SKYLAR.I look over at Annie who was fast asleep with her headphone stucked in her head. I chuckled softly and quietly removed it from her head so as not to wake her up. I cover her with blanket after I successfully removed the headphone from her head. I suddenly heard knock on the casement window, huhn? What could be there? I opened the Sash and my eyes widened on seeing Daniel smiling, how come I never noticed this? His room is so closed to mine."What? Why are you disturbing my sleep?" I huffed and he chuckled "You are not sleeping, are you?" He pointed out and I cleared my throat. I don't know why he is trying to get on a good term with me that he even apologized. "Daniel, what is your motive in living close to me? What is it that you want from me? " I asked and he looked serious at once staring intently at me. "Skylar, I'm not sure what you did to me, I think I've got feelings for you" My eyes widened at such confession. This is Daniel talking here, feelings? "You… feelings? Never knew you had one" I scoffed rolling my eyes, "what is that? I told you I changed already" He said and I cracked into laughter but try to keep it low because of Annie. " I will carry her" He quickly carry Annie on his back and hastily rushed to the Casement, Can this do? Thee footsteps are drawing more closer, what should we do? " I will go first" He climbed the casement and jumped into his room, dropping Annie on his bed, now it is my turn. My heart beating fearfully as I also scale the the casment "come on" He streched his hand and grabbed me to his room. The sound of the door breaking down follows, we quickly bent so they won't see us. " Who are those people? They want to capture you? " Daniel asked and I nod slowly. Now that Uncle Genieve find out we are alive, he won't stop until he see our end. "It is fine, you can stay here for main time" He placed his hand on mine, My eyes snapped at him immediately. I can't allow him to touch me, I still don't trust him. He might save us now but he is here to have me to himself. I stood up removing my hands from his moving closer to Annie who was fast asleep on his bed. I need to protect her. How the hell did he find out we are still alive? Is it that day Annie went to the mansion? Probably, did…she went back there again? It should not be what I'm thinking. "They are gone" Daniel reported and I stood up to confirm it. Daniel asked but I couldn't answer what if they found out we are hiding here? But the voice I heard made my heart to stopped as If I'm hallucinating, I'm sure I can recognize that voice anywhere I am. "Wait, Let me check" Daniel stood up but freeze like he saw something shocking. The voice came again "Ben, where could she be? What is going on? Why is the door widely opened?" "I'm not sure, this is the address she gave" "I know her scent and I can still perceive it in here" I feel my heart beat faster the first time in long time. I stood up to see him, I'm not dreaming, am I? "That bastard can really see now" I heard Daniel mumbled beside me. "Vin.. Vincent!" I shouted his name and they both looked out to the casement window. His eyes widened as he saw me. "Skylar" He moved closer to the window and trust me, tears is already forming down my eyes "I'm not dreaming, am I? Why… does it seem like you.. You can see me?"
