Raiden: "That is not your concern mortal." The one god spoke down to Logan. "You were called here to stop you from destroying Remnant with the diamond's power."

Karma: "Raiden, that's enough."

Logan: "Be that as it may, I still was doing my best to save people that did not have to die." Logan pointed out and shot back. "I get that you stopped me from destroying Remnant by accident, but why are you stopping me from doing the right thing?"

Raiden: "Simple, you are not ready for what comes next, young god."

Logan: "Young god?" Logan questioned.

Auren: "Logan, you are on your way to godhood." Auren sighed and began to explain. "Ever since your first time using divinity, you've been slowly reaching godhood each time you use your abilities more and more often. If we let you be, you would have reached godhood in a year.

.

Logan was stunned, him a god? Though the thought did appeal to him slightly but having to let go of the ones he held dear did not. Death seemed to read Logan's mind about his conflicted notions about being a god and nodded her head.

Power, but at a cost. Freedom to do what he wants, but at the loss of his loved ones. Logan came to a single decision. One that three of the gods present would be unfazed by and one that would be confused.

.

Logan: "What do I need to do to get rid of it?"

.

Logan sighed, having been left with Death after Karma, Auren, and Raiden left to go fulfill their duties. As for Death, due to her stance on things, let Logan take his time and truly understand what was at risk.

.

Death: "Are you sure about this?" Death asked.

Logan: "I'm 100% positive about this." Logan confirmed.

Death: "You need not do this, Remnant will survive without them." Death told him

Logan: "I know, but there is no other way for it to happen without destroying Remnant." Logan explained.

Death: "Are you sure you're ready?" Death asked, "Ready to become just a plain old human?"

.

Logan chuckled. He remembered where he started from in his old world. Where he started from in Remnant. All the power he had at his fingertips. He just smiled.

.

Logan: "Plain old human?" He spoke, "That's all I ever been and ever will be. I'm no god, dark or light. I've always been human. And that is what I wish to stay as."

Death: "Then you are far more than any mortal before you." Death praised.

Logan: "No, I'm just a normal mortal that cares for his family." Logan said.

.

Death then opened a portal between them. Logan understood that this portal would take him back to Remnant. So with a wave of goodbye, Logan entered the portal back into Remnant.

.

Death: "Life was right, he is an interesting mortal."

Logan arrived at the exact moment when he left. Time resumed as soon as Logan got his bearings. Shaking himself, Logan looked down at his left arm as he felt power surge through the limb. On it were countless runes and inscriptions in the gods' tongues that Logan was unable to understand. But he knew that once they were activated, nothing short of another god could stop it. Logan understood where Magus and the homunculus were in power, even if they combined couldn't stop it.

.

Logan: "Let's get the show on the road." Logan muttered to himself as he started to plummet straight into the middle of Oasis.

.

During Logan's drop, he focused on the deepest part of his soul and drew out the small amount of divinity he had. Even if it was just a drop of a vast ocean, it would be more than enough. As soon as Logan felt the drop of divinity move within his aura, he forced it to move all the way into his left arm. Spreading his wings out right before he hit the ground, Logan came to a complete halt. Hovering just a few centimeters above Oasis's roof.

Logan knew that his appearance would be sensed long before he reached the roof. As such that he wasn't surprised that Magus and the Homunculus were waiting for him as soon as he stopped. Magus was the first one to realize that it was Logan who came plummeting down and the Homunculus figured it out soon after.

.

Magus: "Logan, this is a pleasant surprise." Magus spoke up once Logan landed.

Logan: "Good to see you guys too." Logan spoke evenly, his left arm blazing with divine energy.

Magus: "May I ask what those golden runes on your arm are?"

Logan: "Magus, I know what you are planning." Logan said, getting wide-eyed looks from the Homunculus. "I won't let you continue on."

Magus: "Time-based magic?" Magus guessed, "I see, that's how you learned of our plans." He shrugged. "No matter, it's already too late to stop the ritual. It's already started. Even if you somehow interrupt the ritual, the effect would backfire on you and us." He said.

Logan: "I know, that's what these runes are for." Logan spoke as he reeled back his fist. "This will set things right."

.

Just as Logan's fist was about to impact the roof of Oasis, Nayma appeared behind Logan and went for a backstab. But it was a distraction, as Nayma feinted the stab, Serina and Rodrick sent tendrils of magic at Logan. Volcan and Tasmin started using magic to bind Logan after he dodged away from the tendrils. Logan continued to dodge out of the way as he continued to try and slam his fist down. They knew instinctively that as soon as Logan's fist so much as lightly touched the ground, all their work would be undone.

But soon, their efforts were for not.

Logan managed to grace the ground ever so slightly with his fist. Sending a powerful shockwave throughout Oasis, knocking all the Homunculus and Magus off their feet.

.

Logan: "Now to set things right!" Logan shouted to the heavens as he reeled back his fist and slammed it down as hard as he could.

.

And the world shook.

Once.

Twice.

Three times Remnant did shake.

And each shake made Remnant change.

The first shake brought aether back to Remnant's core.

The second shake brought the Brother gods back and stripped them of their godhood.

The third and final shake brought mana back and gave the people magic once again.

Logan was exhausted after the three strikes he did. He put everything he had into them. But it was still not enough. More had to be done so that Remnant could survive what comes next. The next age of Gods and Magics.

With a fourth strike, knowledge wrote itself into the minds of everyone's minds

A fifth strike brought everything together. Mana surged throughout Remnant as everything blended and melded into one.

.

Magus: "What have you done?!" Magus shouted as he felt the world change.

Logan: "What needed to be done." Logan breathed heavily and said.

Magus: "What needed to be done?" Magus parotid.

Logan: "Magic has been brought back to Remnant." Logan spoke. "Along with the knowledge of how to use it."

Magus: "You fool!" Magus shouted, anger prominent in his voice. "Without temperament, they'll use magic for war or vile experiments. Not to mention the darkness magic can bring!"

Logan: "That's why it will be up to you and them," Logan said as he pointed to the gathered Homunculus. "After what I've done, I'll be forced to retire."

Magus: "What do you mean?" Magus asked, his rage somewhat resided.

.

Logan just raised his left arm. What they saw shocked them. Logan's left arm then started to slowly crumble away into dust.

.

Logan: "I gave up everything." Logan spoke as his fingers crumbled away. "Ozpin and Salem are gone along with the brother gods, so I no longer have powerful allies and enemies. I gave up my system so that my divinity was well and truly awakened. I gave up my weapons and all that I've earned so that I may be at my strongest." Logan then sighed as his forearm crumbled away. "I nearly lost myself when I did this. All the power of an Elder God at my fingertips was almost overwhelming. But the help I had, made it all worth it." Logan finished as the rest of his arm disappeared.

Magus: "What about us?" Magus asked.

Logan: "As for you six, I'm entrusting you to watch over this world as its new gods." Logan told them. "The Gods Karma and Auren will contact you guys soon to help you govern Remnant."

Magus: "Why leave it to us?" Magus asked, getting nods from the Homunculus.

Logan: "Simple, you are the only ones that are qualified." Logan explained. "You hold all the knowledge about what's possible with magic and technology. Use that knowledge. Stop people from going in such a dark direction. That's all I ask of you. After all, I can't anymore."
