The chief of the oni village manifests his two long horns as he prepares for the disposal of the demon twins.

Unexpectedly, Rem starts to cry, Ram in response uses her horn to protect her sister from harm and as so, everything seems to be in order, but this time, Rem stops crying, and sees someone from the skies.

Everything is frozen. Everyone can't move and the fires stopped blazing and are remaining still.

They disappeared but the ground is starting to be surrounded by black mist.

Rem looks around but she starts to see black hands crawl into Rem, especially to her horn.

One hand goes for Rem's horn and it crushes it to bits and pieces, Rem starts to cry again and her horn is shattered but something is happening to the spot where Rem's horn was.

Everything starts moving again and Rem is seen with no horn, but with a see through one as it starts to glow bright as Ram horn is.

With Ram using her horn and with Rem has no control over it.

Both of them knock the chief far away.

Rem stops crying and she looks around at what's happening.

Everyone is looking at her, actually she and her sister are being both looked at with amazement.

Young Rem watches her sister Young Ram help the farmers by spraying the water using the lake and her horn.

Rem just watches as she feels a bit off since she's the only one who has not shown any type of power since her birth.

That was told to her, and then she never did use her power again for some reason.

She can't to say the least.

Rem hears some of the people behind her talking about what if Ram had two horns instead of one?

Hearing that upsets Young Rem a little.

If her ears were working and her brain can remember. She can actually do something too, but somehow something isn't allowing her to summon her transparent horn.

Or in other words, ghost horn.

...Back at their houses, Ram was getting praise by her parents.

Rem feels like a failure, but there is something else she feels.

She feels like something is on her back, but yet again, nothing was there.

[Rem, you should learn from your sister.]

Rem is outside, looking at where Ram helped those farmers.

She first tries to touch it, but to no avail, it does not exist.

Rem doubts she can even do this with a ghostly horn.

Ram has one that exists on her forehead, while Rem has nothing but this ghostly horn.

She doubts she can even lift some puddle of water.

Rem breathes in as she focuses.

The moment air left out of her lungs.

Rem's ghost horn shines bright as all of the water from the lake are immediately launched up to the sky.

Rem looks up and sees the water leaving the atmosphere.

Rem looks at the empty lake, now being refilled by the waterfall.

Rem looks at her hands and her non-existing horn.

She just… launched the water up high…?

Rem turns around to see her sister, Ram, watching all this time.

[Onee-chan..]

[Ram; You may not be able to display your power in front of them, but I knew deep inside we're the same. Don't mind what they say.]

So then on, Rem continues to hide what she's capable of.

At least… She tries to.

One time where they were cutting some logs, Rem accidentally shattered one single piece of wood into atoms. Which led her to surprise, but Ram's warm smile makes her comfortable on her spot.

She visits the lake once again.

And she tries to concentrate by not sending the lake up into the air.

And finally she succeeds, but this time it looks to be much more wider than what Ram did.

[I don't know why I'm strong even though I have no horn. How am I strong like my sister?

Or am I even the same as her?

Even though I am the little sister, I feel like I'm sometimes the older one because of what I can do. But I can't show it to the people. My ghost horn won't come out whenever I want it to come out. It only comes out when I'm alone or when I'm with onee-chan…]

Everyday was a pain to Rem.

She was sometimes being looked down upon the people of her own kin.

They haven't seen a single bit of Rem doing anything.

Only Ram has seen what she can do.

She sometimes thinks Rem is stronger than her.

Rem wonders why she can show her kin her power.

To prove that she can actually be useful.

To prove Rem isn't a mistake.

But nightmares haunt her, some nightmares are worse every time.

Fear wraps around Rem.

Sometimes… Anger would come.

She can do what her sister does.

She can do it better!!

But her stupid horn won't come out when she wants to prove it to everyone.

Ram was trying to tell someone Rem can be great, but thinking she's a child trying to convince her sister is as great as her. No one believed her.

Rem is filled with fear everyday and anger sometimes.

She wonders, when can she prove herself?

One day… Rem will forget everything…

That day… Is now.

After her last nightmare.

Rem was awoken by some strange noises.

Rem looks around for her sister and where she has gone to.

Suddenly her ghost horn appears.

She looks at it, glowing with power.

She didn't call out for her horn, but it looks like Rem's subconsciousness did.

Rem walks out of the room. And off to the outdoors, but when she opened the door, Rem was greeted with shock as she looked around and everything was on fire.

Everything… everything that Rem has seen…

It has turned to… to flames.

Petrified, Rem kneels as she looks at the burning of her village.

She looks at someone fighting some- It's Ram.

Rem's sister, she's-

!

Figures with red eyes and in coats are in front of Rem and one is holding a knife.

The figure holds his knife up high and onto to kill Rem, but anger mixes in and Rem blasted the foes off with water, flesh piercing water, but wind comes in and finishes the job.

[Rem: Onee-chan!]

Ram quickly stands in front of her younger sister, protecting her.

Ram proceeds to kill every single one of those figures by forming a sphere of wind and expanding it.

…

Rem gets up and looks at her sister, with eyes still doesn't knowing what's happening.

Ram looks at her younger sister's horn, and it's movements are abnormal and it's glowing more brighter than hers.

Ram then looks at her younger sister's eyes.

…

[Rem, thank goodness you are all alright..]

Ram walks to Rem, but one of the figures stood up and sliced Ram's horn off.

Right in front of her eyes.

The figure was about to cut off Rem's horn too but it just went through, it's non-existent.

…

[Rem: O-O… O-onee-chan!!]

Once she blinked she fell into a puddle.

She immediately gets up and coughs.

[Rem: Onee-chan!]

Rem looks around, and everything is not on fire.

In other words…

She's not where…

Where is Rem?...

What is this place…?

Her non-existing horn disappears as Rem stands up and looks up.

It's sunny and she's not in her village.

Rem gets out of the puddle and she starts to panic a little.

She doesn't know where she is, and the people here.

They're different…

Rem feels like she's about to cry.

She starts to walk around, trying to find her sister.

She starts to run, and runs faster, she screams out for her name.

[Rem: R-Ram!! O-Onee-chan!!]

But she tripped on a rock and fell down.

Rem finally starts to cry.

Lost into the unknown…

[H-hello there. Are you lost little girl?]

Rem slowly looks up and she saw a woman, with strange clothing holding a… a… ?

[Y-you're hurt! A-are you okay? W-where are your parents?? N-nevermind. A- H-here. Let me help you up.]

This mysterious woman offers her hand to help Young Rem up.

… Rem was told to not trust strangers, but in this situation, Rem has no clue where she is and everything around her is strange and unknown to her.

Rem looks at this woman and takes her hand as she was helped up.

This woman gave something to Rem as she takes it.

Cloth?

The woman looks around and looks at Rem.
