they were tangible objects.
With a forceful pull, the currents swirled into a powerful water tornado.
With an overhead throw, Jinbe launched the water tornado, which created a fierce water curtain on the side of the ship, blocking a large number of cannonballs.
However, the other side of the ship wasn't so lucky—it was wide open, with no protection at all.
Some of the more reckless Fish-Men even tried to use their own bodies to block the cannonballs to protect the mast.
At the critical moment, Chu Yang appeared, clapped his hands, and began forming seals.
During this time, he hadn't just been learning Haki. He was also extracting chakra daily and training in Wood Release.
Chu Yang was no longer the rookie who had just escaped from the Holy Land. Now, he could even perform some difficult ninjutsu.
Chu Yang activated Wood Release, and giant shields made of intertwined trees and vines quickly grew from the sides of the deck, covering most of the ship.
[Wood Release: Tree Wall Barrier]
Cannonballs rained down on the wooden shield, causing sparks to fly. Surprisingly, the wooden shield was incredibly sturdy, withstanding the barrage of cannon fire and only leaving a few small cracks.
"I underestimated the power of Wood Release!" Chu Yang sighed in relief.
He had already mentally prepared himself for the giant wooden shield to be destroyed by the cannon fire.
"Well done, Chu Yang!" Tiger shouted in delight, "Everyone, Brother Chu Yang has blocked the enemy's cannon fire! Let's figure out a way to get the ship moving and break through their encirclement before fighting!"
Even though the Navy had exhausted their firepower on the wooden shield, the disparity in numbers was still vast, and jumping into close combat was still not ideal.
The Sun Pirates couldn't afford to fight the Navy while trapped in the encirclement.
Jinbe leapt back onto the ship, glanced at the Tree Boundary Wall overhead that was protecting the ship, and said, "Brother Tiger, we can't raise the sails right now. We'll have to control the ocean currents to propel the ship forward."
Tiger nodded, then he and Jinbe moved to the stern of the ship.
Standing on either side, the two used Fish-Man Karate to harness the force of the water to push the pirate ship forward at high speed.
Chu Yang didn't remain idle either.
Using Wood Release, he created a pair of giant spear-shaped rams at the bow of the ship.
As the pirate ship broke through the encirclement, the giant rams smashed into the warship in front, splitting it in two.
The severed warship, like the Titanic, slowly sank into the sea, and the Navy sailors fell into the water like dumplings.
Cheers erupted around Chu Yang!
After successfully breaking through, Chu Yang deactivated Wood Release. The crew hoisted the sails once again, and Jinbe took the helm, skillfully distancing their ship from the Navy warships.
Tiger walked over to Chu Yang, patted him on the shoulder, and was about to say something when he noticed that Chu Yang seemed dazed.
At this moment, Chu Yang's consciousness was being drawn back into the soul palace through that mysterious fog.
The Chu Yang from the Naruto world had been waiting for some time.
And there, another figure appeared on the empty throne!
It was another version of "himself"!
Naruto Chu Yang joyfully walked over to stand face-to-face with Pirate Chu Yang, and the "New Chu Yang" sitting on the throne also approached.
Once again, the memories of the three were shared.
After a while, Naruto Chu Yang and Pirate Chu Yang stared in surprise at the newcomer!
He was Chu Yang from the Harry Potter magical world!
Magic Chu Yang had just received his invitation from Hogwarts during the holiday. He hadn't officially enrolled yet and was still just an orphan in a children's home.
Magic Chu Yang said excitedly, "At first, I didn't really want to go to Hogwarts. Although I yearned for it, I was also scared I wouldn't be able to handle it. But now, I'm not afraid anymore."
Naruto Chu Yang nodded in agreement, "I totally understand how you feel. When I first crossed over to the Warring States period, I was scared to death. Even though there were opportunities, there was even more danger."
Pirate Chu Yang said grumpily, "You two should be grateful. I was strung up and had a hot iron pressed against my chest. Do you even know how much that hurts?"
Naruto Chu Yang and Magic Chu Yang both shivered, having already seen the memory from Pirate Chu Yang's mind.
Magic Chu Yang forced a smile and said, "Well, now that I have your abilities, I can go to Hogwarts and learn magic with peace of mind."
Naruto Chu Yang sighed, "I hope next time we get someone with something good to offer. It can't be that you guys keep freeloading off me every time..."
Pirate Chu Yang laughed, "Your cultivation speed has tripled, and you still want more? You really are insatiable."
Naruto Chu Yang threw his arm around Pirate Chu Yang's shoulder and said, "Bro, you've really come through this time. You got Armament Haki, which combined with Wood Release is insanely powerful. I've got big plans for this."
Pirate Chu Yang asked in surprise, "Are you guys at war now?"
Naruto Chu Yang excitedly replied, "It's probably the final battle before the village is founded! I'm going to witness the establishment of the Hidden Leaf Village with my own eyes!"
