Responsibility or corruption - Marvel

*This story will be a slow starter for those looking for action. It will take time to set the groundwork.* When a doctor looking to save his world finds the Marvel universe it seems things might work out, that was when the plan went out the window. *Please note I use Fandom, com for some descriptions as I suck at them*

Chaos and Reality

The demon (werewolf) tried to turn in mid-air to face Diana, the divinity in her attack was apparently quite painful. David grinned to himself, now that Diana had become the Goddess of Battle, she gained some passive abilities. When not exerting herself physically, but feeling she was in battle, she would start to understand her opponent's goals, when in physical battle she would get a small amount stronger the longer the battle lasted.

Kal was none too happy being ignored and flew off the ground like a rocket heading straight towards the demon.

They both knew the goal, keep the demon under pressure so they are unable to cast spells, since this was his first time doing a full possession he would not be aware that he could no longer cast spells and use abilities as he used too. It was also why both Diana and Kal had stingers made from vibration A enhanced, David needed a better name for that.

The demon was noticeably confused as it tried to invoke a spell that fell apart after this realization seemed to flash across its face.

Kal reached it's back and hammered a kidney into its lung, following up with a stinger to mess up its electrical system, this would hinder its ability to gather power. If it had been against any demon that had time to adapt to the possession this would have failed horribly, yet here is seemed like they were curb-stomping an old lady on life support. (To be honest when the avengers fought him it was easy once Ant-man got inside him and interfered with his electrical impulses for the same reason.)

Gaea finally gave the sign, her wards were up and Chthon could not hide back in it now, with that knowledge David dropped down from the sky directly onto the stunned demon. David activated his new power and gritted his teeth.

David felt the power of Chaos, the Dark. Dimensional telepathy and the ability to be a Mystic Patron infuse into him, only the Chaos seemed to cause any reaction as his divinity absorbed it savagely, the rest seemed to merge into him like his other powers. The demon himself seemed to fall apart like flakes of ash as Hela stepped out of a portal next to me holding the Darkhold.

It had been her only duty, to ensure the book remained safe after the summoning ritual, although she was looking at David with a slightly confused look now.

"It changed, it was starting to fall apart but then rebuilt itself, but now it has a similar mystic feel as you do," Hela said as the others now gathered around David.

"Might be due to me taking his power, maybe his link to the book was not only the creator but infused with the power I took from him." David guessed, "Well still the same plan, the book is first studied by none magic-using researchers, then apprentices and so on until we are sure about it. If it has linked itself to me, then it should be a nice power boost for both you and Selene."

David headed to Genesis with Kal to work on the "Space trap" as they named it while the others headed to Heven where currently David was snuggled up with Steph on his office sofa.

"It went well, I kind of knew Chaos and Reality meshed together, I never realized they were needed to complete each other. It is a little unnerving to know I can totally destroy the cosmos with a whim and a lot worse if I actually focus on it. I even have a dimension of my own now where I control everything." (This power level was taken right from Chthon's description and he never had reality-warping, not me buffing the MC.)

"Does this mean Max's future little girl will be safe now? It said in the files she hurt so many Meta's and many thought she was driven to the brink of madness by her power." Steph said as she snuggled close.

"Hm, as far I know. We are getting a lot close to the time of heroes; I just hope things go a good way. In one timeline Tony Stark and Reed Richards are good men, in another, they are corrupted by the responsibility they are given and commit horrible acts for the greater good when it was just to cover up their own inadequacies."

"Do we have any time to ourselves? You mentioned a pinhole once before." Steph was hoping for some time alone, without the world needing tweaking, she had previously mentioned this and David had mentioned a quiet time before the world got really busy.

"Two things, then I will force myself to let the world be until 1995, then a quiet time for a decade. For you and me. I have the Agents doing a lot of work at this time. Link to Stryker and any like him to be removed, any Meta detection programs to be strictly monitored. I suppose the most work is on saving Hydra targets but still letting them believe they die, of course, Jiaying will never go through the hell she did, and Reinhardt will die horribly. But mostly saving and nanite work."

Steph looked at him in total boredom, "Uh-huh, so what about us?"

David felt like an idiot, all he ever spoke about was his plans, he never made plans for them.

"Well two choices, we can either go remake my new dimension together or after my next plan, I should be the owner of a vast land that even contains a world that is outside of our Universe and outside the influence of the Gods of that Universe the only things is we need to take Hela and it might get messy. I might have to kill an imposter God."

Steph chewed on her lower lip for some time and then finally answered, "The new Universe, it sounds a lot more fun."

David grinned and nodded, then gently kissed Steph on her forehead.

Apart from wondering what DC universe would be in waiting for him (DC did a few revamps), he was planning on leaving Kal and Diana behind, the last things he needed was them running into their other selves, in DC most people assumed clones and that was not a good thing.

David's other concern was why Steph was not yet pregnant, he had stopped preventing it long ago and had since checked Steph and himself.

They were nothing clear and therefore the only things it could be was just bad luck. He had realized after seeing Raven and Foxy with their kids he would be happy to have one of his own, he strongly believed that Steph would be a great mother.

As he sat their snuggling Steph spoke up, "Are you wondering about us having a child?"

David was a little shocked, "Yeah, how did you know? I was just thinking you would be a great mom."

Steph smiled warmly, "When you think about a child your thinking face becomes gentler, it makes me want to kiss you." Steph giggled, "Just be patient, you made me very happy just agreeing to have a child with me, it is no longer in our hands, but I am happy it is something we both want."

It was one of those times Steph would ease his concerns with just a few words, David honestly worried about what his life would have been like without this woman to help him. He wondered if that was something Strange had foreseen as well.
