Chapter seventy eight Huge

Susan ease herself slowly into the seat at the restaurant next to her older sister whom she was meeting for lunch. "Damn you're huge, it's almost time isn't it?" She asks. "Yep, a couple of weeks at most," Susan said rubbing her belly. "So what's up with you? Everything alright?" Susan ask.

"I'm fine, it's you I'm more concerned about all this stuff you've been telling me. What the hell is going on with your husband and this Kayla anyway?" Her sister asks pushing two patties and a juice toward Susan. "Hell if I know, ever since Tyler's wedding he has somehow taken it upon himself to become her savior."

"What is he saving her from now?" Her sister asks. "Not even he knows the answer for that one." Susan snorts. "Apparently it has something to do with a call they got from Kayla on Ty's wedding day, indicating that she was in some trouble or something and I quote, as Christian it's our duty to help if we can," Susan said making air quotes with her fingers.

"Know what I think? I think he still has feelings for that bitch." Susan said biting into one of her patties. "I'm so sick of him playing private detective, going around questioning everyone who knows her as if he has nothing better to do," Susan said in disgust. "

"After everything she did, why does he care what happens to her?" Her sister asks. "Oh, he cares alright, too damn much if you ask me. I mean yes I too did care about her at one point. I tried so hard to help her get her life on track. I tried so hard to keep her from messing up a perfectly good relationship." Susan said then continues.

"Tyler begged her to go back to school, get a skill, learn to cook, anything she wanted and he would've gladly paid for everything but nooo she didn't want our help and she wasn't the least bit interested in bettering herself. All she was interested in was spreading her legs to every Tom, dick, and Harry and now she has lost everything and I'm supposed to feel sorry for her, please." Susan said sucking her teeth.

"Still, he took her back after everything she did to him so who's to say he won't forgive her again and give her another chance." Her sister asks. "That was before he found out that she deliberately murdered a child that could've been his to cover up her lies, not to mention him collapsing and ending up in a coma and almost dying. He's so over that bitch. Martin and I had lunch with him the other day and trust me, Kayla is the last person on that man's mind right now."

"I was a good friend to her but she didn't want that, instead she would rather be friends with the likes of Trisha and Tina who doesn't give a shit about her."

"Do you think Trisha got rid of her so she could get her hands on her things? You know, all those expensive furniture that she took from Ty's house and all those designer handbags, clothes, and shoes?" Her sister asks.

"I seriously wouldn't put it past her, she has been after them for a while now. The ironic thing about this is after everything she did to that man, the lies, the hurt, all the betrayals; she only ends up hurting herself because she has ended up with nothing, and the man is happily married, what a waste." Susan said shaking her head.
