Prologue

"Jacqueline" My mom said as we sat down at the dining table to eat "we would be moving to Richmond tomorrow" she added. Then my Dad told me that he was transferred to one of his office branch in Richmond.

That morning, after breakfast, I left for school. On my way to school, I was so angry with my parents for not telling me earlier.

A lot of questions filled my mind, what would I tell my friends? what would happen to my popularity?how would I cope with the new environment? I decided to brush off the questions till I got back from school.

When I got to school, I saw my friends waiting for me at the gate and we went inside the school together. I wanted to break the news to them but I thought it would be better if I told them at the last minute.
