Helping Hela

[Author note about Hela: For those not aware, The Marvel comic version of Hela talks about her being born half dead and half alive, literally, the left side of her body is dead and the right side alive. When wearing the garment that serves as her cloak, cowl, and headdress, Hela's body is fully alive and healthy. However, deprived of her cloak, Hela reverts to her true form. Without some form of contact with her cloak, Hela's life force is insufficient to maintain her usual physical strength. She is unable to stand and can barely crawl. This is/was a well-kept secret.]

"Guys could you explain things to Gaea please, I have some things I need to talk to Hela about." David's request led to a few confused looks but overall agreement.

Sitting within David's office David and Hela sat on the same sofa, turned towards each other David started to speak, "So, I have a few things to mention. Your Father, I might have deduced his domain. It occurred to me that his wisdom was something granted to him later, so the only other clue we have is Valhalla, which is essentially a domain of the dead."

Hela looked at David blankly, "If his domain is death, that would explain a lot of other things as well."

"Next I believe I have a way to dramatically boost your power, but it might, and I mean only might mean killing an ancient sorcerer and gaining a massive power boost by stealing power from another pantheon without them realizing."

Hela replied instantly, "I have no issue with that, if it means solidifying our power, I will do what we need too."

"Then, I already have plans to avoid this, but be aware than when the realms align, the chances are very high the Dark Elves will attack Asgard and your mother will die. I strongly suggest you bring her here."

Hela stared at David, then slowly nodded, "Thank you" she said with a tremor in her voice.

"Lastly, I am about to change your body. This will make your power purer as well."

"What? Why? What are you going to change?" Hela asked with a slight panic.

"I plan to give you a healthy body," David said plainly looking straight into Hela's eyes.

"How did you? You knew? You think you can?" David could feel Hela trying to hide her hopeful excitement.

"I can, and if you agree, I will."

Hela chewed her lower lip as she stared at David, "Will I still be me?"

"Yes, I will change nothing but your body and that will in turn make you slightly more powerful."

Hela nodded and as she did David smiled, he had planned this long ago, and therefore it merely took moments.

For Hela, she suddenly felt a little purer energy running though her body, but nothing else changed, she reached up to the broach at her neck, took a deep breath, and double-tapped it.

The broach fell into her hand as Hela seemed ready to steady herself, how she stood before David in black lace panties and nothing more. David was given more than an eyeful and was trying hard not to react to this stunning woman before him.

Hela was staring down at herself; she was gently touching her left side as tears slowly ran down her cheeks and landed on her perfect form.

"Thank you. "Hela mumbled as she launched herself into David's arms and kissed him deeply as he became acutely aware of her breasts touching his chest. David wrapped his arms around her and held her close thinking it was what she needed now more than being taken advantage of, and then there was the fact the other women might walk into the room at any moment …

Chuckling David said, "At least now you also have a wider variety of clothes you can wear."

Some tears still ran down her cheeks as she leaned back and smacked David's shoulder, then sniffled and looked down at herself again.

"It is all you, it is not going to change. Although you might want to cover up a little just in case, we get some company." David grinned as he spoke.

"Oh, just for that reason eh? Can I take it you like what you see then?" Hela asked as she placed the broach back at her neck and her normal outfit reappeared.

David nodded, "Oh yes, very much so, but that is maybe best for another time."

Hela smiled warmly and nodded.

After a few minutes they headed back to the ladies, it seemed Gaea had been brought up to date on the events concerning Chthon.

Diana tilted her head slightly as she saw Hela walk into the room and moved closer to her, the two whispered for a few moments and suddenly Diana smiled brightly and hugged Hela close, it actually looked like she was about to start crying herself. From that, David was assuming Diana was aware of Hela's condition. It was then that things finally made sense in my head.

He had declared he wanted to get closer to them, but Hela though He was unaware of her condition, she was avoiding him to avoid him finding out and maybe not liking her. Her friend would be very aware of her feelings and avoid getting too close to me in fear of hurting her friend's feelings. If David was right, he could only mourn the wasted time.

As we were about to portal out Diana came to talk to me privately, form his point of view things went very well indeed.

They arrived at a mountainside looking down over it, they saw a large rune was being carved into the ground before what seemed to be a small natural cave. It was currently night as all sat down and watched a seemingly obsessed werewolf working diligently with an open book in one hand as he grabbed for various ingredients for differing parts of the summoning ritual.

David nodded to Gaea, she rolled her eyes and slowly began to withdraw the power she had been using as wards back into herself, as planned she was doing this in time to the werewolf's work on the summoning ritual.

Selene had said it was totally within reason to believe that creating a rune to perfection would grant it more power, therefore it was within reason to believe this puppy's precise work was making the summoning portal stronger.

There was no chance that they could defeat Chthon in his own dimension where he ran away to hide as he had total control over it, even reality within it. They were hoping he would be tempted to fully possess this puppy due to the weakened barriers, then it would be a matter of keeping him busy while David prepared to absorb him, something he was really no looking forward too even though he was not 100% sure how it actually worked, all he knew was he needed to get a tight hold on the demon, then activate his new ability.

As they watched into the dead of night, they could see a light glimmer from the cave entrance, it seemed like the entrance was a rift that was slowly opening.

The werewolf added an ingredient then howled as the watchers saw a thick black smoke rushing out the mouth of the cave.

"Go!" shouted Gaea as she started to reinvoke her wards on the dimensions entrance, Kal appeared before the werewolf and grinned, "Hi there, doggie wanna go for a walk?" With a loud bang the newly possessed werewolf who had no time to adjust to this new body flew backward, Kal was getting to like uppercuts.

It suddenly came to an abrupt halt as it felt a bone-jarring pain. The new Goddess of Battle had rammed her shield into the werewolf's back, stunning it and sending it flying back towards Kal.
