Chapter 85: Departure

The sounds of horse hoofs taping on the stone pavement alerted them of the new arrival.

Edward went to open the door and a thin girl with short red hair entered the house.

"He told me that he was going to get the carriage ready," Rae Holand said to Edward as she crossed the door.

Edward nodded and closed the door again.

"Well, everyone is here now. Rae already meet Julia this afternoon so there is no need for more introductions."

Edward went to sit on the couch and gave a sign to the others to do the same.

There were several chairs around a small table where the lamp was situated and were placed there just for this meeting.

The chair creaked as Siegfried sat down and for a moment he thought that he was going to end up on the ground…but somehow, the old chair held his heavy weight.
