'What am I to tell her?'
Damian pondered as his legs took him across the castle. He hadn't thought of it before, but what was he going to tell Valor's mother, Elizabeth, about his quest to find the girls? And more importantly, how was he going to convince her to allow him to leave?
Damian had gotten the opportunity to watch Valor's whole life like a movie, and of the things he noticed about him, it was the fact that he hadn't moved past the boundaries of the castle without the escort of at least a dozen guards.
Although Valor was a Demigod, and was considered a god to the mortals, the mortal world wasn't home for the son of Ares and the mortals alone. Monsters, powerful ones, which Damian immediately liken to Spheric Beasts, prowled its wilds, making it especially troublesome to transverse.
