Apocalypse Evolution

'What does he want to ask? Could it be that… he found out something?' Yun Xi suddenly felt self aware as she looked at him and gave him a light glare.

'Now she calmed down. She really is a mutant that can recognize human language' Jun Shang thought as he observed the cat and slowly patted her head.

"If you really understand human language, then answer the questions honestly that I'll ask you now." Jun Shang said as he scratched behind her ear.

Even though this cat was able to understand human language, to Jun Shang, she was only a cat. And he raised many cats before, so raising her wasn't a big deal. He behaved the way he would do with other cats, not knowing that this bothered Yun Xi a lot.

"You were raised by someone before, right? Where is your owner now?" This was the first question that came from Jun Shang naturally. 

"Meow, meow," <I'm the owner myself! < p>

How could I tell where the owner is?>

Yun Xi rolled her eyes as she nodded her head to both sides, indicating that she didn't know anything about it. 

"You don't know. I see," Jun Shang found it a little odd and surprising that he was able to understand the kitten very well despite the sign language used between them, but it was also a good thing that it understood her.

"Alright then. Take a rest in your new home. I have work to do, so I'll be leaving for now." he stood up as he prepared to go out.

Since the kitty didn't know anything about her owner, he didn't have anything more to ask of.

But Yun Xi also stood up as she jumped out of the terrible looking house and held onto Jun Shang's T-shirt, not wanting to have a nightmare by sleeping inside this terrible looking pink house. 

"You want to go with me?" He was surprised when he saw the cat was clinging on him with pitiful blinking eyes.

"..."

"Fine. Let's go," Jun Shang stared at the black cat for sometime as he thought of something, before he agreed to take her with him.

He carried her in his arms as he left his room and headed towards the meeting room.

Meanwhile, 

All the agents were already on there seats, waiting for Jun Shang to come to start the meeting. 

Creak!

The sound of opening the door attracted all of their attention as they looked towards the door.

A man walked inside as the door closed behind him automatically, and he naturally walked before he stopped in front of the table. 

But all the attention and eyes were not over Jun Shang unlike any other days, instead, they were making holes on Yun Xi's body!

'What the hell?'

'Why are you guys looking at me like that?'

'I'm not an animal in the zoo who came here to entertain you!'

Yun Xi already knew that if she went to the meeting room with Jun Shang, it would arouse suspicions and dissatisfaction among the guys.

Even so, she wanted to know what was truly happening. Because she had a hunch that she would be able to get the answers she was looking for in that meeting. 

But, wait!

These guys, it seems like… their eyes were sparkling! 

What are you looking at?

"Meow!" <What the hell are you guys so excited about?>

Yun Xi fidgeted in Jun Shang's arms as she became wary of the guys that were giving her creepy stares, which made her get goosebumps all over her body.

"Boss, isn't that the kitten who helped us that day to find you?"

"Where did you find her, Boss?"

"Have you decided to raise her?"

"That kitten is so cute!"

Can I hold her for a moment, Boss?"

Everyone started to talk excitedly when they saw the cute and chubby kitten with Jun Shang. 

But… isn't that the wrong expression!? 

Yun Xi couldn't understand why, but it looks like… they welcomed her arrival? 

This wasn't right!

Especially when she was just a mere supporting character! 

Even so, in a corner of her heart, Yun Xi felt warm and grateful to these people who always supported her no matter how she looked.

These bunch of stupid guys, even when the original Yun Xi was still here, they didn't show any hostility towards her and always treated her with patience. 

They always looked after her despite of the tantrums she threw at times. 

When Yun Xi was busy with reminiscing her memories, the guys were literally fan-girling over her.

But somehow, Jun Shang felt annoyed when he saw the guys fawning over the kitty. So he glared at them as he said, "I think we should start the discussion now."

With the rumbling thunderous voice, everyone went into the super still position as they poured all their attention to Jun Shang. 

Satisfied, Jun Shang instructed Feng Ming to start with the meeting. 

"I guess all of you can already see the blood moon arise. The time has also started, this kitten in my arms is also a solid evidence of the start of the time." 

"But Boss, don't you think that it's suspicious. I mean, starting at the right predicted time?"

"Right. You got a point in this, but this is something we took preparation for a long time ago. So we should start the operation." Jun Shang said as he looked over the table.

The youths looked very firm in their face and voice as they raised from the chair and said together, "Yes, Sir!"

"The Apocalypse Evolution is something we have to prevent in no time, we all have to work together and prevent them from taking control over the world." 

"Start working from today…" Jun Shang's speech didn't ended when he suddenly noticed the trembling figure in his arms.

"What's wrong, kitty?" Jun Shang asked as he looked down at the little cat who was looking forward with devastated eyes.
