In the last week of the month where Sylvester had to leave, my water broke. Then there was a pain surging in the apex of my thighs. Sylvester had to postpone his leaving as he brought me to the pack's infirmary.
I inhaled and exhaled, gripping Sylvester's hand.
"You will be fine, Anais. You will be fine," Sylvester said, sitting beside me. He was kissing the back of my palm while he kept on whispering sweet nothings as my chest rose up and down.
"Are you ready, Luna?" Heinze asked as he spread my legs. "I can see the head of your pup already."
"Yes..." I turned to Sylvester. "You need to leave."
He shook his head. "I-I want to be here for you..."
"This is my battle alone. Let me handle this, Sylvester." I pulled down his head to descend my lips to his. "Trust me."
Sylvester stared at me before he looked at Heinze. "Deliver our pup properly, Heinze." He turned at me. "I will be waiting." I nodded as a response.
