A gentle moonlight quietly rained down on Qing Mao Mountain, dispersing the darkness of the night, and complementing a bright band that consist of numerous flickering lights.

These lights showed from tall buildings, signifying the yet-to-sleep people of the Gu Yue Clan.

In the middle region of the Gu Yue village stood a tall building that contains all the knowledge publically available to the general population of the Gu Yue Clan.

A building visited by very few people even during the daytime much less at night and yet today even at this late a night the light coming from it seemed radiant.

It is the night of the next day when Fang Zheng started living with his uncle, it wasn't anything special. As his uncle is gonna look after the fortune his parents left behind until he and his brother reach adulthood and because of the qualities both brothers showed, they were cordial enough to keep a facade of good relatives.

After the introduction to the rest of the members of the household ie. the servants' mother Shen and her daughter Shen Cui were finished, Fang Zheng decided to be a bit more productive with his time.

Considering that one has to till they are 15 to awaken their aperture and the cultivation-type world he is in, Fang Zheng decided to pursue knowledge till his path to become a Gu master opens.

At the moment, Fang Zheng was reading the most popular legend of the Gu world, The Legend Of Ren Zu the supposed ancestors of the Human Race.

"phew, hahahahahah."

As he finished reading the last of the first part of the legend Fang Zheng suddenly burst out in laughter, after all, what the book stated was no legend nor was it some deep life lesson..what it did state was nothing but common sense and if Gu world was anything like the cultivation world he read in books then it would no wonder that this book would legend.

'My goodness, I wonder if the young masters of this read this book, I sure hope not otherwise face slapping would be a hard task ' thought Fang Zheng as proceeded to return the book to get the next part. He is going to thoroughly enjoy his time it seems.

"So you are saying that Fang Zheng had read and Comprehended almost all books publically available in the library in just one year and now you want me to give him access to the restricted knowledge? Is that correct Academy Elder," asked the Gu Yue Clan Head, Gu Yue Boto the overseer of the academic affairs of the clan with a barely noticeable smile on his face.

"You heard correctly clan head, I personally conduct a question-answer session with Fang Zheng every time he comes to get a new book.In terms of talent and drive to progress, he completely outshines anyone I had ever seen and restricting such a good seed till he becomes a Gu master and contributes is no better than tragedy in my eyes" replied Academy Elder to Gu Yue Bo without an ounce of hesitation.

"Hmmm, It would indeed be a shame to not support the growth of such a seed but

you should understand that just as strength is a pillar to the clan's existence, rules are the reason for a clan's stability, there can be loopholes for those smart enough, they can be bent for those exceptional enough but they can't be outright broken because once broken without paying the price then they would be broken again then again and again till it's become a leech that constantly feeds on the clan's stability hence Fang Zheng won't be given unrestricted access to the clan's knowledge," said Gu Yue Bo leaving the Academy Elder a bit down, since wasting the talent of such a gifted younger generation really is a disappointment but he didn't blame clan leader because he knew the real reason for this refusal is backlash from the other elders after all there is no elder who will admit that their younger generation isn't gifted enough even if inferior to Fang Zheng.

As Academy Elder turned to leave he heard Gu Yue Bo call him again.

"Academy Elder, now that already here there is one more task I want you to take, you see even though children are given basic education not much interest is shown by them and they are also needed to be integrated into the clan system sooner or later hence I want to you draw a suggestion regarding this and present it, in next elder meeting.

An example would be children getting contribution points based on their

academic achievements which they can use to get resources of their choice or accumulate the points to use when they Gu master training.

I want a suggestion that will help motivate every child in our clan but it should also make it sure that the children are integrated into the clan.

I hope you understand, you can leave now" said Gu Yue Bo with the same small smile on his face.

"As you wish clan leader" replied Academy Elder as he bowed and left with a heart filled with giddiness and a bit of respect.
