My mom and dad were flirting in the garden.

"Dad, mom."

"Welcome back… I'm gonna start making us dinner so excuse me."

My mom head to the house. She was carrying some veggies.

"So What did you do today? Did you meet with your friend today or she didn't come today also?"

My dad began.

"Yeah, she didn't come today. So I went to explore forest. There I encountered adventurer. And look what they gave to me."

"What is it?"

He seemed curious.

"It's monster's meat."

"Huh? Monster's meat? What kind of monster? It's been years since monster stopped appearing in the forest."

"But there's was big monster with three horns and its skin was tough. They claimed it to be rare one. They took their skin and horn in order to sell them plus some flesh and since I helped them they gave some to me. But father is it really edible? I was thinking of throwing it away or giving it to duck and hens by chopping it into tiny pieces."

"You sure it had three horns and tough skin?"

"Yep, I saw it with my own eye."

"What about tail and legs and back?"

"Yeah, it had four legs or arms and also thick tail and spikes on its back."

"That's definitely rare kind of monster."

"Is the meat edible?"

"Yeah, it is but it has side effects that normally affects especially women but it's very rare to encounter."

"Oh then I definitely am not going to eat it. It's all yours."

"Why? Is it because of side effects?"

"Yeah. By the way what type of side effect is it?"

"Well, arousing is the side effect."

Okay, if they happen to ate them, they're going to bonk loudly today.

"Oh, okay."

"Can you tell me about adventurer that you met today?"

"Yeah, they seemed to be traveling. They just arrived here in the city."

"Do you know why they were in the forest?"

"Oh, they said they were exploring it hoping to find something interesting like monsters or herbs."

"How many were they?"

"Only two. They seemed like lovebirds."

"I see."

"Yeah, female one uses magic and male one uses sword."

"Oh…, take the meat to your mom and tell her that dad asked to cook it."

"Okay."

My parents are really going for it. I can hear moans easily. I guess a new member will soon arrive. I hope it to be cute sister.

I put book aside that I was reading and head back to sleep…

I had heard about this monster being rare to find or encounter but never seen it before yet today.

We encountered this monster and started battling and nearly lost our lives. My partner got injured while protecting me. I couldn't able to heal her because I don't know any magic so I tried running away while carrying her but this monster got in the way. So I put her to a safe distance afterwards I started fighting it. It was really pain in the ass and before I knew it, I was thrown away buy it and passed out.

Then I saw vision about my parter dying while protecting me. And when I woke up being anxious. She was there next to me lying on the ground. She was not awaking my heart was in pain. I couldn't help but to tell her to not to die and wake up. My mind wasn't not working properly at that time. I couldn't think of any other things, I just kept yelling same thing repeatedly.

I thought she was dead but she spoke. Her voice reassured me.

I felt really stupid while we're talking. I was really foolish to think she is dead without checking her breathing. Plus our condition was also improved, I didn't knew about it till she told me.

"Ah!, it's not cutting easily. That's why it's rare."

"Uh-huh."

"We had planned to explore this area and return back to the city. Nobody told us about monster existing in this forest but we meet one. So it means that either villagers don't come here often or monster just started appearing in this forest, right?"

"Yeah…, it's strange, does its horn on its forehead always look like this?"

"What are you talking about?"

"Ohh…"

"Don't you think it's strange?"

"Yep, it's not fully grown like the other two."

"I better find its weak point otherwise cutting it will take some time."

"Look there, there's a cut mark on its neck."

She pointed.

"So the neck is this thing's weak point, right?"

"Maybe… oh… well I think so."

I tried cutting neck with my sword and it felt easier than cutting other parts.

"Did you notice there's no sign of blood leaking around its body but on only its neck."

"You're right…"

"Do you know, peeling skin gets easier if there's an opening."

"But, it's still hard for this thing."

"Do your best…"

I heard juvenile voice.

"Huh!"

"What is a kid doing here?"

Why is a child here? Did he get lost? No way. Why would someone allow kid like him to wander in the forest?

There's no any sign of anyone behind him to the distance. Is he alone?

He is already here. Why is he with a wooden sword?

"What are you doing? What is this thing?"

He began with a question.

"Oh, this… this thing is a rare kind of monster. I'm actually cutting its skin because it sells for a lot and also its horn.

"By the way why are you here? Did you get lost?"

My parter began asking him questions.

To me, he looks quite confident and there's no sign of worry or any expression on his face but curious one.

"I'm actually roaming and exploring this forest on my own."

"Eh…!"

"What! Really?"

Are you kidding me. A mere child wandering around alone in the dangerous place. He must be joking.

"Yes, and I'm not joking."

Did he read my mind?

He started looking at the monster.

"Oh, this thing is known as monster. I've only heard about it but I've never seen it before but today. Do all monsters look like this?"

"No, Unlike other, this monster is very rare to encounter."

I replied.

"I see. But it's strange. I never heard any monster being active in this forest."

He was with my partner.

"Eh!"

"Are you sure about that?"

I really couldn't believe him.

"Yes, I'm sure of it plus I've never seen any big animals too."

No wonder why we didn't see any animals.

"Animals aren't easy to found since this forest is near to the village. You've to go either deeper or other specific places to observe them."

She added.

"Oh. So I've to go more deeper."

"No, you shouldn't go any deeper now because it'll get dangerous. We nearly died fighting this monster so you better stay with us and don't think going back alone. You might run into trouble."

She continued.

"And we didn't kill this thing someone else did. We're saved by that person and we're grateful to him."

I added.

Our savior must have gone to deeper do exterminate more powerful monsters.

"Understood, then let's go back."

"Not till I finish peeling its skin."

"You heard him."

"Then hurry up, it'll get late and if I get scolded, that'll be your fault."

"Don't worry we'll accompany you to your home and apologize to your parents."

"Yeah by the way, It's not easy as it looks kid."

"Then let me help you. My sword cuts everything."

He approached to me.

"Hahaha!, stop Kidding around kid."

"No, I'm not joking, tell me how do I cut it and I'll cut it for you."

"Hahaha, you want to try?"

"Yeah."

"I guess you'll find it out how hard is it to cut."

"Observe carefully."

"Okay."

He looks confident.

"Just make a line on its side like this and I'll tell what to do next."

"Okay, I got it."

"If you really do it like I said, I'll give your share for helping us."

"Oh, really!"

"Yeah."

"Then I will not disappoint you."

"Oh, I almost forgot to introduce myself. I'm son Joe Eylvis and Selene Eylvis of and pupil of Master Iris."

As he introduced himself he grabbed his sword with both hand and started cutting it.

"See, how hard is it?"

"No but it's not that easy by the way. What should I do next now?"

"Huh!"

"You already cut it?"

What! How did he do it so easily? And it's not even a sword that cuts. It's a wooden sword and how possibly someone could use it to cut hard skin like this, huh?

"Told you my sword cuts everything. Now what should I do next?"

"Ahem, now cut its opposite side just like before."

"Alright."

What! How the heck is he cutting it so easy, huh? By looking him cutting it feels like its nothing. It looks like sword cutting through water.

"What's next?"

"Now, cut its horns from here."

I showed him where to cut with my finger. It's basically its lowest point.

"Okay."

He put his sword on that spot and it cut through it smoothly.

What's up with this kid and his sword. He cut all three horns plus its skin effortlessly. What the heck!
