Chapter 86: Shadowed Hills

They had to spend the night outside the forest since it was already getting dark when they arrived.

Not that they were going to have much light once they ventured deep into the dense forest. But this was done to have a last rest after spending such a long time locked inside a carriage.

After having a warm meal for dinner, prepared by Edward's butler, they went over the map of the area.

Rae placed the big piece of cloth over the foldable table they had been using for dinner.

"This place is much bigger and more complex than you may think by looking at it from the outside. I have never been here in person but I have heard many stories from my dad about people getting lost here and never seen again. The maps that we have available may not even cover one-half of the Shadowed Hills."
