-Following day-

It was lunchtime, and I was on my way to the Great Hall, passing through the corridors of Hogwarts full of students.

And as I walked calmly I couldn't help but think about how right I was about my predictions.

Just as I had predicted, those who attended the first DADA class of fourth year Ravenclaws and Slytherins told their friends and housemates about how our class went, and as an inevitable situation, gossip began to spread , until everyone in the school knew about what happened in class.

Usually a first class wouldn't be all that important to others, but what spread to everyone was my advanced and somewhat unexpected knowledge of the dark arts, or more specifically, the Three Unforgivables.

And again, unsurprisingly, those who didn't know me or didn't like me began to make theories about it, the main one being that I was studying dark magic in secret and that I was a Dark wizard.

'Well, they're not entirely wrong' I thought, 'I study some black magic and I've done things that could make everyone consider me a dark wizard... But they don't know that'

But knowing I couldn't do anything about it I continued walking, acting normally or as normally as Ethan Night could, ignoring the stares and whispers.

Thankfully those glances and whispers were coming from people who had little connection to me, and whose opinion I couldn't care less about.

And I appreciated the fact that my friends didn't mind, talk or question my obscure knowledge, which let me have a rest when I was with them.

Well, almost all my friends...

"Oh, my lord. Would you like us to capture some lesser creature for your devious and incredibly cruel experiments?" Fred asked me from my right side, following me while dressed in dark clothes with a black robe, looking at me with adoration like a loyal servant.

And some of the people around us upon hearing his words quickly turned their faces away, not daring to look us in the eye.

"You guys realize you're scaring others, right?" I asked, somewhat amused.

"Oh, forgive me master!" George said, bowing to me, "We're going to get rid of these creatures so their scared looks won't bother you anymore."

"Yes, of course" I huffed, deciding to just accept it and join in the fun, "But do it somewhere else. I don't want my castle floor covered in blood."

""Of course my lord"" the two said, bowing again.

And that was all it took for a group of second year girls who were walking towards us to stop, blinking at our words.

But once they finally understood our conversation they turned and walked into a random corridor, running away from the three freaks.

And seeing this scene the twins and I stopped, looking at the backs of the fleeing girls, before looking at each other.

And after a few seconds of looking at each other the three of us started laughing.

"Hahaha... I've only seen anyone scared like that my second year when Filch got caught in a prank that left him in his underpants in the middle of the Great Hall" Fred said, wiping a tear from his eye.

"Heh... Yeah, I remember that day... It was funny and terrifying..." George said with a nostalgic air after catching his breath.

And listening to them I looked at them with interest.

'Uh, that looks like an... interesting prank' I thought, imagining what that scene must have been like.

But just the thought of Filch in his underpants was enough to make me sick, and so I shook my head to get those images out of my mind.

Realizing that this prank was too dangerous to quote or even replicate, something I was sure the twins would do, I decided to change the subject.

"Well, changing the subject, may I ask where you found these clothes?" I asked them, walking back.

"Oh, this?" George asked, waving his long dark cloak, "We stole it from Snape's wardrobe"

And listening to his answer I stopped again, looking at him with a blank stare.

"You know what, I'm not even going to ask how you did it, and I'm not even going to tell you what's going to happen to you when Snape finds out," I said, shaking my head.

"Pfff, he'll never find out it was us" Fred waved his hand dismissively.

"Yes, we've placed enough clues in his room for suspicion to fall on Barnes" George said, satisfied with their work.

"Barnes? David Barnes?" I asked, and they nodded, "Isn't he a fifth year of my house?" I looked at them confused.

"Yes!" George responded happily.

"And what did he do to you that you would throw this calamity on him?"

"Well, we hear he made some nasty comments about our dear little sister" George started to reply.

"And like the awesome big brothers that we are, we decided he deserved a little 'punishment'" Fred finished, a pissed off, vengeful look on his face.

"And having Snape hunt him to the ends of the world with the intention of punishing and possibly torturing him both psychologically and physically is your form of 'punishment'" I nodded, thinking this was a good plan.

'Well, if it were with my dear Cele, I would be sure to make Barnes suffer at my own hands, to the point where he would beg forgiveness prostrating himself to me while whimpering' I thought, and just the thought of someone speaking something bad about my sister made me angry.

But calming down, I shook my head, 'Well, I didn't expect the twins to go so easy on Barnes considering how protective of their family they are.'

'Snape is cruel and sometimes dangerous, but even if he catches Barnes he will have to limit his punishments because of the Headmaster, so he won't suffer as much'

And a little disappointed with that, I looked back at the twins, 'Are they getting soft?' I wondered.

"Actually, putting Snape after Barnes isn't our punishment for him," Fred said, as if reading my mind.

"Snape will just be the beginning... A light start considering what else we have planned for him" George then started to look at his brother, with the two exchanging cruel, bloodthirsty looks.

And seeing that I smiled in satisfaction, "I knew you wouldn't let me down"

But instead of saying something they kept looking at each other, and turning to them I noticed their gaze, which together with their clothes gave them a more evil and dark air.

And looking around I noticed that some first years who were in the hall began to move away from us.

'You know, if I didn't want to be considered a dark wizard, I'm not doing a good job hanging out with the twins' I thought.

'But meh, at least they're fun' I shrugged.

-Library-

Classes for the day were over, and after exiting the dungeons after my Potions class I headed straight for the library, intending to finish all my homework and essays that the teachers had given us this week.

I was sitting at a table with some books around me, finishing my last homework which was Astronomy, in which Professor Sinistra asked us to calculate the rotations of Jupiter and its moons.

As I finished putting in the last calculation on my homework I heard footsteps approaching me, and looking up I saw Hermione looking at me with a serious and determined look.

But besides that look that made me alert, I also noticed a book in her arms that I recognized as one of the books I read in my first year when I wanted to study a little more about magical creatures, or more specifically, about house elves.

But I put this book down as soon as I read its first chapter as it was totally biased and full of misinformation about the little eared creatures.

Glancing back at Hermione I saw her in front of me, her posture straight as she regarded me with a look that made me wary.

"Hello Ethan" she said in a calm voice, "Have you heard of the Free Elves Initiative?"

End.
