Attack (Part 2)

That's exactly what he did, after discovering the bear sleeping in a cave on a hillside, Nicola used his keen senses to look for the paths the bear used and set traps while waiting for him to wake up.

It was late at the end of the day when the bear left the cave, the monster was colossal and scared Nicola by its size, back on Earth the monster would be compared to a minibus, the gray fur appeared to be made of stone and made noise of stones being dragged while he moved smoothly. "I'm not sure I will be able to kill this monster" Nicola thought to himself.

The monster fell into its trap, a hole created with earth magic large enough to fit the bear. At the bottom of the hole he placed stone skewers infused with the most different elements in an attempt to cause the greatest possible damage.

The bear lying in the hole was enraged, not by the skewers that did almost no damage to his stone armor, but by the audacity of someone setting a trap for him. He roared loudly while trying to get out of the hole, Nico used this opportunity to attack the distance with all the elements, the excessive use of mana made his reserve fall faster and faster and the bear did not seem to care about the attacks that Nicola made.

Upon leaving the hole, the bear ran towards him, who dodged and circled the enemy using his daggers and claws to cause damage, each action of Nicola increasingly infuriated the bear. Until at a time when Nicola was next to him making attacks, the bear turned and attacked Nicola, the heavy claws cut the leather armor he wore and left deep marks on his chest and arms as they hurled him towards a tree in the corner of the fight.

The wounds were bleeding a lot and making it difficult to use his right arms, he was losing but still refused to flee the fight. Then a risky idea crossed his mind, it was almost suicide but it was his only chance to kill the bear and soon he put it into practice. When approaching the bear and putting himself as bait he risked taking another heavy blow from the monster and being unable to escape, but he was confident that his attack would be sucessful, the armor only covered the outside of the animal, when Nicola attacked close to the head the bear immediately closed his eyes and mouth, he was aware of his weakness, so he would have to pretend to be at a disadvantage for the monster to lower its guard and open its mouth next to him, it would then be that Nicola would use all his remaining mana in an attack that would enter the bear's head and destroy its brain inside.
