Luna tried her best to keep her face neutral. She greeted them with a warm smile and welcomed the group to sit with them. The group was equally warm. There were three girls apart from Si Meiying which Luna assumed were other minister's daughters. Luna casually smiled at Si Meiying which she reverted making Luna's heart skip a beat. How could her smile be so darn beautiful.

The group ordered from the menu and Luna placed her order too. She tried to make small talk with the group of people. Being brought up the way she was after she was found she knew how to socialise properly in elites and knew the four arts: calligraphy, painting, go and zither. So she didn't shy away talking to this group of people. She started asking them about their hobbies(a very common way to start conversations) and started discussing it with them. Meiying's hobby was painting and she was famous for that. Luna was brimming with curiosity to see her paintings and unknown to her she said that out loud.

The group was quiet for a moment when Meiying smiled and graciously invited her to her home. Luna couldn't believe she scored that opportunity.

Their food arrived and soon they all dug in forgetting about conversations because food was actually that good. They were eating and suddenly there was a sharp cry and then there was blood everywhere.

They were attacked and the blood was that of minister's daughter. She had a knife stuck in the middle of her head. Her eyes were bulging out and she fell down still with her mouth wide open up for screaming.

Dead.

Soon everyone registered what happened and started screaming and panicking as they saw a group of people enter their rooms . Luna was calmly assessing the situation. She figured the target of their attack was actually Meiying. Her father was the most important minister of the country.

Within seconds the guards also arrived in the room and the fight broke out. They were successful in escorting the other two ladies out but the guards soon couldn't keep up with the assassins . They died too. It was just Luna and Meiying in the room. Luna saw that they were coming for Meiying. Meiying was obviously scared but she was trying not to show it. In her defense who wouldn't be who was about to die. There were two assassins left. Luna was like....I just scored a house visit don't you dare touch her.

Luna got in a fighting stance. She knew martial arts and street fighting thoroughly well. Her brothers and sisters of the gang were too rough. The assassins of that era weren't aware of the style Luna was fighting with as she beat them up so hard and rough and tied them up. One of the assassins though secretly set fire to the room when Luna was busy fighting and he saw that their chances were slim. By the time Luna was finished up with them, half of the room was on fire including the door of the room. Now Luna could make a run for it even if it means getting a little burned but Meiying can't. She didn't know martial arts.

Got out and helped her to stand properly.

They were both drenched through and through. Meiying saw that Luna had dense eyelashes with water droplets hanging from them which oddly gave her a sense of comfort despite coming out from a life and death situation.

All the while....Luna....was about to have a nosebleed because of the fact that they were both wet and their dresses were sticking to their bodies and Meiying was in her arms and her boobs were touching her arms and chest while her hand was on her waist.

Luna was thanking all the gods she knew. Meiying had a luscious figure. She was so soft and light that Luna felt like she could bend her to her whim easily. For a moment both the girls were lost in their own thoughts standing so close like that.

Soon someone shouted and people started pouring in to check on them and Luna got a robe and passed in on to Meiying. Her other guards also arrived taking her away. Meiying looked back and mouthed thank you.

It was enough for Luna. She sighed in content. It definitely was an interesting day.
